first day

Katherine led us to our room.

Daisy's room was with the other ordinary girls, a bit away from my room. He was a bit reluctant to be away from me, but he agreed after a bit of persuasion. He said he would visit me every morning.

Katherine frowned clearly, but she did not say anything. He can't do anything if Daisy wants to serve me of her own free will.

Katherine is really beautiful. He had long dark green hair tied up in a ponytail. Her eyes were beautiful blue, and her skin was pale white. Moreover, her cold expression gave her an unapproachable feeling which made her even more attractive.

Katherine furrowed her brows and looked at me coldly. "Keep your praise, prince, it's useless. I know what the nobles think. Do you think it's because you're a prince and I'm a commoner, I'll run to your arm?" He snorted and then released mana into the surroundings. "Let me warn you. If I knew you were forcing your servant to do something or you were harassing girls, you would learn how sharp my sword is!"

But thinking about it, my second brother was also in this academy. Given her reputation, I can understand why this girl has such prejudice.

Seeing that I did not answer, the girl turned around and continued to guide to my room in silence.

Five minutes later, I saw him.

Despite that, most of the nobles did not sleep in the academy. They would rather return to their homes in the evening and return to the academy in the morning.

I checked my room before nodding at Katherine.

Katherine nodded back and gave me a key and a small book. "That's the key to the room, and the booklet has written the class you must attend. Also, you should choose extracurricular activities before the weekend."

Katherine looked at me for a moment, before turning around and leaving.

After that, I asked one of the maids to bring my things to the room and arrange for it.

They quickly finished the move and set everything up. I confirmed that there was nothing wrong and thanked them.

After the maid left, someone approached my room.

It was a blond young man with blue eyes. He smiled kindly while looking at me.

"You must be prince Claus. Nice to meet you, I'm Alver, I live next to you." Alver then pointed to one of the other rooms.

There are five rooms on this floor. Each noble had his own room, so that meant there were at most five people on each floor.

I smiled at Alver. "It's nice to meet you . "

"Haha. You're quite relaxed, prince. By the way, it looks like we're going to be an escape for the next five years."

"Oh yeah? What about the other rooms?"

Alver's smile stiffened.

"… Well, others say that they choose not to talk to you."

I put on a shocked expression before forcing a smile. Looks like they're avoiding me.

They may not want to get involved with me now that my exile has been announced and my first brother has been chosen as crown prince. It would be bad if others thought they were on my side.

"What about you?" I asked with a curious expression.

"Well, I'm just the son of a small rural noble. It doesn't matter who I am."

I curled my lips. It seemed that he did not lie or have any ulterior motives. I didn't think I would meet a noble like this in the academy.

Unfortunately, right now I am not interested in making friends.

I chatted with Alver for a while before saying goodbye to him on the grounds that I wanted to rest. Alver did not insist and left.

But before I could return to my room, someone else showed up.

“Claus, follow me,” Dina looks at me and nods.

staring at the serious expression on big sister Dina's face before shrugging and following after.

It seems like I won't be able to rest on my first day at the academy.
