Chapter 57: Getting Out of the Forest

The Pixie flew in front of Elric's entourage while complaining about something.

"You're all lucky that I got caught in your trap, just imagine if you hadn't met me."

Either Elric or Anita both looked wryly smiling. They do not do evil at all this is just a way of asking for help by forcing.

"We're really grateful as much as we can, we've been trapped in this forest for a long time."

Pixie sighed at Anita's statement then replied.

"Follow me, we'll get into that rock."

"But it's a dead end?" ask Elric.

"Follow it out."

Just as they stepped foot, they all pierced through the stone and when they realized they had been outside the forest area.

Anita muttered softly.

"Until every time everyone who enters this forest will not be able to get out."

"As you said, no one can get out of this forest.The whole area has been protected by spells only Pixies are allowed in and out of this region, then I go in again, good luck on the way."

Anita immediately stopped Pixie from turning around.

"What else?"

"This is the honey you have left, you can take it."

"All right, I'll take this as the pay."

The goddess Venus came out of Elric's clothes.

"For now I want to eat something, Elric buys something later in town."

"I understand."

Elric and Anita continue their steps towards the nearby town, where they give a little money to the guards before finally being allowed inside.

It is a so-called peaceful country where everyone is prohibited from any conflict, no kidding who is proven guilty they will be locked up in jail for a long time without being fed or drinking.

And that's the same as dying.

Truly a terrible city even so Elric and his group could not do much, they just stayed as they could and sold some things for money.

As they do now.

This is an antique store that sells and accepts any item while it has artistic value.

Elric pulled out a knife which he gave to the shopkeeper.

"I want to sell this."

"Where did you find him?"

"In the ruins, we're adventurers who travel far."

"I see, I will briefly assess it. Of its kind and for the time I think this knife was 500 years ago, I think I will buy it about 20 gold coins."

"Can't it be more?"

Anita expresses her protest but Elric cuts off.

"We accept it."

"okay."

Lightly Elric took the money bag thrust at him, vaguely he could hear the words of the owner of his shop.

"If sold, this could be about 40 gold coins, very lucky."

Outside the shop Anita looks puffed her cheeks.

"Not that we lose, I'm sure it costs more than that."

Elric held his face close while placing a finger on his lips until Anita fell silent.

"This country bans anyone from arguing, or maybe we'll go to jail."

As if understanding what Elric said, Anita nodded her head in agreement and looked around at the people who were paying attention.

"Why them?"

"I think the rules of this country they use to rob the tourists who come here, we'll stay overnight and get out of this city as soon as possible."

Anita nods in agreement with the Goddess Venus who is quietly listening.

Although accommodation and food are fairly expensive at least this is better than sleeping outside.

That's what Elric thinks now.
