Chapter 23: The Garden

Alissa took me to the palace garden to talk....

“What's up?” I asked curiously as my hand was pulled by her.

“Follow it,” said Alissa while continuing to pull me into the park.

We arrived at a beautiful but quiet park. Alissa stopped and let go of her hand.

“Listen to me Kivasta. Actually it's too early for a child your age to carry out a mission given by his highness, so you have to be very careful. He seems to be a bit worried about the contract I'm taking.

“Let's rest, I'm an Alvian and we're fighters who always keep promises and morals. There are even stories of 12-year-olds who fought against the enemy that attacked Alvia, the children were able to finish off most of the enemy troops even though they had to end up dead in a respectful state...,” reply with pride.

“Oh so you want to die like them too?” Tanya Alissa flat.

Alissa slightly tilted her head and smiled then placed her hand on my head then stroked my head. “You're funny too yes...”

Why does this woman always stroke my head? Is there anything unique about my hair?

I avoided it while he was still stroking me. “I told you many times not to stroke my head again!” I covered my head with my hands.

“You have to keep going, even though you are unique, ” said Alissa as she continued to walk slowly with her hand that wanted to touch my head.

Because of the commotion we made, the guards came to this park asking what we were doing here....

“Nothing, I was just taking my students for a walk..,”.

“Then why are you guys fussing here?” Ask one of the guards.

“We did not make a fuss, we were just talking..” replied Alissa with a slightly teasing tone.

“Really?” It seems like the guard soldiers still can't believe it.

“Alright then, don't make loud noises here.” then the guard soldiers go back to their posts.

Looks like they already know if we came because of the king, or.... Because the location of the academy and the palace are close enough to make them know who is in the academy or maybe this is arguably already a common thing among nobles and soldiers.

Alissa and I looked at each other after the guards left. Then we went back to the palace....

Once inside the palace, I thought that the matter at hand had been resolved. It still seems to continue.... King Ron asked for everyone to leave the palace, while the teachers and students would temporarily stay in the former old noble building.... There is actually an option for some students to go back to their parents, but what I highlight is Chiva. I don't know why he came with me, but I refused to answer.... How else. While Rovka was clear he would sleep in the palace because he was the king's son. While the higher-ups.... I don't know where they're going....

The night came.... I was in the old noble's room and Chiva was in the next room. There were some disciples who did choose to stay here, but most went back to their parents.

I looked out through the window. I realized it was like something was passing by just now near the park, where Alissa and I were talking....
