I left the CPI with a heavy heart.
Evelyn did not care much about the fact that I failed to find anything. Actually, he didn't expect much. First of all, he only knew that I was good at using swords.
It was different for me, though. I knew that even though (Akashic Sight) was not perfect, no one in this world could escape his scrutiny.
Mmm. I have to explain a little bit how the Akashic Sight and the law work so you can understand.
There are six major laws in the universe. They are (Energy), (Spaces), (Gravity), (Time), (Souls), and (Fate (Information)). Everything in this world is bound by these six laws. For example, the laws of fire are part of the laws of energy, but they also contain a bit of space and gravity. You can also use the laws of the soul to create fire.
Of course, there are some laws that cannot be defined with those six laws, but they are few and far between. Typically, each technique can be classified within one or a variety of these laws.
I specialize in (Souls) with (Spaces) as my second major law. But I have also learned a little about each other's laws. (Akashic Sight) uses the laws of space, time, soul, and destiny. It is a very complete technique which, at its most powerful strength, allows me to know the thoughts of others, see the past, and calculate the future in a finite degree. In other words, almost no one could escape his sight.
But just now, I couldn't see anything despite using (Akashic Sight) inside the room.
It was as if nothing had happened in the room. There were no fingerprints, no DNA of the culprit, no trace of the victim's soul, no information about the person who killed the student. The only thing I managed to find was someone to enter, kill the students, and then leave.
Even Alice couldn't fool my gaze like that. Alice's power was limited to fate, and she wasn't too experienced to hide anything from me if I really wanted to see it.
In other words, someone strong enough to hide something from me entered this room, killed a completely normal student, and then left.
Am I the only one who thinks that sounds crazy?
Why would someone so powerful like that do something useless?
Moreover, how could such a threatening person be close to me without me noticing.
Is that another immortal? Gods were powerful, but they were limited by their concept of divinity. It was almost impossible for a god to have a different enough concept to hide something from me.
Thinking about it, I met something similar not too long ago. There's something in Raven's soul that I can't find…
When I got back to class, Daisy approached me.
“Your Majesty, what happened? You look worried..”
I smiled at Daisy and shook my head. "Nothing, I'm just thinking about something."
"Is it related to the reason the principal asked you to stay?" said daisy.
"Yes. But you don't have to worry about that. It's not something that matters.” I'm nodding.
Daisy looked at me with a skeptical look. He may have realized that I was hiding something, but seeing that I didn't want to talk about it, he stopped asking.
Master Tear entered the classroom at that moment. So Daisy can only go back to her seat. I promised her that I would tell her about it when the time came.
I spent the whole morning thinking about the strangeness of this murder.
Alice entered a room with a rocky face. His steps were light, but those who knew him long enough could see that he was really angry.
“Tell me, what happened!?” Alice asked one of her subordinates.
"One of our men died at the institute." He retaliated
"i know it. I want to know who did it and why!" ." Alice's face turned cold.
"Sorry, young lady. We don't know shit. The one who was killed was one of our people who did not stand out. Her only task is to get along with other students and report if she learned anything valuable.” Subordinate his head in fear.
Alice frowned.
"Did he have enemies?"
"Nothing, He has to keep a low profile, so he never finds trouble with anyone and always tries to keep a good relationship with everyone around him." Answer the man.
Alice's eyebrows are deepening.
The subordinate hesitated for a moment before asking a question.
"Young lady, what are your instructions?"
Alice patted the arm of the chair she was sitting on. “Nobody killed one of my men without paying the consequences. Wait a minute, I'll do a prophecy.”
The subordinate nodded.
Alice closed her eyes and tried to observe the strands of fate. He looked for the rope belonging to his dead subordinates and tried to learn everything related to his death.
But when he reached that point, his expression changed.
Everything about the death of his subordinates had been eliminated from fate.
It was different from when he couldn't see something because he wasn't strong enough. He could see, but there was nothing to see.
Alice opened her eyes with a dark expression. Lately things like this happen often.
And he only knew someone with that ability.
“.... Prince Claus? but why?"
