Chapter 14: Location of the Meeting

As Mariella and Namira free the kidnapped children, Elric walks toward the witch's desk shelf, he begins to sort through the paper on the table and finds something quite surprising.

"This is an invitation to the sorcerers' society."

"Elric, we're done," Namira's words distract him.

"Ah yes.. Let's go back."

Elric took the file on the table before following everyone from behind, looking at the happy faces of the residents as they watched their children still live.

One of their representatives gave Namira a well-received bag of money and the three only saw the departure of the residents until their figure disappeared.

Mariella who was standing next to Elric licked Elric's cheek.

"Don't do that."

"Sir was daydreaming, so I was a little worried."

"What did Mariella say was right, what were you thinking?"

"I found something."

Elric showed the file he had taken to the two of them until Namira sighed softly.

"The sorcerer group is definitely not something good, they must be planning something."

"That's what I was thinking, I wanted to go there to make sure of it myself.. If it's something dangerous I want to stop it."

"If you say so, I'll just agree..What do you think Mariella?"

"Whatever you want I'll always be with him."

"Both of you, risking your life for a stranger is stupid, even so I can't let anything bad happen when I find out."

In the end they went in a different direction to their destination, in the middle of the journey, they met the caravan of merchants who kindly allowed them to hitchhike on the rear train.

Arriving in his third city just bent down to thank the caravan that was walking further away, there were three days until the meeting was done so they decided to stay at one of the inns in the city.

Namira puts the coffin by the window before she lies in bed, Mariella does the same and she chooses to lie on the other bed.

This is a two-bedroom.

"Well Elric... please choose? Where do you want to sleep?"

"Please choose me, sir."

Elric just looked at the two with a troubled face.

Why should I be stuck with people like this, he said inwardly.

In the end he chose to sleep on the floor by asking for an extra bed on the receptionist.

The next morning Elric as usual would find Namira and Mariella in his blanket, now he was thinking and mumbling, then what would the two beds be if they slept here as well.

After getting ready, the three went to the tavern for breakfast then drove around the city to check the meeting place.

In the file it is said that the meeting itself was conducted in the sewers of the underground city, the meeting itself is still long but some people have been seen guarding it.

Namira said with annoyance.

"They disguised themselves as city dwellers to trick everyone, now what?"

"We can't go any further before the meeting arrives, let's go to the mayor's place and tell him everything but before that, let's take a bath in the public bath," said Elric, Namira and Mariella nodded in agreement.

They clearly smell sweat.

Elric leaned against the pool while taking a deep breath and covered his face with a towel. Before long there were two people arguing with each other in front of him, one was a pale white-haired loli girl and another waswolf woman.

"I'll stand beside you."

"With your big chest I won't let it, only I can do it anyway Elric likes mine."

"No way, everyone likes the big one."

"You're fighting."

"You two."

For his coffin they let him float in the middle of the pond just like that.
