“The young man looks reliable. I think he can take good care of your girl. You'd better get your business done right away, then you go to that sweet guy and tell him your true feelings. As a friend, I feel sad to see you languish for love,” Coco said. As usual, he always slipped an insignificant chant in every conversation he had with Matteo.
Matteo complained quietly. “I don't want to do anything yet, man. My parents' departure was so sudden, especially after I found out if my life was their target,” Matteo regretted.
“Already, friend. Don't regret everything that happened. Everything that happens to us is a way of life that we must accept. I want to see you live in peace, man. As I said before,” Coco said. He intended to ignite his cigarette, when there was a man who suddenly descended the stairs in a hurry.
The man accidentally nudged Coco's arm, until he dropped the match he was holding. Coco turned to the tall man. While the man only raised his right hand to the chest, as a sign of apology. Coco responded with a slow nod.
The man was riding a motorbike parked not far from Coco's motorbike. He saw the man get out on his motorcycle. Coco even saw the license plate of the motorcycle she was wearing even though it was just a glance.
The bottom of the building is devoted to the parking area for the residents there. While on the second floor there are several rooms that are usually rented monthly. Coco is going back to Brescia tomorrow. He felt there was nothing to worry about from Mia. After all, Coco was uncomfortable from having to be a stalker of a girl.
“I'll be home tomorrow afternoon. However, I will stop by for a while at the workshop. There is something I have to take from there,” Coco said as she walked into her rented room.
“If you feel no problem there, just go home. Anyway, I also want to talk to you about something that I can't possibly talk about over the phone,” Matteo said.
“What's up? Don't tell me if you miss me,” Coco chirped with a laugh that wasn't too loud. As usual, he stood by the window enjoying a cigarette.
Just then, Coco looked at Mia who seemed to be about to leave. Mia stood at the door of her house and seemed to be circulating her gaze in all directions. It seems like he is waiting for someone. Sure enough, not long ago Valentino came with his matic scooter.
The young man looked extremely radiant, as Mia greeted him with a smile. Valentino got off the matic scooter he was riding. He stood in front of Mia, then fitted a helmet for the girl. Mia did not reject him at all. The girl smiled sweetly, even as Valentino pinched both of her cheeks in a fit of anxiety.
“Uh, Theo. You're not gonna like this. Your girl looks happy,” Coco said with a pushy look she addressed to Mia. It seemed, Coco's instinct as a man who had known women with various characters, was working at the time. Coco observed the expression Mia showed in front of Valentino.
“What's Mia with that young man?” matteo's voice rang out Coco's daydream.
“Yes. They look friendly and seem to be leaving,” Coco replied lightly. While Matteo prefers not to respond to the words of his best friend.
Coco sees Mia shaking hands with Valentino. However, Coco's attention was instantly distracted by the man on the motorcycle who immediately followed the pair as they left. Coco felt something was off with the man. Without saying anything, Coco immediately hung up her phone. He ran out and down a row of stairs to the parking lot. Coco turned on her sports bike and immediately slid through the streets of Venice.
At full speed, Coco tried to chase the bike he suspected was following Mia and Valentino. Fortunately the condition of the road at that time was not crowded, so Coco could drive her iron horse to the maximum.
After a while, he finally saw the motorcycle was a few meters in front of him. Coco's estimate didn't miss. The man had indeed deliberately followed Mia and Valentino. He came to a stop when the two lovebirds also stopped at their destination, Piazza San Marco.
Valentino deliberately took Mia there. He wanted to invite the girl to see the opening ceremony of Venice Carnaval. It was the most prestigious masquerade in the world, usually held forty days before Easter.
Venice Carnaval will be held for ten days or even up to weeks. The participants usually wear costumes called 17th century venetian dresses and of course with unique masks. There are two types of masks used, namely Bauta and Volto or Larva.
For a moment, the mysterious man watched Mia and Valentino. I don't know what it means to do that. Coco has to find out who the man is. It will not be difficult for Coco, because the mysterious man also lives in the same building as her.
They were in that place long enough. In the end, Mia and Valentino visited a cafe not far from Piazza San Marco. Cafes with a very comfortable vintage feel.
Coco chose a table adjacent to the table that Mia and Valentino chose. He even sat right behind the chair the girl was sitting on. The mysterious man sat behind Valentino.
“You like Mia? We never miss this event every time. I'm glad it's. I hope, we can always see it together,” Valentino said with a radiant face. A happy smile did not come off and continued to adorn his lips. As for Mia, just smilingly responded to him.
“Mia, I'm glad that you finally want to be the Mia you used to be,” Valentino continued.
“I'm just trying to make peace with the situation,” said Mia slowly while looking down. However, Coco could still clearly hear the soft voice.
“Good, Mia. I'm sure as time goes by, the wound will disappear,” said Vale.
Mia looked up slightly and let the tears that began to drip back into her eyes.
“What is your relationship to the extent?” just ask Vale.
Mia looked straight ahead. He looked up and looked empty. A faint smile rose from his lips. No answer came out of there. The girl instead re-imagined the last night she spent with Matteo. He remembered every detail of the incident at the time.
Mia was even still able to clearly remember the scent of the man's body. Every sweat that dripped and stuck to her smooth skin, every kiss that landed on her, Mia could still feel it, as if it had just happened. The longer, Mia dissolves more and more in her daydreams about Matteo.
“Mia?” Valentino frowned at Mia's slightly strange behavior.
While Mia was a little jolted at Valentino's call that instantly disperse all her beautiful daydreams. “Ah .. sorry, Vale! I just got carried away,”.
Valentino didn't care what Mia was thinking at the time, because he didn't ask her. “Marry me!” valentino said suddenly. He held Mia's hand on the table.
“What?” mia's throat seemed to be choked to hear it. The girl was surprised not to play. Mia became a club.
“In two months we will graduate. After that, I want to marry you. I really want to make you happy, Mia. Give me a chance,” pinta Valentino earnestly.
