4.26. Land Generation Magic

”Kahl-Cahentah!!”

Once again Taja stretched out the spell. Hundreds of fireballs fused together and bounced back into space, burning an army of witches and a colony of wild bats. Space blazed an incredible red flame, expanding and forming a huge wave devouring everything that was passing. Ash rain happened for a moment. Bodies and charred carcasses of bats are falling.

After that Taja felt his body was very weak. The hot air above stings to the surface of the sand. Finally it collapsed.

Lorr En rose after the scorched rain had subsided. The abandonment of Chairman Sujinsha and turning toward Taja rested.

”You're crazy! So crazy!” he clenched tightly to Taja's limp body.

The sky was still smoky and a strong wind changed. Suddenly Taja shivered. There was another fear he felt, beginning to be seen as the shadow of a giant wolf loomed in the sky.

”I'll protect you!” Lorr En hugged Taja. If only he could carry it in his pocket, it would be done. They looked at the increasingly boisterous sky by the sound of the roar of black clouds in the form of wolves.

”Arraoragh ...,” Taja inching under Lorr En to his back. The dark shadow of those stealth creatures surrounded on it.

”Save yourself!” Taja pushed Lorr En because the creatures almost grabbed him.

”Tidaaak!” Lorr En was overthrown. From a place a little far away, he saw the tired face of Taja and had a chance to speak.

”Running!” Lorr En attempted to reach Taja but was too far from his reach, ”Run!” the thrill to evoke Taja from being glued to the spot. Tens of Arraoragh attacked again.

”Tidaaak!!”

An Arraoragh lunged at Lorr En until it bounced hard. While dozens of others attacked in one direction where Taja gathered.

”No...,” Lorr En is out of breath, the sand clogs his mouth and ears. Next to his leg is very painful because it is crooked right in the ankle.

”Taja ...,” Lorr En tearfully watched Taja being thrown into space between the flying Arraagh.

The creatures roared heavily, stretching the body so that it multiplied many times. And from the snout, long fangs appear.

Wuuurghi!

Lorr En. The last time he saw the shadow of dozens of Arraoragh stormed again towards Taja who fell to a place. He himself could do nothing. Imagine his friend being torn apart and preyed upon. Suddenly the ceiling changed brilliantly. A sphere of light shimmered from the cloud.

Auurgh ...!

The circle of light turned into a fire wolf. Long roars before crashing all the Arraoragh. Those ferocious creatures bounced off in all directions and disappeared into the darkness of the sky. Some fell into the sand and were sucked. Unless the biggest one gets back up and is ready to fight with the fire wolf.

Auuuurgh ...!!!

Two different wolves clashing snouts. Banging each other's bodies. The last Arraoragh bounced off into space and vanished in a dashed flash. There was a fire wolf that landed in the sand. Roared for a moment. His body was again surrounded by a round white light. And in a blink of an eye turned into a figure of an adult man.

The darkness of the night hid the man's face. Only his clothes seemed to sweep away the sand. He approached to where Taja was lying then carried him and moved to the position Lorr En was in.

Up to a few feet away from Lorr En, the man with the white light all over him put Taja there.

”Taja!” Lorr En immediately greeted. The shadow of the man moved away.

Taja's face turned pale. His chest, arms and legs were badly torn apart and his breath was very thin, ”Ni Gauma ..” he said with his hands flailing at the figure of the glowing man leaving him. When the man's face had a look back while reviewing the hope, ”You will be healed ...,” his voice sounded softly mingled with the wind.

But the fight is not over. A black-robed witch with the largest bat-riding had confronted the glowing man. The black magician from his mount immediately landed directly in front.

The black-robed witch as the only one who escaped the flames, after revealing the hood of the robe, appeared her pale bluish face. Except for his dark red eye bags and snake gurgles up and down on the left and right temples.

The glowing man just pecked in place. Both of his arms stretched out wide and released light from his body. A moment later they put forth energy. Two different flashes of light clashed, until the jolt of each force caused a local earthquake and their two shadows bounced off each other in opposite directions.

The atmosphere was back silent. A hot wind rippled around Lorr En the only one that was still conscious after the two human shadows clashed. One disappeared into the darkness and the other fell into the sand.

Lorr En approached Taja, stirring many times. But the shaking in Taja's chest was very severe.

”Taja .. endure .. don't leave me,” Lorr En can't hold back tears, ”Don't let me get lost in this world!”

Lorr En was crying. But Taja's body is not budging at all the breath begins to thin.

Shraaakh ...!

The wings flapped, surprisingly Lorr En had not stopped his suffering. When he looked back, not far from him, there was a giant bat on the witch's mount. It turned out to be still watching from a direction not seen since.

Lorr En gasped. And now, no one but him is alive. Lorr En.

Kraaak ...!

The bat crawled fast and attacked!

”No...!” Lorr En held his breath while closing his eyes. He hugged Taja tightly as soon as the giant bat lunged.

Gratb ...!

But suddenly the bat's head was bounced away from his body. Slowly Lorr En revealed his face and was seen by him a sword dripping thick blood in one's hand. Apparently, the hand was also the one who had momentarily slashed the neck of the bat before it pounced.

"Sorry, I'm late!”

Someone stand. Seeing him, Lorr En became a warlock.

”Chairman Sujinsha ..” nonetheless makes Lorr En breathe a sigh of relief.

”How is it?” Chief Sujinsha checked Taja's condition.

”Very severe ...,” breath Lorr En stinged up and down. Momentarily Chairman Sujinsha clasped Taja's wrist and touched it to the cheek, ”I'm too late to protect you guys ..”

”Can he survive?” Lorr En gasped. Chief Sujinsha looked to the ruins of Kakilangit Far there.

”There is hope if we move faster!”

”Please him, Captain! Get him out of here soon!” pinta Lorr En, no matter what her leg is badly sprained.

”Awareness to my back!”

”I just add load!” Lorr En refuses, but Chief Sujinsha is reluctant to leave him.

”Reply to my back and hold it tightly. It's order!” said Chairman Sujinsha once again. Finally he carried the unconscious Taja as well as carrying Lorr En on his back, towards the ruins of Kakilangit under the full moon which was almost right in the middle of the sky.

The desert is back in silence. Unless the roar of the wind was the loudest sound heard. From a direction invisible to anyone, a hand was puffed out of the sand. For a moment, his body wrapped in black robes crawled out. He growled heavily as far as staring into the ruins of Kakilangit far in front of him. But he undoes the intention to follow when the bright full moon increasingly shifts to the middle of the sky, dampening a bunch of anchored angkara behind the red eyes. Finally, he chose to disappear into the darkness of the night.
