Chapter 56: A Pixie

In the flow of the river that flows quietly, Anita and Goddess Venus are washing their bodies behind a large rock.

On the other hand Elric was preparing soup for the three of them to enjoy, after a long journey they could not find a city or village that could be used as a rest so they could only continue camping in this forest.

The two put their clothes back on while drying their wet hair before sitting on the log in front of Elric.

"The aroma is very fragrant" said Anita followed by Goddess Venus.

"What's still not ripe."

"It's ripe, I'll move it into the bowl."

Elric gave one bowl to Anita then to the Goddess Venus.

"I should have gone first."

"Wife has to come first, don't you know that?"

"But I'm a Goddess."

"Sorry, in this world we are equal."

"Next time you take it yourself," said Elric.

Enjoying a warm soup in the morning is indeed something to be grateful for.

Elric said after finishing his soup.

"Is there anything I should tell you both?"

"What's that?"

"We are really lost."

"What?" shouted both.

"Are you just realizing it."

"I guess because this forest is so vast we need more than a week to pass through it, is true Goddess Venus."

"Well, I thought so too."

That long they're stuck here.

"Not that you guys are too relaxed.well, for now after it's over let's continue the journey again."

Elric took out a knife from his hand to mark every route they passed with an arrow.

"We're here."

"Ms."

Every time they walked through the forest Elric continued to make scratches after a few hours he stopped at one of the big trees.

"What's Elric?"

"I'm sure we've been through this tree."

Meanwhile, Anita checked all parts of the tree while still carrying a coffin on her back.

"It is not wrong that this tree has indeed been passed by us but not today but three days before."

"You sure?"

"I remember the arrangement of the twigs on this tree."

"Don't your abilities really scare Anita?" said the Goddess Venus who was met with a wry smile.

"I just happened to see this tree when I saw the birds too."

Elric concluded a few things now.

"This tree may live on and keep us stuck, or there may be someone who deliberately makes us experience this."

"That's possible, moreover I really can't realize everything?"

"Pixie?" Elric repeated the word.

"They're little fairies who like to live in the woods and love to hide besides they're also experts at finding a way out, I'm sure before they can be found we won't be able to get out of here."

"You mean they're always playing hide and seek."

"You could say so" Anita replied to the goddess Venus and continued.

"If we can find and capture him they will surely show us the right way."

"It must be hard, is there an easier way?"

Anita thought about it for a moment.

"They like sweet things, maybe we can trap them but unfortunately we can bring anything that can be used as bait."

"Easy, we just have to make it. Let's find fruits and honeycomb, make sure not to split."

Behind the lush bushes all three hid while watching the traps that had been prepared.

They had little trouble taking honey even so they could do it even though their faces were slightly bruised from being stung.

"He showed up."

Following Anita's words a female Pixie is seen flying into the trap, as Elric pulls the rope in his hand, the rattan cage falls down and confines her inside.

"Huh, why is this?"

Elric and Anita stared intently at the fairy, for the Goddess of Venus she simply raised her arms.

"We finally got it."

"Please don't eat me, I have three kids waiting for me to come home."

"We'll treat you well haha."

"You crooks" cried the Goddess Venus.
