The Chronicle Of Jawata (Compilation Trial Edition)
34. Convicted (1)

News of the convicts of Taja and Raojhin shocked the entire population of the Palace of Unity Praja. Unceasingly they talked about the two convicts, the issue and the news of exaggeration came in turn. Truly all students are made to seize, there are pros and cons, there are also those who make fun, even expect the two prisoners to be harmed. In fact, some residents of the palace and some people of Tanapura were made to fret. But whatever the outsiders say, the whole Kancil Team is deeply concerned about Taja, especially Lorr En who has never calmed down since his best friend was arrested. And another man, Shaninka, persuaded Princess Alingga to do something about Taja.

“So, how should I?“

“Please .. if the begging one is Mr. Princess, must be granted ...,” pinta Shaninka, both knees to the floor, “I beg the princess ..” Shaninka looks compassionate.

Princess Alingga was stunned and confused as to how to take action. Half his heart hesitated because the case was beyond his authority, but half his heart also wanted to help those who had once saved his life. For quite a long time he was silent, letting Shaninka anxiously wait for a response from him.

Princess Alingga turned her head and looked at Shaninka who was very worried.

“We immediately went to the Silver Hall,” that was all Princess Alingga said in response, although it still left Shaninka wondering.

The two of them hurriedly walked through the spacious palace building, slightly sneaking between the long terrace crevices until finally outside the building where the Silver Hall was. There were several door guards against them.

“Please forgive me because this is not the place of the Princess!” Prevent one of them.

Princess Alingga stared intently, “I give the order, do you want to bear the punishment for blocking my path?“ he said a little rebuking. The two guards immediately pulled over and paved the way for the Princess with Shaninka. The two of them immediately headed to the courtroom.

Meanwhile, in the courtroom, Taja and Raojhin were in front of him by Raghapati and were guarded by dozens of guards around the room. There were also several witnesses and defenders present at the venue. It seems that the trial has been going on for quite some time, but there is still no decision from Lord Raghapati.

“A case like this should be handled by the Judge of the Palace, but since the two defendants are children who once merited me like you, then I had to intervene myself,” said the dashing Majesty Raghapati standing in front of the whole audience.

“And this is my decision ...,” continued Mr. Raghapati.

Raojhin who was gathered together with the nearby Taja slowly raised his face. The boy was somewhat daunted by waiting for a verdict from Rajapati on the trial that had lasted more than two hours.

“Taja, student of Tanapura Praja Union with Praja Muda identity status. I sentenced him to exile for a bold and presumptuous offense to enter one of the forbidden areas of the Palace Library. This punishment is as severe as the punishment of intruders and spies. Then the punishment imposed on you is exile outside Tanapura!”

His majesty dropped the paper roll in his grip onto the floor in front of Taja.

“Raojhin, a student of the Tanapura Praja Union with the status of the Golden Praja identity, for having dared to pervert special rights from me, for having, then the appropriate punishment for you is to be expelled from military school and returned to your place of origin without status or honorary degree!“

Next it was a roll of paper for Raojhin to be dropped, it sounded as he stumbled upon the floor sounding like a sword slash slicing through the heart.

The silent atmosphere lasted quite a long time. Taja looked at Raojhin, and vice versa. Raojhin looks resigned without tears. But not so, he felt otherwise. His decision is considered by him to be very unfair. Taja did not receive such a heavy sentence falling on Raojhin, especially for a son of the Chairman who had contributed to this country. Taja glazed as he watched Raojhin drown like a human who had lost his dreams and hopes. This made him dare to raise objections.

“Please your fair and wise Majesty reimburse the punishment for Raojhin because in fact he is innocent, but the guilty servant ..” Taja said with disregard for his doubts.

His face turned red upon hearing Taja as the defendant said that. This is the first time a child defendant has lifted his knee before the trial. All those present were very surprised to see the behavior of Taja, including Raojhin who had been bowed and only looked at his friend who had been a few steps forward to dare to stand in line with Lord Raghapati.

“Supply! Go back to your place and beg mercy on your fair, wise and honorable Majesty!!!“ a top adviser to Raghapati said out loud. Next two guards approached Taja, but the King first gestured to prevent the two guards from subduing him.

“Say, what makes you object to my decision?“ ask your Majesty Raghapati getting closer to Taja.

“Ayahanda, please kindly merciful and thoughtful father to forgive them!“ suddenly Princess Alingga shouted as she broke through the ranks of the guards and immediately kowtowed at her Father's feet. Surprised by the people who were there, but they could do nothing because the princess herself said so. Even the Sujinsha Chairman and the Geneva Chief who testified at the trial there, was also unable to wrinkle, his face which initially seemed excited after hearing the decision of Lord Raghapati, suddenly turned sour.

All eyes are currently on the Princess alone puppet Paduka Raghapati.

“My daughter, Alingga ... what are you doing?“ His majesty Raghapati was surprised to see the princess coming suddenly and threw such a word.

Princess Alingga stepped over the red carpet range along the distance towards her father standing in front of the court podium.

“Dad, I don't want a wretched father for breaking the oath .. vow father first before I recover. Father said, whoever can heal me, then father will glorify the life of the helper and be willing to fulfill all his requests, do you remember his own vows?“

Princess tears flowed between her smooth and soft cheeks. The confusion of Raghapati is growing, when he has forgotten the oath he once made.

This time, Raghapati took a deep breath, while her daughter was still on the floor.

“Wake up, my son ..” ask Raghapati and then pull her daughter's arm.

“Almost I forgot that vow, but .. as my fair Majesty, I consider all my people to be equal. The guilty must be punished!” lord Raghapati said, Reason.

“Can't dad change that penalty?“ pinta Putri Alingga's.

Replied to Raghapati shook her head, “No, my son.”

“Can father punish the small mistake of someone who has sacrificed his life for me?“ the Princess looked at her father's face expectantly. Taja, Raojhin, Shaninka, and all who were in that place, were glued to each other.

“The pendant is the granting of Your Majesty and anyone is entitled to special permission and freedom to do anything as long as it is not a crime or violation with the criminal law. And entering the palace library is not an offense. It is natural and permissible for those who have the pendant!” the Princess was only 10 years old but she dared to say firmly in front of dozens of important officials who were present there.

”Not good to interfere in the trial! You're not one of the councils, you're just a 10-year-old girl. Return to the palace of the residence,” tell your Majesty Raghapati gently.

The atmosphere in the room was getting quieter, but the atmosphere in the brains of each person present there was heating up even more. Everyone held back emotions when the young girl threw the word of her majesty Raghapati, ”Hamba did not want to be healed just to witness this. Enough of my friends to be victims. And him, the innocent though.”

She's she? I don't know who the princess meant.

”Why didn't you lend me my inheritance to kill me?” Princess with tears. ”Why?”

”Guards, take the Princess back to the Princess' Palace!” The Order of Lord Raghapati. In a short time, the two bodyguards were intent on herding the Princess. But he revolted.

”If father is not able to uphold justice anymore, maybe this will remind father of his own father's oath,” he took out something from the sidelines of the cloak.
