The charm of Mr. De Luca

The charm of Mr. De Luca
Bad Morning's

Just as Matteo was about to start his jeep engine, suddenly Damiano was standing in front of the spacious garage. He looked in wonder at his foster son. “Where are you going, son?” scream loud.

Matteo looked out of the side window and squinted his eyes. “I'll pick up Mia,” she replied.

“Nights like this? Can't you wait until tomorrow morning?” Damiano looked astonished as he walked closer to his foster son.

“I should see the state of Mia immediately. Zucca told me earlier, she said Mia was sick. I can't stand by, even though Mia has forbidden me from looking for her there,” Matteo said. Without saying anything more, the gray-eyed man immediately started the car engine that had paused.

“Bawa Mia home. Don't leave him out there alone. You should be aware of her position as your wife, son. You are indeed at the top of the clan. All the small organizations are subject to your rule. But that doesn't mean you're safe. How many people secretly want to take your position. Stay alert, Son!” Damiano patted Matteo's shoulder slowly. Then he took a few steps back. Damiano made room for the man to drive his vehicle so fast, and split the silence in the plantation area.

Matteo drove his beloved black jeep by not reducing the speed in the slightest. He did not care though that Mia would refuse or perhaps get angry, because Matteo had come to him there. The man just wanted to make sure the state of the wife who was very worried about him.

A few hours into the journey, Matteo finally arrived in Rome. It was late night, almost towards the early hours of the morning. There he met Zucca who immediately told him about everything he had observed all day.

“The guy hasn't been out of the restaurant all day. However, the sister of Madam de Luca closed her restaurant faster, after which I saw the madam come out with a very pale-looking face,”. “However, it seems that the mistress did not check herself to the doctor. Since returning from the restaurant, I have not seen him come out of the apartment building again,” continued the big tall man.

Matteo nodded slowly. He then turned his gaze to the thirty-story tall building, where one of the rooms he had bought for Daniella and Francesca. It was deliberately done because Matteo has not managed to find the whereabouts of Alex and a colleague. It would be too dangerous if he let the two girls back into their old apartment.

Matteo spent the night in his car until morning came. Uncommanded, Zucca brought him a one-cup espresso breakfast with a slice of sandwich bread. Matteo soon filled his stomach, as he also did not have time to eat dinner before departing from Brescia.

At about eight in the morning, Matteo sees Daniella taking Mia out of her apartment building. That's exactly what Zucca said. His wife looked weak with a pale face. With a quick movement, Matteo jumped out of the car and walked up to the two young women. While Zucca kept an eye out from the steering wheel side seat.

“What happened to you, Mia? Are you sick?” without further ado, Matteo immediately asked while aligning his steps with the steps of his wife. Observing Mia's beautiful face that clearly shows that she is in a state of not okay.

Mia and Daniella instantly flinched and turned their heads simultaneously. “Theo? What are you doing here?” Mia could not hide her surprise.

“Daniella, can you leave us a minute? I want to talk to my wife,” pinta Matteo with a little compassionate tone.

“Fixed here, Dani!” prevent Mia from shrill while gripping her half-sister's wrist.

“Please, Dani,” Matteo won't lose.

Daniella looks confused. He looked at Mia and Matteo in turn. However, in the end he preferred to obey Matteo. “You guys talk. Finish everything before we go to the doctor,” he said carefully. Without waiting for Mia's approval, Daniella soon passes from the side of the sister who is silent on the sidewalk. Daniella chose to cross the road first.

“You went to the doctor? So, you're really sick? Why didn't you tell me?” lecar Matteo who can't hide his disappointment.

“What am I telling people who no longer care about me?” reply Mia with a grunt.

“Who doesn't care about you, Cara Mia? I even asked Zucca to follow you all the way here. I'm so worried about you. After all, you said yourself that you didn't want to be disturbed,” to Matteo.

Mia grunted in annoyance. “That's why I don't want to see your face now, Theo. Go home! Meet your lover!” throw it away with a sulking face.

“I won't be home until you come with me!” firmly Matteo.

“Then I will force,” hissed Matteo while bringing his face closer to Mia. His breath swept across the surface of Mia's face until the beautiful woman closed her eyes. “You have no right to force me,” said Mia in a vibrating voice.

“Why not? It's obvious I'm perfectly entitled to do so, because I'm your husband!” Matteo reached out and gently stroked Mia's cheeks which she had longed for so much over these past few hours.

“You can think of me as crazy and exaggerated, Mia. Ever since you said goodbye to leaving, ever since then I've been so unable to stand being away from you. Look, I'm even embarrassing myself in front of you. However, I have no regrets at all,” whispered.

Mia closed her eyes again. The sweet words of her husband, a little bit has eliminated the pain and disappointment that is in the heart.

However, the image of Camilla laughing loosely in front of Matteo while touching the back of her husband's hand, flashed in Mia's mind. The anger and hatred were present again and forced Mia to push Matteo's body as hard as she could, so the man staggered back a few steps.

Mia used that to get away from Matteo. She did not waste the opportunity by turning around and leaving her husband. Mia crossed the street in a hurry. Without looking at his left and right sides, Mia's feet just stepped into the crosswalk. The young woman did not realize that someone was not far from her, and was watching from behind the wheel of a black SUV. He saw a great opportunity before his eyes.

Without hesitation, the person immediately turned the wheel, then stepped on the gas.

The vehicle that was parked on the side of the road immediately moved swiftly towards Mia who was crossing. He hit Mia's slender body, so the poor woman was thrown up to a dozen meters away. After seeing him helplessly sprawled, the impactor then spurred his vehicle out loud, leaving Mia lying just like that in the middle of the highway.

Zucca, who had been in Matteo's car, could see the incident clearly. Without asking permission from his boss, he immediately turned on the jeep and chased the mysterious car that had harmed his master's wife.

Meanwhile, Matteo was only a few meters away from Mia when her soulmate was the victim of a hit-and-run. His life seemed to fly when watching Mia's body bounce and roll on the asphalt.

As it floated, Matteo ran as hard as she could to approach Mia. “No! Not again! Not again, Cara Mia!” the sensation while sitting and embracing the body of Mia who was unconscious. Fresh blood flowed from the wife's nose and head.

Matteo panicked and lost his mind for a moment. He just hugged the weak body tightly, until there were many people who approached him and called an ambulance.

Daniella, who was across the street, screamed like a madman as she ran towards Mia's body. “Do something, Theo! Don't shut up!” pekik.

Soon Matteo lifted up Mia's body and carried her. He looked back and forth, before his gaze was fixed on a taxi parked by the side of the road. Matteo immediately ran to the taxi, along with the entry of a passenger who had ordered it.

"Hey, it's my cab!" protest the man who was the prospective passenger of the taxi.

"Don't you see my wife has to be taken to the hospital right away? Find another taxi!" sahut Matteo firmly, while laying Mia's body in the back seat. After that, he rushed in and told the old man who was the taxi driver to immediately drive his vehicle.

"Hold, Mia. You'll be fine," vibrated Matteo's hand as she gently stroked Mia's hair.
