4.24. Spirit Valley
”Have you heard about the book of Muhaqqina and Wadhesi?” ask Chairman Sujinsha to change. Taja recalled for a while having heard a little about the names from Mr. Black Dog, but he chose not to answer.
”Two legendary relics from Three Satria in the form of the most powerful magic book and very large risk. Now the books are in the hands of the Tanapura witches and means they will probably be overpowered by all!”
He remained silent in his mind about the two books before asking again.
”How strong are those two books?” ask Taja.
”The book was able to bring rain, crack mountains, raise corpses and the dead, and ...,” had not yet had time for Chairman Sujinsha to explain more, Mr. Birwa came hastily and interrupted their conversation.
”Enemy moves from two directions to here, Chairman!” report Mr. Birwa firmly, in a hurry to save his panic.
Chief Sujinsha got up and immediately ran towards the highest rock peak that was around to be able to see how far the enemy was moving in question.

Everything was suddenly tense when it realized that quickly the enemy was moving and was fixed to their position from three directions at once.
Chairman Sujinsha also did not have time to think long. He quickly unrolled the old map from the skin that had been repeatedly used as a reference. Three soldiers helped find the safest passageway that could be read from the blind map. However only Chairman Sujinsha last decided the only unexpected open direction beforehand as an exit.
”We're to the southwest!” his eyes pointed to the panorama behind them.where a vast field under the foot of a thick misty mountain.
”Only insanity..which forces us to go there ...,” said Mr. Birwa rather trepid. While all were looking in the same direction in the precarious situation in the midst of that confusion, they were still not sure that the direction that Chairman Sujinsha had pointed to was because there was no other choice.
”Down Sam Yaz?!” almost every soldier mentioned that name. Their faces also imply a sense of reluctance due to fear and doubt..
Taja, Lorr En and Raojhin also looked in that direction. Far down there, it did seem very foggy as far as the eye could see. Nothing was caught clearly by the vision behind the roaring thick dust, chasing after the sweeping night wind. But slowly then, a glimpse and vagueness of the fog that was revealed, far away from them at this moment, seemed the tops of the towers that were half-sinking at the foot of the southwest sky.
”Current Yaz?” I don't know the name of the foreign area yet. Lorr En did not understand why Chairman Sujinsha's troops suddenly felt reluctant to head there.
”History calls it the Valley of the Spirits,” whispered Raojhin to nearby Taja and Lorr En, making the view as wide as the dark mist seem even more sinister.
”Wait for what else? Move soon!!” the Chairman exclamation first triggered the movement of the troops. Without any more protest, all followed. Two warriors each immediately piggybacked Lorr En and Raojhin to their horse saddles. Coincidentally Taja got a spot on Mr. Birwa's horse, they moved just behind Chairman Sujinsha before the others tailed.
”Quick!” Chief Sujinsha sped up his horse's run first. His army was also triggered even faster.
The two soldiers at the very end of the line kept their eyes on the rear. While Chairman Sujinsha and Mr. Birwa, the very front escorts a slow horse race through the sandy area there. In addition to the occasional dark snake scare the motion of their horses, the sand there deepened every time the legs of the horse stepped on it.

”Quick get off your horses!!” chief Sujinsha shouted and first he did so before his horse experienced the same thing.
The hick of dozens of horses shrieked repeatedly in panic. Many are moving away. There are also those who can still get out of the sand and the rest drown in the sucking dry sand.
”Avoid areas of sand that look blacker!!” chief Sujinsha shouted again to all his troops to avoid each area like circular sand and darker in color. No matter what their efforts, the atmosphere was too dark to act alert by relying on eye sight alone.
”Home?” several soldiers panicked as their horses ran and turned around.
”Let them get back on the road again, they definitely know the way home!” sahut Chairman Sujinsha, ”We can walk all the way there!”
The atmosphere returned to silence without the roar of the horse. Finally, they continued on foot.
”Enlighten your steps and don't rowdy!” sounding like a command as well as advice, Chief Sujinsha was still at the very front guiding the steps.
”Why go southwest if it is not safe, Mister?” Taja was led by Mr. Birwa to dare to ask that. No less tense as others feel worried too after seeing the recent incident that hit several horses mired and sucked in sand.
Without an answer, Taja was increasingly curious.
”Spirit Valley, how dangerous?” astonished Taja threw whispers since earlier at Raojhin on the left of a soldier who was also holding him. But the child just shrugged with a tense expression.
Every now and then we hear Lorr En's babble worrying about ourselves, ”Are we going to be safe until Tanapura?” and all replied with his silence.
”We are heading ...,” Raojhin is in doubt about his own estimate. When Taja's questioning eyes turned to him, Raojhin immediately fell silent as Chairman Sujinsha's fingers closed the boy's lips.
