The charm of Mr. De Luca

The charm of Mr. De Luca
The Important Mission

Matteo sat on the floor leaning his body against the wall. He began to think about what steps he would take next. He should make a plan as mature as possible. Matteo must not act rashly as he already has.

The night is getting late. All the lights inside the modest tavern had been turned off, when Mia left from there. Matteo is now alone in the dimness. The barn, illuminated only by a small yellow lamp. Matteo felt that he was in the sewers. He also had to struggle with the uncomfortable aroma that was mixed, from the herbs and various spices that were there.

Slowly, Matteo closed his eyes. He wanted to rest after such a hard and painful day. Luckily, the bullet from his arm had been successfully removed even though he had to struggle with extreme pain.

Matteo sat leaning back while hugging Mia's favorite pillow. Slowly he inhaled the fragrant aroma that was attached to the pillow. The fragrance was the same as the scent he breathed from Mia's hair.

Matteo repeatedly shook his head. He refused that. He did not want to think about the girl, because right now women and love are not his main targets. The only thing he wanted to do was to take revenge, and prevent him from having his weapons imitated by the Moriarty Clan.

It didn't take Matteo too long to fall asleep. Now the man was asleep, even though he was sitting and leaning against the wall. He did not even realize that the night had changed with the morning.

Matteo immediately opened his eyes when he heard a voice from the front of the tavern. He sharpened his hearing and immediately got up. As much as possible, it does not make any sound. Matteo then closed his body against the wall. He must be careful not to let his presence in the store known to others besides Mia.

Sayup-sayup, Matteo heard footsteps toward the warehouse. The man began to think. At that time the atmosphere was still quite dark. Then who came that early?

Matteo grew more alert, especially as the sound of the move came closer and closer. Eventually he saw someone standing nearby. A person wearing a jacket with a head covering that hides his face.

Immediately, Matteo pulled the person and twisted his hand backwards. He also held the person's neck with his arms until the person's face was slightly raised.

Soon, however, Matteo loosened his lock when he heard a soft familiar voice in his ear. “Mia?” call Matteo half-whispering.

“You hurt me, Theo,” lamented the beautiful girl.

“Ma-forgive me. I thought you were someone else,” Matteo immediately released his grip from the neck of Mia's level. “Are you hurt?” Theo brings her face closer to the girl, observing in detail, every inch of Mia's neck and wrists.

The brown-eyed girl could only be stunned. His cheeks turned reddish as he stared at the depths of Matteo's gray eyes that were quite close to him. Even he could clearly feel Matteo's breath sweeping across his face.

“A-I brought you breakfast. Sorry if it's too early. I only had time to deliver it now, because I have to go to campus,” said Mia while rewind her body. He then picked up the food box that had fallen when Matteo's burly hands curled it.

“Oh, no! What have I done to you? I'm sorry, Mia,” regrets Matteo.

“It's okay. How many times did Mr. Matteo have to apologize to me,” jokes Mia while giggling amusedly. He handed the box to Matteo.

“You cook for me?” ask Matteo gently.

“Secalian. I also always cook lunch for a break on campus later. Much more economical than I had to spend a few euros in the cafeteria,” said the girl innocently. Matteo smiled faintly hearing that. He also nodded slowly.

“Are you not afraid of me, Mia?” just ask Matteo. That question had stunned Mia for a moment.

Mia nodded slowly. Again he showed off his smile. “I believe in you,”. “Despite ...” he hung his sentence just like that.

“Although your shorthand features are exactly the same as those of the killer that the witness posted on Breaking News on the local channel last night,” continued Mia quietly. “Moreover your grip feels so strong and a little painful, showing that you are not an ordinary man,”.

Matteo gasped for a moment. He regained control of his emotions and emotions within seconds. “What makes you believe me?” tanyanya.

The girl did not answer. Mia only blushed in embarrassment while shrugging her shoulders. “I have to go, or dad will suspect me," closed Mia. He rushed out of the warehouse and closed the door quietly.

Mia held onto her chest which still felt like it was pounding irregularly, while leaning her back against the door. How could he answer Matteo's question? It was obviously impossible if he had to tell the truth, to the stranger that he had fallen in love with her.

“You fool, Mia!” he swore to himself. “Only a fool falls in love so easily, in a matter of hours anyway,” grumbled.

“Mia?” someone's call made the girl jump in shock. “Dad!” yells.

“What's dad doing here?” mia asked in surprise.

“It should be Dad who asks you like that,” protest Mr. Gio.

“Eh, I-I'm checking the supplies of materials, Dad. All of you I will stop by the market later after college,” the excuse of Mia stamped.

"This spring?” Mr. Gio looked astonished. The man's eyes showed a suspicious look at his beloved daughter. "All right!" continued Mr. Gio was doubtful.

Mia smiled gently despite being a little anxious. Inwardly, Mia prayed that her father would not open the barn and find someone she had hidden inside.

“What else are you waiting for, Mia?” Mr. Gio did not turn to the store. While Mia herself was also waiting for the movement of the father.

“I ... waiting for Dad. I'll help clear the shop for a while. I still have about fifteen minutes,” to Mia. He immediately pulled his father's arm and dragged him to the front of the shop.

From inside the barn, Matteo listened carefully to everything the girl had said, from the moment Mia closed the door, to taking her father away. The handsome man exhaled a long breath. “Fall in love?” muttered.

There was a faint smile from those thin lips. Then, his mind floated back to yesterday, just before meeting Mia. He was forced to finish off the life of one of Silvio's men who was caught following him.

Silvio's men almost shot him. Luckily Matteo realized it first. Matteo squinted and dodged. He is still shrewd even though he is injured.

After that, Matteo recklessly lunged at Silvio's men's bodies and seized his weapon. Matteo then shot his kirin chest. He didn't want to take any chances if Silvio knew of his current whereabouts.

After all, if Matteo had not killed the man, then it was certain that the corpse was floating in the river and entered on local television.

Matteo has not yet admitted defeat. He will not die that easily, especially because he carries an important mission now. The mission that makes it must continue to focus, although honestly if the current concentration is slightly divided. Matteo must admit, he also thought of a gadia named Mia.
