The charm of Mr. De Luca

The charm of Mr. De Luca
Last Hug's

Mr. Gio was quite surprised to see Matteo's presence there. For a long time he had not seen the existence of the long-haired man. "Theo, are you here?" tanyanya on the sidelines of the sadness and sorrow for the departure of the beloved wife.

Matteo nodded slowly, a head movement that was visible only in passing. However, Matteo also had a slight smile on the corner of his lips.

"Theo brought me here, Father," said Mia somewhat hesitantly. That made Mr. Gio immediately turned his eyes to himself. Likewise with Daniella, who had had a sense of interest in Matteo. The girl still looked cynical, despite being in a state of mourning.

"You're getting married to Valentino soon, but you're still meeting another man, Mia? That's incredible!" cibir Daniella with ketus.

"I see Mia walking alone these nights, it's only natural that I don't have the initiative to give her a ride?"  interpose Matteo with his sharp gaze to Daniella. The man seemed to be helping Mia in the face of the unfriendly attitude that her half-sister always showed.

"By, Theo! I know you," Daniella argued.

"Stop, Dani! We're in mourning, should you discuss such a matter?" sergeant Mia. He immediately grabbed the shoulder of Francesca who was then approaching and squandered into his arms. Francesca was crying incessantly. She was devastated by Magdalene's departure, as the girl had been so spoiled for her mother.

Daniella again shows a sneer to Mia. Daniella then leaned her body against the wall of the room. He folded his left hand straight at the chest, and he made it as a support for his right hand. Daniella scratched her forehead with that right hand. A moment later, the girl with the flashy makeup sobbed. The pain of his mother's departure, he could not escape.

While Matteo just stood glued watching those who were grieving. Three girls with a middle-aged man who both tear up from the loss of a loved one. Matteo, too, experienced the same thing. That feeling must not be much different from what he experienced some time ago, when he heard the news of his parents' death.

"Mia!" the sound of Valentino just appeared there. The young man immediately approached Mia and was unaware of Matteo's presence there. Immediately, he hugged Mia. While Mia, could only cast her nanarrow towards Matteo who now preferred to step back, then turned around and left from there. That made the pain in Mia's heart grow. He kept staring at Matteo's departure until the man was nowhere to be seen.

"I'm sorry I just got here" Valentino said, letting go of his embrace.

"It's okay, Vale. Thank you for coming," replied Mia. He then approached Mr. Gio and sat down nearby. Mia embraced the father who was just sitting down in a bowed position.

Next day. After all the matters of returning the body from the hospital had been completed, Magdalene's body was immediately taken to the funeral home to be buried. Some close relatives came to worship. They wanted to see the beautiful face of the former opera artist, for the last time. By late afternoon, Magdalene's body was taken to the cemetery.

Mr. Gio had no power to hold haru, when the coffin began to be put into the burrow. The man closed his eyes. He could not see that his beloved had to be buried alone in the coffin. Besides, Mia and the two daughters of Magdalene were also powerless when they saw it. Francesca kept crying. While Mia, trying to look tough. He grabbed the sister's shoulder and continued to gently stroke her hair. Daniella just stood there.

Valentino stood by Mr. Gio and continued to hold the arm of his future father-in-law. A few meters behind the crowd that accompanied the funeral procession of the late Magdalene, stood a handsome man with his black coat. His pair of gray eyes could not be separated from watching the crowd.

Matteo, though, accidentally attends the funeral, unbeknownst to Mia. Flat and cold, the look on his face looked expressionless at all. Until the funeral was over and all the mourners had dispersed, Matteo was still standing in his place in a position that had not changed. He put both his hands in his coat pocket. Meanwhile, his eyes began to move and sweep every corner of the neatly arranged and beautiful burial area. Matteo seemed to be on guard and lurking whenever something seemed suspicious to him.

"Dad, let's go home" Mia asked. He grabbed Mr.'s arm. Gio who was still standing pegged near the tomb of the wife.

"I still want to be here, Mia," replied Mr. Gio with flat. His gaze seemed very empty at that moment.

"Come, Dad! We have to go home!" take Daniella with a slightly firm tone. Although Mr. Gio was still glued to his place.

