"Hello, Prince Claus. My name is Alice Ferret, and I'm Earl Ferret's daughter."

"Earl Ferret?" I made a surprised expression. The Ferret family was one of the strongest noble families in the empire.

In the Arcadian Empire, the Earl was the highest rank a noble could attain without being a member of the royal family. There were only three Earl families in the empire, the Ferret family, the Riea family, and the Carmell family.

The Riea family was closely related to the military and was very close to the current emperor. My stepmother, Lilia Riea, is the sister of the current head of the Riea family.

The Ferret family, on the other hand, was mainly involved in politics. The family was heavily entangled with the academics and imperial ministers, but strangely, none of the members were in an important position.

"Oh? Prince Claus really has a good relationship with your family" Alice said.

I just nodded with a smile.

After that, Alice smiled and talked about many topics with me for a while, and I answered appropriately. Of course, it wasn't because he found me attractive or fell in love with me at first sight. Instead, he was most likely trying to get me out.

But after we had a short conversation, Alice finally showed her true intentions.

"Right, I heard what happened at Prince Claus' party. I have to say that I'm very sorry.

We talked for a while until I finally resigned.I then left the train and continued on my way.

Meanwhile, I thought about the things I found earlier.

After the prince left the carriage, Alice Ferret's expression changed completely. His innocente face turned pensive and his smile turned sullen.

"What do you think of her, Hannah?" He asked with a calm face.
