Chapter 33: Continued Attacks

Chiva and I rode through the streets of Rossa to reach the east side.

Yet an explosion and a bright light like fire appeared on the east side.

Chiva asked while riding a horse. “What explosion is it?!” Chiva asked who was surprised to hear the sound of an explosion.

“It looks like it was an explosion of lightning magic. Just past 12 hours they have done advanced attacks.” I said as I continued to drive the horse towards the eastern side of the city of Rossa.

Residents in the city of Rossa also began closing their doors and windows after hearing bells indicating an attack, as well as the sound of an explosion on the east side.

Chiva and I sped our horses fast, passing through the city streets to help the Setavians not to penetrate the city's defenses.

We arrived at the closed gate and met a male soldier who came to us.

“Who are you?!” Ask the soldier.

“I Kivasta and she is Chiva Anjulio, we were sent by the commander operating in the east of the city.” Reply firmly.

“Kivasta who defeated Veratha's army?” The soldier then turned to look towards Chiva. “And you are the noble surnamed Anjulio? Good, we need help because the Veratha forces are deploying many of their witches who continue to provide support attacks, plus our troops also cannot last much longer,”.

“Then we will go directly to the battlefield.”

“Hei Wait!” We went straight up the defensive wall through the tower regardless of what the soldier said.

Upon arriving above the defensive wall, many archer soldiers kept archery and there were some who used magic arrows.

I took out the sword from the sword sheath then jumped down and while in the air I teleported to the ground then ran forward facing the Veratha army.

“Kiva wait!!!” Chiva jumps down but uses wind magic to keep from falling.

I ran forward and teleported out to finish off every single Veratha warrior that was in front of me.

I scanned the battlefield area and attempted to penetrate the back of the Veratha army that contained their magical army.

As I ran towards the Veratha witches, their magic attacks were continuously directed at me with their various magic attacks, such as lightning, fire, and shadows.

While running I turned my sword into ice and as I teleported to the back of the witches, I began to finish them off one by one quickly....

“WHO IS HE?! WHY IS HE HERE?!” The witch shouted as I arrived behind them.

The witches diverted their attacks towards me and attacked me with their various magic, but it was useless because every time they attacked I would teleport dodging.

After successfully defeating the witches, I ran back to defeat the remaining Veratha army.

The Veratha Warrior shouted something but I didn't care what they said because I didn't understand their language.

I went back to meet Chiva who was dealing with a Veratha warrior. Then from behind I finish off the soldiers who attacked Chiva....

A swarm of Veratha warriors came, obviously I immediately teleported and finished them off even though there were some of them who used magic in their weapons. But what's the point of attacking without a formation.... It seems that my attack earlier actually made the formation of the Veratha army fall apart....

Due to their formation being destroyed and falling apart, Veratha's forces decided to retreat from the battle and leave the city of Rossa....

While on the south side....

Zhela approached Rovka who was observing the outer area of the city from the top of the defensive wall. “Rovka, I saw a strange movement around outside the city wall,” Zhela said.

Rovka turned to Zhela and asked. “Word move? What is our soldier?” Ask Rovka.

“It seems that no, our troops have been pulled into the city of Rossa so there can be no soldiers outside in the middle of the night like this,” said Zhela.

“It looks like we have to check it ourselves..” Rovka replies and invites Zhela out of the city secretly by jumping from the top of the defense wall....
