Chapter 53: The Witch of Laziness
"Don't be arrogant, both of you," along with the Highway's shout. Elric and Anita darted forward.
The two take different directions so that the view of the Highway is divided, although for him who has had a skull ring is not a problem.
Both of her hands were aimed at creating a wind slash, Anita passed through it with a leap while Elric used the same magic.
Elric had previously been bound by a wind spirit contract named Mariella who was also his wife with the contract that this could be done.
"Impossible."
Elric punched the left face as well as Anita who hit from the other side so the Highway was in the middle of it.
"It doesn't work."
"Don't underestimate me."
The highway gripped both faces of its enemies and slammed them in all directions.
In that spinning state, Anita continued to balance herself in the air before finally landing both her legs on the building before darting back towards the Highway.
His punch was held with one hand.
"Elric."
"I'm coming."
Anita was pushed back then whether it was water magic or the ground she received it directly until it lay below.
Elric, who had taken a knife with his hand, slid off and stabbed the Highway in the back, when there was a gap Anita who had risen kicked the face of the person who was holding her punch made her comb the city street previously stuck in one of the buildings with a crack on her back.
Highway let out a long sigh and rubbed the blood dripping on his face, his bones had been hit hard and now one of his hands was unable to move.
Anita who was standing next to Elric asked.
"Aren't you aware of it yet?"
"What do you want to say?"
"Do you feel that your strength is decreasing?"
Anita's words could finally resuscitate her, as she turned her head towards the ring she was wearing she finally noticed it.
Pain such as a burning sensation and his hands that could not be moved did not come from his fight but from the ring that continued to suck his energy.
"Because you didn't know I was going to tell you, this ring can only be used by witches buried in that village, other than her anyone who uses it will only die tragically."
Slowly the hand began to blacken and then spread throughout his body with a red scratch that looks like a fire.
"My bodies, no, I don't want to die like this. I'm a sin witch representative of laziness, it won't be possible to die because of this."
Elric added.
"I don't know who has given you the title of laziness or any other witch, but unfortunately that name doesn't suit you."
"Be quiet, you," accompanied by a shout the Highway's body exploded violently, each flesh and blood scattering in all directions and leaving only a ring floating in the air.
After sucking up the energy of its use, something troublesome had just begun.
The ring shone dark and in a matter of seconds, it turned into a giant demon with its entire body made of fire, except the top to its lower waist was nothing but a burning fire.
"So this is the original form of the ring."
"True, I believe the power that the Highway used because the previous ring had also taken the lives of others" Anita replied.
Elric glanced at his surroundings except for himself and Anita the entire army looked terrified, sweat drenching their faces along with trembling bodies.
"How now?"
"I can only use my magic, but if they see it then my identity as a witch will be discovered."
It becomes a difficult problem, Anita tried to throw her name as a witch of greed for a long time if now she shows it is the same as making her efforts so far will be wasted.
Just as Elric thought that a powder was falling from the sky, everyone who touched him would instantly fall asleep.
"Not this?"
When the two were confused it appeared that the one who did so was standing on top of the fortress while creating magic on top of the city.
His face was covered in cloth even so Elric could guess who was there.
She is the Goddess of Venus, because getting a single follower of her divine power can help her even if only a little.
"Now attack the devil."
Elric and Anita nodded.
