Coco stopped her motorbike in front of the building where Francesca lived. It was about eleven o'clock at night. Coco took off her helmet, while Francesca immediately went down and tidied up her disheveled hair. For a moment, Coco looked back at the young girl with her calm smile. He put his hand on the helmet he kept on the tank.
“Do you have a spare key?” coco asked, since it was too late.
“I once came home very late, when the celebration of the new year's night. Everyone in the house was asleep. However, Mia was waiting for me. He also opened the door for me. He didn't complain to my father,” Francesca said with her song.
“Mia is so good, huh? You should have looked after him,” Coco said. He now sees the other side of a Francesca. Behind all her insolence, it turns out Francesca is still a young girl who is still innocent. “How old are you, Francy?” the question just came out of Coco's mouth. The man also did not take his eyes off the sweet face of the young girl before him.
Francesca was silent for a moment. However, there was no reason for her to hide her age from Coco. “Eighteen years old,” replied the girl with some hesitation. “I know, for you I must be just a boy. Yes, right?” there was a regretful tone from the girl's words.
Coco smiled knot. Before responding to a remark from Francesca, he turned his head in the other direction, where he saw the mysterious man had just returned to the building where he had rented. “Come, Francy! It's too late,” tell Coco. The curiosity to investigate the mysterious man had already tickled his heart greatly. Coco couldn't stand the action anymore.
“Alright,” says Francesca slowly. “Thank you for taking me home, and thank you also for the treat,” the girl continued.
Coco nodded slowly while smiling. “Lain times I buy again if you want,” reply. His mind began to unfocus. Coco wants to go home and investigate the man. “Quick in! Pity if Mia has to wait for you too long,” tell Coco again.
Francesca smiled slightly. He also nodded slowly. After that, Francesca then turned her body and began to step towards the door. Before actually entering, he turned back to Coco and waved his hand. Coco replied with a slow nod. After Francesca disappeared behind the door of the building, Coco immediately turned her motorbike and entered the residential building she had rented.
The curly-haired man immediately parked his motorbike. Coco saw the motor the man was using was also there. Immediately, the brown-eyed man climbed a row of steps leading to the second floor.
On the second floor there are four rooms facing each other. On each side there are two rooms, one of which is the room that Coco rented. For a moment, the twenty-six-year-old man watched one by one the doors of the room that was there.
His gaze was fixed on the door of the most corner room on the right side. Coco stepped towards the room. For some reason, he sensed that it was the room he suspected of being the residence of the mysterious man earlier. However, it was already too late, so Coco could not confirm it directly. He did not want to cause an uproar, which would disturb the calm of the other residents of the place.
Coco decided to return to her room before she heard a conversation in Spanish. The voice that Coco heard was indeed not very clear. In addition, he also did not understand what the man in there was talking about. However, one thing is certain if his instincts do not miss.
There was nothing Coco could do then, other than return to her room and wait until tomorrow morning. After opening the door and turning on the lights, Coco did not immediately go to the room, she chose to stand by the window. As usual, the man observed the building of a two-story house in front of the building he was living in.
She saw that Mia's room light was still on. Not long after, the girl came out while carrying a cup of mugs, I don't know what they contained. The girl looked so sad, her eyes glaring towards the highway below. His elbow rests on the balcony railing while holding the mug with both hands. At first glance, the girl's eyes were fixed on Coco's bedroom window. Soon Coco hid by the side of the window and sneaked off the switch.
Feeling safe with the dark, Coco again observed Mia who was still pensive, while occasionally sipping a drink from inside the mug. His phone was always on standby in hand, to record Mia's face. “Look, Amico. Though he had just received a man's proposal, but not a single bit of his face looked happy. What are you going to do after this?” mumbling Coco. He then sent the video to Matteo.
For a while, Coco waited for a reply from Matteo. But he didn't get it either. Coco waits until she falls asleep by the window.
Another case with Coco, Matteo is still awake on his bedroom bed. His drowsiness evaporated when he saw the video that had just been sent by Coco. Plus the recording of his best friend's voice that further adds to his mind. “What should I do?” muttered.
“I just don't want to put you in danger, Mia. I don't want you to end up like my parents,” Matteo still keeps talking to himself, inching to the edge of the bed. He still continues to be in that position until he does not feel the clock continues to walk towards the morning.
Coco got up while holding her lower back, then turned her body to the left and right sides. Sleeping in a chair makes her uncomfortable. But he doesn't care about that. His goal now was to drink a glass of water, then rush to the room again to prove his suspicions.
Coco came out of her room. He tried his best not to make a sound. Arriving at the intended room, he pulled out a small folding knife from behind the arm of his shirt. Coco inserted the tip of the knife into the keyhole.
It took him a few minutes to successfully unlock it. After succeeding, Coco opened the door carefully.
The knife is in a position ready for use. Alert, Coco stepped in and checked space by space. Unfortunately, there was nothing there. The people he suspected no longer existed. The items inside the apartment looked clean and tidy, like they had never been used.
Undesperate, Coco searches for objects that might be used as clues for her, to find out the identity of the mysterious men. However, Coco did not manage to find anything. He finally decided to leave the apartment room, but his eyes were fixed on a card lying just under the table.
Coco picked it up from the floor and read it. An access card is required to enter the campus area where Mia studied. “Hmm, they don't look like college students. Do they work as janitors or do they intend to follow the girl?” he muttered to himself. His brain thought so hard that he didn't realize someone had opened the door and looked at him suspiciously.
“Who are you?” the voice cried out so loudly.
Coco was aghast and looked up. Almost he threw the figure using his folding knife, but managed to hold it when he found out that someone was a middle-aged woman who was a thick-bodied owner of the apartment. “Ah, good morning, Signora. Forgive me for entering this place without permission. I just meant to reprimand them, for having disturbed my sleep last night,” said.
“They've not been here since early morning! They say goodbye to me while handing over the keys! So, how did you get in here?” ask the woman.
“Ah, the door was already open when I entered. Maybe they didn't lock it properly,” Coco's pretext as she grimaced and rubbed her head.
“Come out now!” tell the woman.
“Quiet, Signora. Alright, I'll be out right now,” Coco raised her hand and blinked one eye. He walked away from the woman who was still watching him, until Coco entered his room.
Inside the room, Coco stopped and pulled out a cell phone. He typed in a message to Matteo and told him that he might not be returning to Brescia anytime soon. Coco says she still has to take care of something important in Venice. However, Coco did not elaborate overtly. He felt that he had to say it directly.
I don't know why, because his feelings are different. Coco seemed to get a bad feeling telling her to stay there. Back to the building where Mia lives. He occasionally sipped a drink from the bottle, answering an incoming call from Matteo.
"I woke up bad luck. Last night I couldn't sleep," Matteo's heavy voice came from across.
"What are you going to do now, Amico?" coco asked as she sipped her drink
