Chapter 8: Knowledge

Some people came from behind with a clear-sounding half-step. Chiva and I turned to face behind who was behind us....

Them again.... Five noble disciples.... I don't know what they want this time....

“Hei! Who told you to sit here?!” The crackling of Rovka's voice that patted our seats hard.

One of them with the name written on their uniform, Gevario Ounata snatches the bread Chiva is holding and throws it to the ground.

“Rotiku!” Chiva shouted after his bread was thrown to the ground.

I stood up and walked right in front of them, “Woi! What's your problem?!”

“You are the problem here.... No lowly person can sit here!” Rovka snapped while pointing to my chest.

Chiva suddenly pulled me away from the five bullies. Chiva took me under a big tree behind the school building.

Chiva asked me not to get carried away by emotions and let them take our seats. It's clearly an insult. But I actually agree with him, too. After all I'm just a new person here so obviously it's not worth the new guy coming in already making trouble in a place that isn't his birthplace....

Chiva and I went back to the dorm and we separated when we got to each other's rooms. I went into my room, lying on my back on the bed tired.

Well, just entering has been a ridiculed experience. Actually, it's not the first time I've been bullied like that. Previously I was also ridiculed because I used to have a short height for children at that time. However, obviously many years have passed and I grew to a normal height for a 15-year-old.

There was nothing I could do, so I picked up the book I read yesterday to continue my reading yesterday.

Since I forgot the name of the thing..., “H-Hai, what's wrong?” I asked nervously. I can't believe I'm still nervous.... Or I'm nervous about meeting the opposite sex....

“Hai, I want to take note of what you want to eat tonight,” asked the woman in the maid outfit. This school is really luxurious until there are servants.

“O-oh, y-yah I want ordinary food and plain water. That's it,” why the hell am I so nervous.

The woman started writing in a small book, “So. Soon someone will bring you your food, please be patient,” The woman goes and I close my door again.

I wonder why I get nervous in front of him? But yes, she is beautiful with her hair short.

I don't know what I want to do. So I tried to create a weapon out of ice other than a sword. With the ice power I have, I try to create another weapon. But what I created was a sword.

I walked to the door and opened, “Halo, this is your food,” said a male servant giving me a tray on top of which contained food and a glass of water.

I picked up the tray and thanked him. Before the man's servant left he reminded me that I had eaten. Trays with plates and cups are placed outside the front door only.

I closed the door and walked over to my closet table putting a tray on it. I sat down in front of my food and started eating it.

When I was eating, I thought of something. Why am I getting close to Chiva? Even though I only knew her for a day, the way she was happy or cheerful was even more like a girl than a boy. Her name is also a female name, Chiva. But, because there is a last name Anjulio behind him alone well make him a man. Try if his last name is removed, surely many people think he is a woman. Weird dude.

I guess in this magic school is indeed filled with nobles from various countries. Well, it's only natural why here is full of nobles. This magic school alone was extremely luxurious and elegant, so ordinary people could not possibly afford to finance their children to school here.

I closed the door again and immediately lay on the bed sleepy.... Slowly close your eyes and fall asleep....

I woke up in the morning. Getting out of the bed opens the curtains and windows to illuminate the room with sunlight. Without thinking I went straight into the bathroom and of course I took a shower....

After taking a bath for a while I wore the academy uniform. After preparing everything. I opened the door and got out.

A moment after I opened the door a tall woman was standing in front of me who surprised me almost hit her.... He's Alissa....

“Good morning Kivasta,” greet Alissa who is standing right in front of me.

I faced up and looked at him, “S-good morning.... What do you need today?” I asked with a flat face.

“The royal side calls you to the palace to speak directly with you..”.

“For what?” Ask again.

“Times have forgotten? Your contract with the kingdom of Setavia.”

“O-ouh.., Okay. Do I need to change clothes?”

“No need. Just follow me.”

I came out of the room and did not forget to close the door. I followed Alissa walking out of the academy building towards the royal palace which was clearly visible to be close to the Magic Academy.

Arriving at the front gate of the palace. A few guards gathered in front of us and took us up the stairs to the palace that was so big and magnificent. The palace doorkeeper opened the door and in front was a man with a crown sitting on the king's seat....
