The Chronicle Of Jawata (Compilation Trial Edition)

A thin mist enveloped. The splashing of water ripples met the wall of the boat formed from the cleavage of tree trunks, crossing the silence of local waters.

Faintly, three figures of young people on the boat. Silent atmosphere of the morning blind, dim. The sun began to appear.

A cold wind blew, penetrating to the bone. The remaining raindrops among the mist slowly thinned out of sight. The tree boat passed quietly on the surface of the water. The surrounding silent atmosphere, almost without any waves. Too quiet after the storm hit last night. The tired tired face of the three figures of the youngster on the boat.

A pair of puffy eyes, slowly glancing to his right and left side.

”Earising ...,” the soft voice of one of the three young people on the boat, evoked silence between them.

”Taja.”

The young man who was called by that name, just budged.

Neirra, gently touch Taja's shoulder. Deep sorrow was still implied on their faces, as if they did not want to live anymore. Taja reluctant to talk but watch his eyes full of alert in the condition of the blind morning like that.

”Taja, we lost Gunggali,” said Neirra next to Taja, trying to strengthen himself.

”Neirra, I'm fine,” said Taja lirih. Scrambling briefly from the depths of his chest, the glistening crystal seemed to glow and dim again.

”Are we close to the mainland?” Neirra next to him, opened a voice. He turned his head briefly in all directions even though what seemed to be only a vast ocean seemed to be without edges.

”Myuriz-mu hesitate to determine the direction!” said someone again, initially he stood in the front of the boat, then moved to next to Taja sitting.

He is, Lorr En. Seriously, his eyes looked at the star crystal in Taja's grasp. Since then it has been shaken, but does not show a clear light.

”What might we be getting away from the destination, whereas I caught a glimpse of the light Myuriz leads to it,” Neirra concluded another. His voice sounded trembling in a shivering state of coldness. Not to mention his lips and around under his eyes that had narrowed petals, looked pale blue.

”Celaka, you changed your form!” Lorr En caught the curiosities of noticing Neirra's strange face.

”I'm human! My unusual face alone, does not mean that it will change shape, this is because I am cold!” Neirra defended herself and her face turned sour.

”Which person? A jawata? Could it be that all this time, there were Jawata humans living in Gunggali besides ..?” Lorr En shut his mouth. His forefinger leads to Taja seriously observing Myuriz's crystal. However, Taja did not care what Lorr En said.

”During this time, I thought that you were the original occupant of Gunggali,” Lorr En awkwardly and switched the conversation as if not seeing Taja. But Neirra was sindered.

”Maybe you are Monkey Man!” continued Lorr En, Neirra replied glaring at him.

”I'm human!” Neirra, the girl with an ape-like face, rebuked loudly.

”Ssst, don't be noisy,” Taja interrupted the conversation of Lorr En and Neirra. The way his eyes looked was like inviting his two friends to immediately follow the bow of the boat. As if getting signs of an unexpected natural situation.

”See there!” Taja showed something in plain sight as the boat traversed the floating wooden debris. Neirra and Lorr En were stunned to see the conditions around the ravine waters. Such a ruined former ship had happened before their boat passed around it.

”What Sea People have caused all this?” Neirra was horrified as the boat traversed smoke-filled debris billowing from multiple directions. The tree boat they were riding on was splitting the wood debris.

”It is impossible for Sea People to reach this area,” replied Taja.

”This expedition we passed, including the waters of Gunggali,” added Taja.

”Look! Someone is floating!”

Lorr En pointed at something. The bodies were stiff, clad in the calm surface of the water. The weather left a storm overnight, the sky looked a little cloudy. The countless dead bodies were increasingly visible to the eyes of the three youths.

”Laskers Guard!”

Taja. He saw bodies floating. Occasionally the bottom of the boat hit the lifeless bodies. Lorr En grew wide, both eyes glazed over and unable to say anything due to the shock.

Not yet over the deep sorrow, Gunguntali has perished. Only they survived. Now, they witnessed the massacre themselves until it extended into the waters.

”There too!” Neirra pointed in all directions. Even more, they appeared stiff bodies, overlapping each other on half-drowned wood.

”They're all dead ...,” Taja hissing in horror. The more he noticed that the bodies of those people were already lifeless. His eyes were wide. Neirra and Lorr En.

”Perhaps a few days ago,” said Taja amid the tears of horror and surprise. Lorr En fell limp, falling backwards.

”This many Gunggali Warriors have fallen?!” tense and panicked, Neirra did not want to believe that the horrific scene was real. Lorr En nearly collapsed and fainted.

”Nothing remains,” said Taja, thought tensely, not to mention the bodies face down and full of injuries due to sharp weapons. Blades of arrows and spears stuck on the backs of the corpses.

”Good once!” Neirra. His eyeballs are glazed.

”Who is this evil slaughtered Gunggali?” Taja harbored an overwhelming anger, mingling in horror and gripping.

"Could the slaughter man be after us?" suddenly a serious threat quieted the atmosphere between the three of them.

