Chapter 45: The Devil in Human Being

That morning, Anita and Elric had begun their investigation, going down the main streets of their city they began to carefully watch everyone they passed.

Although the devil can imitate human form, there are some parts of the body that they cannot hide, namely horns and tails.

While focusing on that, Elric continued to notice the woman's butt in front of him swaying left to right.

Anita held her collar.

"See the man too."

Obviously Elric couldn't do it, seeing men would disgust him, when they were fighting each other... The goddess Venus pointed to the person who was buying food from the vendor by the roadside, she wore a hooded robe until almost all of her parts were well covered.

"She's a suspicious person," Anita said before focusing her gaze on him, before long someone accidentally bumped her into him until the tail of the demon she was hiding gushed out.

"He's the one, go after him," following the direction of Elric, all the priests who do the same thing together pursue.

"Damn it," said the man.

Anita strengthened her legs to jump far away leaving a dust breeze behind her, a demon that started to frantically turn into an alley and ended up stuck in a dead end.

The priests and Elric followed him and the demon threw away his cloak.

"You can't run anymore, we have to finish him off."

The Devil Man smiled at Anita's statement while taking out the short sword from under her clothes, the priests took out holy magic but Anita who already knew what the demon was doing immediately asked everyone to bow down.

The man in front of them stabbed the sword in his hand at his own chest, simultaneously, an explosion mixed with wind gusts swept through the entire building to the ground.

After the explosion stopped a 25-meter-tall demon figure had stood in front of them, it had a buffalo-shaped face with an all-red human body, from each skin spitting hot smoke into the air.

"He must have eaten more hearts than we imagined" said one pastor before calling on everyone to step down.

Anita holds Elric's body and jumps on top of a tall building, they can clearly demon who is destroying the settlement.

"Truly terrible, I'm sure even with my weapon, it won't work."

While carrying the coffin on her back Anita jumped from building to building, right in front of the Devil's face, Anita sent a fist from her hand until the demon was pushed slightly back, just that, just like that, it wasn't strong enough to make it fall.

In return, the Devil captured Anita's body before she threw it back into several houses.

"How is the Goddess Venus? Can you do something?" ask Elric.

"I'm currently very weak, I'm not doing anything but I think Iris can do something."

"Right on," the Goddess in question appeared suddenly near Elric, he continued.

"Goddesses are forbidden to interfere with this world even so they can still give power to the elected envoy. Are you willing to take it by becoming my follower?"

Elric could only be silent thinking about it.

She can be a follower of Goddess Iris, but she will not be a follower of Goddess Venus anymore.

The goddess Venus said.

"I don't mind Elric, it's okay later also maybe I'll have new followers, more importantly we have to save everything."

After thinking about it Elric raised his face with a strong determination.

"Sorry Goddess Iris, I will stay with Goddess Venus.for this situation, I will do something."

"Elric."

As she was about to jump, Goddess Iris held the confused hand of Elric.

"It's a pity that Venus seems to have the best followers. Even if you're not my followers I'll still help you, after all this is my children's place."

"Then from the beginning you should have said it" cried the Goddess Venus.

"I'm just betting, you know," retorted the ignorant Goddess Iris.
