Chapter 16: Toxic Plants

Namira stuffed all the flammable materials into the suction tube section, plus some plants and set them on fire.

Meanwhile, part of the pipe released smoke which was then put into the culvert, without asking again everyone already knew that the smoke was very toxic.

Elric looked towards Namira without any care for Mariella who kept hugging him from behind.

"What's Elric, are you in love with me?"

"No, I'm just a little surprised your knowledge is so vast."

"That's because I'm studying hard."

"I was thinking that you're actually Alina's greed witch."

Namira laughed while holding her stomach.

"Where might I be the witch of greed, we already know that the witch is in this chest that I'm carrying, right?"

Elric thought about it a little.

"What if the body in this coffin is just a doll while the real witch is Namira herself, if according to Mariella?"

"Witches are terrible creatures, even if they transfer their soul to another body, it's not impossible."

"You're imagining too much, I'm just an ordinary girl."

Elric just sighed softly and Mariella continued to hug him without paying attention to the situation around her.

"I don't like witches, did you die peacefully down there" said Mariella's provocation.

The witch in front of them was definitely not an ordinary magician, she could use magic without books as well as it showed that the person in front of them had killed many humans.

From the magic circle that the man made appeared a monster figure resembling a goat head with a body made of hot lava, when he opened his mouth it produced an ear-splitting sound.

The witch tried to escape.

"Let me go after him, Elric and Mariella take care of the monster."

"We can't split up" Elric's voice was not heard by Namira who had jumped away from the two.

Mariella said as her body was surrounded by the wind.

"Namira is so strong, I'm sure she can handle it."

"I hope so," replied Elric pulling the sword from his back before stepping forward.

The people who had been asleep had started to scatter away, they never thought that there was a terrible figure that appeared in the middle of the city suddenly and burned down their entire house.

The monster stomped its feet making pillars of fire into the sky. At that moment Elric jumped while swinging his sword from above. Since the monster was made from his sword flames it would instantly melt into liquid.

"Master shouldn't attack him directly, try to use my abilities."

"I understand."

Elric and Mariella have signed a previous contract that allows Elric to use the power of the wind.

"Wind Storm."

From Elric's hand created a whirlwind that crashed into the monster's body and then enveloped it, coincidentally Mariella made a very large wind spear.

"Master?"

Elric removed the whirlwind, then the spear made Mariella redeemed right in the body of the monster until it turned into rock debris and was destroyed.