”This many Gunggali Warriors, all dead?!” Lorr En leaned from the edge of the boat, until the faces of the dead bodies were clear on the surface of the water. Her tears were flowing and flowing. Shortness of breath anyway.

”Lorr, strengthen yourself!” Neirra was hit.

”We must hurry immediately,” continued Neirra full of was-was. Then pedal the paddle as soon as possible. The boat is going faster.

Overwhelmed by misgivings and panic, the three young men were about to move the canoe together so that the boat would get faster and stay away from the place. But had not had time to pedal the boat more pages, something surprised the three of them.

”Awas!” lorr En shouted, pointing towards the front of the boat. From behind the fog, suddenly the shadow of a giant ship, accompanied by a loud bang and hit the boat on which the three young men were riding.

Bang!!!

A lump of fire iron landed hard. The side of the tree boat was instantly destroyed.

”Aaaargh!”

The three young people on the boat, cornered fell to the end because the boat was flying.

”What is this?” Neirra was very surprised, realizing the side of the boat was destroyed and the water began to flood into the boat.

Taja put his eyesight on. The dense fog in front of him slowly seemed real to look at. The iron balls of fire were next, hurtling towards the boat.

”Awaaas!” Taja pulled Lorr En and Neirra and jumped off the boat. Just as the boat was hit by iron balls of fire.

Bru!!!

The boat was blown to pieces. Leave debris.

”Bah!” Lorr En first came to the surface. The Taja. Fortunately they survive on floating wood debris.

”What just destroyed our boat?” Lorr En wave, embossed drowned many times because his body was heavier than the wood backrest.

Under the shadow of the giant ship, Taja and Lorr En looked up. The appearance of the giant ship was accompanied by trumpet echoes, almost grinding the two young people floating.

”Awaaas!!” Taja gave the command to dive into the water. Lorr En and Neirra.

Not long after, Taja came to the surface again.

”Neirra! Lorr!” Taja called two friends while looking around the surface of the water. Suddenly his body was pushed up. It was like someone was heading in the water. It turns out that Lorr En showed up.

”Where is Neirra?” Lorr En realized someone was not with them.

Taja and Lorr En dyed in all directions. But had not been able to get away from the floating position on the spot, appeared two other large ships and surrounded the two young people.

”Neirra!” Taja could not help but shout when he saw it up there, Neirra's body wriggling in a net hanging was being pulled onto a large ship.

Taja and Lorr En looked up, along the banks of the great ships had stood many people in uniform. Their looks were ruthless and of great stature, being on standby with their respective weapons. Between them threw huge nets, right towards the two children below him.

Without having time to dodge, very quickly large nets ensnared the two bodies of the young brother and were pulled onto the ship. Up there, there were boisterous cheers the people welcomed.

”Three catches!”

Exclaimed someone who seemed to be quite feared, carrying a steel spear and the dull armor he was wearing. The way he walked, approaching the children was thrown to the deck floor. The rusty iron boots, getting closer. But his face is not clearly visible because of the masked. Only his pair of eyes looked haunted, observing the young ones caught in the net in a drenched state.

”Chairman arrives soon!” exclaim a crewman from the bridge. Then greeted the busyness of each crew and let the young children lying in the middle of the floor of the ship.

”What are those humans doing to us?” lorr En asked somewhat in a whisper while throwing alternating glances at his two friends.

Some of the crew whistled, broke up occasionally and said, ”We'll harvest tomorrow morning!” there was another laugh as well.

”Taja!”

Neirra was suffocated after seeing Taja's leg hurt from being scratched by a stringed net. Lorr En saw that. It looks so limp. Slowly Taja bowed until he finally stumbled to the floor and was unconscious. It turned out, not just the wound on his leg made him bleed. An arrow stuck in Taja's back.

”Taja!” lorr En exclaimed and invited the attention of the crew. Among them, a crewman wearing a worn-out mask approached the three young men.

”Release us!” lorr En cried in a language that sounded foreign and not understood by the crew.

”Since this kid sizzled. Very noisy!” they said they looked at each other while watching the three children take turns. Conversations in language not understood foreign, only cause hissing sounds to each other.

”They speak what language?” others were also astonished.

”Release us!” Lorr En thrashed in a net entangling his body firmly. The crew did not understand the meaning, concluding on their own.

”Hey, Young people! Where are you guys from?” ask someone most burly while closer to Lorr En is under the shadow of the figure was a large height. Lorr En stared back at the pair of glaring eyes behind the mask. A spear was pointed directly at Lorr En's neck.

”Release us!” shouted Lorr En once again. But that person actually swung his fist and threw all his might into Lorr En's head.

”Lorr En!” neirra shouted as he saw Lorr En instantly limp to unconsciousness after a single loud fist smashed into his head.

”What are you doing? Who are you and what do you want?!” Neirra wanted to thrash, but the entanglement of the nets was too strong to entrap him. Even Neirra's skin was scratched. The masked man turned to him.

One fist followed to Neirra's forehead. The sky was bright, suddenly dark.
