Chapter 16: Water Magic Class #3

Winfrey shot her water arrow at me from the top of a tall mound made by Nicolas.

I ran away from every water arrow he shot. The water arrows are really dangerous....

“You think I'll keep messing around?” Winfrey combines lightning magic into her water arrow. When the arrow he shot towards me, it exploded right in front of me who was running away avoiding another arrow explosion....

The explosion of the water arrows that had been mixed with lightning magic made the resulting explosion even bigger and dangerous especially at the electricity that spread....

The audience was surprised. However, not with Alissa who was still relaxed as if she knew the answer....

The dust of the explosion faded, a wall of ice appeared right in front protecting me from the burst of arrows a split second before it hit me. The ice wall was shattered then I stared at Winfrey with a slight grin.

While Chiva is still fighting Nicolas who is trying to protect Winfrey. I created three large ice needles that were thrown at Winfrey, Nicolas who realized it was building a wall of earth in front of Winfrey. However, Chiva thwarted Nicolas' actions, causing the wall he had just stood on to disintegrate.

Winfrey jumped down avoiding the needle that was about to hit her. Unfortunately, I've been waiting from below with an ice sword in my right hand and a water needle in my left hand.

Winfrey teleported using lightning magic and now she's right behind me. The moment Winfrey was about to shock me with lightning magic, I immediately switched places before she managed to shock me. Winfrey only saw the ice fog in front of her, then she looked back to see me standing relaxed.

“You think only lightning magic can teleport?”

“You were only lucky to have ice magic.

“This is not luck, but it has become destiny.”

I teleported right in front of his face and would stab him immediately.... I know this may be sadistic, but trust me I won't really kill him....

Chiva still has trouble confronting Nicolas who keeps building walls to protect himself. Chiva cut off every wall Nicolas had built with two high-pressure water knife-like weapons in both hands. Then Chiva flies off with wind magic, while Chiva continues to chase after Nicolas. Nicolas turned around and smashed his hand into the ground. A mound suddenly rose rapidly, Chiva who was under the mound was immediately thrown away and sprawled....

Chiva tries to wake up. However, Nicolas is already behind him and traps Chiva in the hard ground....

Winfrey managed to fend off my water needle. My eyes were turned to the caged Chiva and was about to be beaten by Nicolas.

The color of my pupils changed to ice blue shortly after seeing Chiva's weak helpless condition. I teleported using ice magic and was right behind Nicolas.

With an angry look, I hit Nicolas hard on the head until he fell down. The teleported Winfrey approached me, I immediately choked her neck and blew her away using a wave of icy wind. My entire body is now being fed by a huge ice energy.

The audience was shocked to see the fight they initially thought would be won by Winfrey and Nicolas. However, now that they had been sprawled they could not wake up after receiving one attack from me. I re-created the ice sword and destroyed the ground that locked Chiva away. I held Chiva on my shoulder, and then my eyes returned to their original color, which was brown. You must be asking why I know my eyes are changing, right? Actually this is not the first time, so I can realize that the color of my pupils will change.

A few seconds later the bell rang and the winner of this round was me and Chiva....

I took Chiva out of the arena and turned towards the medical room....

Chiva was lying in a weak state and his breathing was also slow. Alissa came in anxious and asked the doctor about Chiva's condition.

“Doctor! How is Chiva?!” Ask Alissa who's worried.

“At the moment he is fine, it is fortunate that he was not thrown far enough or at high speed. If so, it is certain that he will experience permanent paralysis and can no longer move.... However, it takes time for him to recover and be able to return to the exam with Kivasta.

“About 2 weeks.... While the final will be held in one 5 days.” said the doctor.

“So yes...”

The doctor left the room. Alissa approached me sitting beside Chiva....

“I'm sorry...,” I honestly feel sorry for Chiva.... I feel guilty too....

“It.... I don't know either, but that outpouring of ice energy wasn't the first time..”.

Alissa let out a slow breath and then returned to look at Chiva. Moments later Chiva opened his eyes slowly, Alissa who saw him woke up instantly happy and hugged him.

Chiva who just woke up is still trying to think what just happened. Chiva was shocked as Alissa hugged him tightly....

“Bu Alissa, release...”.

Alissa let go of her embrace and apologized. Are they really this close? They looked more like mothers and children than teachers and students.... Or is Chiva Alissa's favorite student?

Chiva turned to me then.., “Thank you for saving me Kiva, if you're not there somehow what else is going to happen...,” said Chiva while smiling innocently.

“Nothing, it is the obligation of fellow colleagues to help each other..”.

I accompanied Chiva until the afternoon. While Alissa had already left first because there was some business. Naturally, he is a teacher....

When afternoon came I said goodbye to Chiva and walked towards my room....

As I walked I saw Winfrey and Nicolas lying on the bed in the medical room next to Chiva. I hope they learn not to be arrogant....

Arriving in my room, I was still thinking about how the final would be. Can I request a replacement participant?

As I walked into the room, I was lying there thinking about how the final fate would be.... Wait, why am I thinking about the fate of the final? Don't I just need to finish the contract?
