Chapter 55: The Devil He Means

"What does that mean?" elric and Anita answered.

"This is the name of the demon that has killed everyone in this village."

"If so then where can we find him?"

At Elric's statement, Anita gave a small smile.

"Why is the demon looking for come here, think about why this old man is in the village when everyone is still invisible?"

"Don't you?"

The old man grinned happily and then punched Elric in the face to penetrate into the prison with a slight explosion.

"I thought you could make those people look back, I wanted to destroy the magic circle unfortunately it reacted to the devil."

"I thought you were deliberately luring us to come here... Elric?"

"Well." Yeah."

Elric burst out from the rubble of bricks and stabbed a knife into the old man's chest before finally coming out with Anita.

The two jump to coincide when the building is blown violently by some crystals that Elric had dropped before.

From the blazing flames the old man before walking appeared, his body seemed to have been charred in flames nevertheless he was still moving normally.

Anita punches the ground to create a large crack to hold the man's movement.

"The two of you really pissed me off, should all these villagers be my meal."

"No, it's true I beat you."

Elric takes the coffin from Anita before deciding to see it from a distance, this demon is not too strong so Anita asks only herself to defeat him.

With a bang on her leg, Anita slid quickly forward, she held tightly onto the fist then darted from above.

Realizing the danger, the old man jumped backwards then took a sideways direction to dodge Anita's continued attack.

The old man's mouth tore open displaying a long tongue that was able to wrap around Anita's body before he finally slammed into the ground.

"Ugh. So that's your true form."

"Truly, I prefer this, rather than giving humans magic I prefer to kill humans with my own hands."

The old man crept on the ground with his hair enveloping his entire body, the long tongue that came out of his mouth seemed to twitch in the air

On the other hand Elric could only see from a distance with the Goddess Venus coming out of his pocket.

"Truly terrible, can you attack from here Elric?"

"Without my weapon it's very difficult, my wind attacks don't get there either."

"So, I'm sure Anita herself can do it."

The tearing mouth was shattered with splashes of blood soaking the ground, even so the demon's wounds could be closed back.

"Haha.I have killed many humans, if only that woman had not appeared I would have already become the strongest... I never thought there was a good witch out there who was willing to help humans, too," she said, shooting her tongue out of her mouth that Anita could have avoided.

"What did you say? I'm a witch too. You know."

"Don't joke, you're just using your blessing."

"I'm used to it, but if you want to see it, I'll show you."

Fragments of ice sprung up in the air forming itself into a spear which darted towards the demon, using the hair all over its body the demon could break any attack.

"It looks like ice magic has no effect on me, if so how about this."

A giant circle appeared under the demon's feet, the expression that had been confident instantly turned into despair.

"How can you use any other magic, let alone top-level magic that shuts down an enemy in an instant."

"I told you I'm a witch?"

"Witch, silver hair, white skin and also a small body.you, the witch of greed?"

"It's true."

"Aaaarrrgrh."

The pillar of fire burned the demon's body in an instant.

"Devil has been defeated" Anita said with a cute pose glancing at Elric and Goddess Venus behind him.

Moments later Anita held back the coffin on her back, while walking down the path she asked Elric.

"Are you sure you don't want to bring back the village?"

"I thought that was the village's wish."

"Wants?"

"If they want to I think they've done it from the beginning," said Elric, Anita and Goddess Venus smiled.

Unbeknownst to anyone, when even the day arrived at one of the dining tables that had been empty several families appeared suddenly, one of them a mother who poured soup into the bowl of her daughter and her husband, who had been empty, as he looked up at the windows of the other people began to be seen.

She is the witch who made this village what it is today and lived happily with the rest of the population.

The witch smiled as she muttered towards the Elric troupe she had seen before.
