Chapter 20: Disappeared....

I just woke up from my deep sleep and the first thing I did was daydream.... I don't know but actually I do this every morning.

I immediately took a shower and dressed neatly to prepare for the ranking event or the winner today.

But when I just came out of my room, it was really quiet outside. Not even a student at all, I also returned to the room and looked into the field. There was only a podium there but not a single student there, strange? Yes, obviously because the sun is light and no longer dark. However, there is no one .

I went back out of the room and walked quickly to Chiva's room. I knocked on Chiva's door but he didn't open the door or answer anything. I knocked on the door again, but this time I knocked even harder.

“Chiva!” I called out to Chiva.

Then the sound of an object or something falling down accompanied by the cry of Chiva sounded loudly. Then Chiva opened the door while still wearing sleeping clothes.... Wow, he's really like a kid....

“What's Kiva?” Chiva asked as he rubbed his eyes with his hands.

“You're not ready for the event?” I asked back when I saw Chiva was very sleepy and yawned.

“What way is it?” Ask Chiva back. This kid turned back, did he forget what Alissa said two days ago?

“You forgot? The awarding ceremony of the winner of the exam,”, I replied.

At first Chiva looks sleepy and limp, he instantly becomes fit and energetic. “OH THE EVENT! IT WILL BE LATE! I TAKE A SHOWER FIRST!” Chiva's cry that instantly closed the door and the noise from his room was clearly heard. Though I haven't had time to say about the strange that happened, uh he even closed the door first and told me to wait at the door.

After waiting for a while, Chiva came out of the room wearing an academy uniform with a clear smell of perfume. “Already? Though I was just about to talk before you close the door..”.

“Eh? Hehehehe...,” Chiva can only grin while scratching his head.

“Hadeh..., I came here to tell you something strange about today.

“What's weird?” Ask Chiva.

“You don't realize that there aren't any students passing through this corridor? Though it is already bright,” I said.

Then Chiva looked left and right. “Eh? Yes, usually this hour is crowded. But it's empty?” Tanya Chiva is curious.

Then Chiva and I walked in the hallway, knocking on every student's door but there was no answer.... But, when we wanted to knock on the door of Rovka's room, we were hesitant and wanted to go through it but when we heard a loud snoring from her room we stopped and knocked on her door. Must have been a good night's sleep....

Rovka came out of her room rubbing her eyes. “Who si-oh.... You're.... What are you guys doing here, huh? Want to collect an appointment?” Rovka asked harshly. It seemed like he was still vengeful with his defeat back then....

“No, why?” Ask Rovka.

“As you have noticed, the corridor of the room is very quiet and there are no students at all even though today is the day of ranking the winner of the exam and all students must be present in a moment...,” says Chiva.

Rovka turned her head left and to the right looked at the corridor of the very quiet room. “Oh, yes also when I had heard a lot of footsteps but suddenly the sound of footsteps disappeared. I thought because they had come down so I didn't care and continued my sleep.” Rovka said. Really a sleepyhead.

“Alright then, we will find your other friends to ask. Thank you..”, I said. Then Chiva and I walked to Rovka's other friend's room, Neka, Kylian, Gevario, and Zhela. The result is the same, they do not know anything because they sleep too well. It is more suitable to be called the Sleeping Force.

Then the bell rang from the main room of the dormitory, we rushed to the main room or front and there was Mr. Hendry standing.

“What's up sir?” Ask Chiva.

“The children mysteriously disappeared so I want you to go to the teacher's room. Are there any of your friends left?” Ask Pas Hendry.

“So my feeling is right, I also wonder why it is this morning but still quiet.

“There are still some students anyway.... Among them is Rovka and her friends and some students who are still sleeping in their rooms.” said Chiva.

“Good father will wake them, you go to the teacher's room. All the teachers are waiting for you.” Mr. Hendry immediately ran to the students' room, while me and Chiva had no other choice but to go to the teacher's room.

Long story short we arrived at the teacher's room. There were already many teachers talking here including Alissa. There were five people in robes I had never seen before.... Are they teachers here too?

Alissa who saw us came straight to us. “Thank God you are safe,” said Alissa while stroking the chest.

“Actually what has happened?” Tanya Chiva was astonished.

“Murid-pupil suddenly disappeared without a trace during the winner-rating event, unknown cause of the students' disappearance. While the other teachers are discussing with the top officials of the academy.”, said Alissa. So the five people in those robes are the top brass of the academy huh....

Moments later, Mr. Hendry came with the students who looked sleepy.

Then one of the academy's higher-ups spoke up, then drove us and the other teachers into the basement....

Once in the basement, there are many steps from the other street. Then three men came out, and one of them was wearing a hairy golden robe and wearing a crown....
