Chapter 9: The Contract

A man sat on the throne with layers like gold, silver, and jewels. But, of course it's all not really genuine precious metals.

Alissa and I walked in front of the King. Beside the king was a man in full armor with his sword. It seems like he is a knight.

Stopping before the King then Alissa said, “Yang excellency, she is Kivasta Ekova Lanhamr. The youth with ice element magic and comes from Alvia,”, Alissa said.

The king began to speak, “So, you are Kivasta. I am Ron Zivanna. I wonder if you already know why you are here?” Ask the King in a dignified tone.

I stepped up once and answered him, “Ya, I am Kivasta Ekova Lanhamr from Alvia. You want me to counterattack if the Veratha Empire violates the truce.

“Oh you consider this a contract, fine.... During the mission you will always be guided by Alissa as your mentor, your slave magic status will only be released if you have completed your contract.”

“But.., if you want me to do that. You must accept my three terms...”.

While walking I asked Alissa why Alissa should be my "mentor.

Chiva really surprised me. Instead of apologizing he asked me where I was from and why I was carrying a bow. I should have asked!

I forced him to answer my question first, which was where he came from and why he skipped class. Chiva explained to me. That, she was urinating and accidentally saw me hiding behind a wall. So with his mischievous intentions he sneaked closer to me and gave me a surprise. Granted savage.

Then he again questioned the question, which was where I had just come from and why to bring a bow. I could not answer his question and had to lie. That, I just bought this bow to make it as a material for the practice of making weapons from elemental magic.
