Chapter 27: Kivasta Without Feelings

I rested inside the cave after being chased by unknown people who kept attacking me.

I think they were Veratha warriors, through the words of the man who said that I had entered the Setavian and Veratha war zone. But this was strange, how could they enter the territory of Setavia? Looks like they are the Veratha spies who are heading to the city of Letonia.... If true, then I should stop them but also I should not be killed....

After hiding and resting, I decided to go out to check things out. I saw no trace or signs of the enemy following me, so I went out and ran towards the stream.

An explosion appeared and to my surprise, those people came back again. They were waiting for me to come out of hiding. I created a dome that protected me from explosions, one of the enemies destroyed the dome and fought against me.

I fended off his attack, while there were other enemies who kept shooting at me with their bows. I fended off the arrows as well as fended off the slashes of the enemies facing me. I teleported to the back of the enemy who kept shooting at me with his bow on a tree branch, then I stabbed him and killed him.... Sadistic, but I don't care.

I teleported again to the enemies who shot me and killed them one by one, leaving only the man I first met....

I pulled out my sword from the enemy I killed, my sword covered in blood that kept dripping, while ice energy kept coming out of my body.

“Only you...” I walked slowly closer to the man while holding my sword covered in blood.

The man was frightened and tried to run away, but I teleported in front of him and intercepted him. “Matau?!! B-Blue ice?! A kid like you killed us?!” The man was frightened.

I pointed my sword at the man's neck and asked him who he was. “Who are you?! Answer honestly!” I'm firm.

“A-I was part of the Veratha reconnaissance force that was ordered to scout the city of Letonia and counterattack the capital of Setavia,” the man replied with fear.

For some reason after the murder I felt nothing.... What I feel is a confused feeling....

I immediately left the location and ran towards the stream.... As the evening approached, I heard footsteps coming from behind.... That's my horse! It's back!

My horse stopped in front of me, fortunately it did not hit me. “At last you came back...” I think he ran away because he felt there was a threat. Well it was right after he left that there was an attack from the enemy.

I decided to walk for a while away from the location of the fight. At night I rested and made a campfire while eating the fruit I met in the forest.

My horse was sleeping, while I was still thinking about why I didn't feel guilty when I killed them.... I'm surprised....

Since it was late at night I decided to go to sleep.., just relax I could wake up hearing only a small sound, so I was sure that I could anticipate a surprise attack.

The next morning I woke up and saw my horse eating fruit in the bushes.

I immediately cleared my former sleeping area so that no enemies would know where my last location was.

I rode on my black horse and went back on my way, but this time I had to go to the Setavians who were sent to fight to provide information that there was a spy who had time to watch over the city of Letonia....