"Master, I'm so sorry," a heavy voice came from behind that Mia was very familiar with, making the girl turn her head immediately. He saw Matteo standing behind them with his usual face.

"What are you doing here?" ask Valentino. He immediately advanced and stood before Matteo. The young man did not like it when he saw Matteo's presence there. However, Mia immediately pulled the arm of her future husband back backwards. While Matteo still looks calm he is not affected by the attitude that Valentino shows towards him.

“Grazie, Giovanotto,” reply Mr. Gio sincere. His pair of old eyes looked at Matteo's countenance. Unknowingly, Mr. Gio stretched out and patted the beautiful man's shoulder. “I ...” greeting Mr. Gio. He glanced at Mia.

After his daughter left, Mr. Gio directed his gaze back at Matteo while looking at Mia's figure. “What is holding you back from my daughter?” ask Mr. Gio flat without further ado.

Matteo was immediately shocked. He just fell silent, then looked down. Moments later, Matteo looked up and gave a slight smile. “I'm not a good man for Mia, Sir,” she replied slowly.

“Why don't you let Mia decide for herself what's good or not for her? You don't want to try?”

Again, Matteo just smiled. Want it to feel he revealed to the authoritative man, if he was not as good as Mr. Gio look. His soul is covered in sin. His hands were stained with blood, from the lives of those he had killed. Matteo, feels unworthy to be with the holy Mia.

“Valentino is a great guy. I believe he can protect Mia well,” Matteo said in the end.

Mr. Gio took a deep breath. “I saw it, Young Man. The way my daughter looked at you, just like my late first wife looked at me. Highlight the eyes full of admiration, which you will not find behind the gazes of other girls. Just once for someone. So, when that person leaves and you find another love, I'm sure that another love can never be the same as before. Think before regret,” advice Mr. Gio long wide.

The advice was so penetrated into Matteo's heart. He seemed to find an oasis in the middle of his arid and hard life.

“Behind her meek nature, Mia-ku is a strong girl and firm stance. When she becomes Valentino's wife, there is no room for you. Mia will carry out her role well as a wife and close the door of her heart to you,”. Gio.

He patted Matteo's sturdy shoulder, before he left the young man. Matteo was pensive for a long time, until the soft voice of a girl who jerked his daydream. “You're still here?” ask the girl.

Matteo turned his head and turned his head. “You all right, Mia?” Matteo asked back.

“For the moment I'm not okay. But life certainly goes on. This sadness will change. Nothing is eternal, Theo. You know, don't you?” sindir Mia while smiling sweetly.

Matteo just smiled a little. He approached Mia. “I hope this is your last sorrow,” he said. Carefully Matteo pointed her hand at Mia's cheek which felt very smooth.

Mia closed her eyes feeling that touch. “In two months I'm getting married,” whispered Mia down.

“Hopefully happy,” says Matteo, flat and cold.

Mia opened her eyes again and fused her eyebrows together, indicating that she did not agree with Matteo's response. “That's it, Theo? You don't want to do anything?”

“What can I do for you, Mia? Valentino is the best man for you,” Matteo said.

“You don't want to prevent it?” urge Mia. His words were so straightforward, hinting at the burden in his heart.

“Marriage is not a game. Anyway, I can't promise you anything. Honestly, Mia. You don't deserve to be in my life. Every day, I deal with danger. Every day, my life is full of pressure. I don't want to add to my burden. Understand!” matteo.

A speck of pain dripped in the corner of Mia's eyes. Again, Matteo uttered a painful sentence for her. The girl shook her head. He doesn't understand it at all. “Didn't you say a few days ago that you loved me so much and would have prevented my marriage? Why are you changing now? Plin-plan once you, Theo!” hardik Mia's.

“I'm sure you're much safer and happier without me, Bella,” Matteo doesn't heed Mia's anger. He landed a kiss on Mia's forehead. He also hugged Mia warmly and long. After which, Matteo outlined his embrace. He then started to step up and left Mia who was still fixated.

“Yes, this is much better. Not only my wife, your life is threatened. Especially if you're with me. I won't be able to see you get hurt, Mia," Matteo said in his heart.
