Chapter 24: The Shadow

A shadow passed by in the garden, I continued to observe the shadow while wiping my eyes and thinking it was my khalayan. But when I noticed more observant the shadow was similar to the traits said by one of the teachers in the academy, which was to use a black robe, he said, clothes that cover the entire body up to the head and a magic wand in his hands. I suspected that the shadow was the culprit, so I got out of the room and went down running towards the park.

I ran after the shadow of that man. But when I got to where he was walking, there was no one. I turned to my left and saw that the man was walking towards the main road leading to the palace. I think he's up to something.

I teleported with ice magic right in front of the shadow. When it appeared in front of the shadow, I directly attacked it. The stranger was thrown far away and several guards came after hearing the loud noise of my attack.

“ADA WHAT?!” Excited the guard soldiers who arrived behind me.

“There is an unknown stranger,” I said as I walked forward towards the stranger.

Suddenly a dark force came out from the stranger, I was almost thrown away but was able to survive the dark magic energy wave.

Because the powerful sound of dark magic energy made the teachers, higher-ups, and king Ron come here....

Before they arrived, I created an ice sword and then ran forward during the lashing of the waves of dark magic energy from the stranger. I slashed at the stranger but he dodged and counter-attacked me with dark magic energy that spread to all areas.

I reflected his dark magic attack with my ice magic wave, while king Ron, the academy's higher-ups, bounced back, and the teachers, including Chiva, were secretly following the new arrival, but they did nothing and just looked....

I don't know what they're all thinking. But I immediately teleported to the back of the stranger's body and immediately kicked him down. Then when after he fell, I locked his legs and hands so that he could not perform any magic.

The dark magic slowly disappeared and faded, then I hit the stranger's head very strongly and made him instantly fall unconscious....

The higher-ups including King Ron walked up to me and they praised my actions in preventing foreign attacks. King Ron looked at the stranger's arm and he instantly recognized that the symbol on the stranger's left arm was the symbol of the Veratha Empire's magic division.... Looks like my mission is about to begin....

The stranger was taken by the guard soldiers to a place with king Ron and the top brass of the academy. After that Chiva immediately ran up to me....

“You okay Kiva?” Ask Chiva.

“I'm fine, but I feel that his dark magic is attacking the energy of living beings.

“You? No intention to help me?” Askaqua.

“Not want to help, but when I want to go forward help you, Mr. Hendry immediately stopped me and said 'Don't, let him take care of it himself'. So I can't help you and can only see.” said Chiva.

“Oh so..., maybe they have their own plans,” reply me while tidying up the shirt on my arm.
