Suspicious

The arrival of Daniella as well as Adriano, has surprised all who are in the apartment room. Matteo immediately stood up and greeted them with a strange look, while Mia and Francesca helped Daniella. They grabbed the girl and took her to a seat.

After sitting down, the two beauties hugged Daniella at the same time. They were so worried about his eldest brother's safety. “I hope you're okay, Dani. Whoever did it, may he not hurt you,” said Mia worriedly. The unrest on his face was so obvious.

“What's wrong, Mia. I'm fine, just my legs hurt a little bit from being tied for a long time,” replied Daniella trying to look strong. He showed signs of rope ties on his legs and wrists.

“Tell me who has dared to do this to you, Dani!” Matteo asked with a voice and eyes so sharp. Daniella was initially hesitant. He then looked at Adriano. The man signaled to her. Daniella can understand that. The blonde girl nodded slowly.

“Alex has done all this to me, Theo,” replied Daniella. As much as possible, he was not suspicious.

“That guy again?” Mia and Francesca simultaneously said the same thing with a look of disbelief. Daniella responded with a nod. Sometimes he looked back at Adriano. Awkwardness begins to envelop the feeling of the hazel-eyed girl. However, all of that was soon lost when he saw the figure of Marco, who had just entered with a gloomy face. Instantly, the man's sad look changed drastically. Marco doesn't believe that Daniella has returned. Immediately, he approached the girl who was also directly standing when he saw her.

Without any awkwardness, Marco cupped Daniella's pretty face with a slight bruise near the lips. Happy mixed with disbelief, making Marco seem to lose control in him. He hugged the girl tightly. He did not care about the strange looks of all those who were there.

At that moment, Coco who had just come out of the room was stunned to see Adriano's presence there. Adriano also seemed uncomfortable when faced with the look of the eye investigating that Coco lay against him. A moment later, the curly-haired man turned his gaze to Daniella. “Dani, are you back?”

“Master D’Angelo who has brought Dani home. Thank goodness, because he is fine,” said Francesca plainly. But the other is Coco. His sense of suspicion towards the man grew. Coco then looked at Matteo who had said nothing since. There is a kind of signal that only the two friends understand.

The gray-eyed man put everything aside for a moment. “My dear, how about you take Dani to the room to rest,” Matteo said addressed to Mia. The woman looked over while smiling softly. He nodded in agreement.

Mia and Francesca stood up. They both have Daniella who immediately releases herself from Marco's arms.

“Please explain, how can you find my sister-in-law so easily, Mr D’Angelo?” matteo asked flatly and fully probed, as the three women had already left them.

Hearing Matteo speak to him, Adriano immediately turned his head. The man showed a calm smile that looked so charming typical of him. Marco looked at Coco. The sense of happiness that Daniella had returned, made her ignore that thought.

“It wasn't hard for me to find Alex's whereabouts. You know not if he is a former member of Tigre Nero. There were some of my men who were Alex's associates. They're still connected. So, I can easily get information,” explained Adriano lightly.

“I didn't expect if you could recruit a stupid guy like Alex. He's no longer part of the Tigre Nero gang, much less you just fired him from the membership. However, he was still so open that it easily allowed himself to be tracked,” Coco muttered in doubt.

Adriano laughed softly at Coco's words that seemed to be cornered her. He is well aware that Coco harbors great suspicion, since the incident that happened to Mia when in Monaco. But Adriano did not want to be caught. He did not want to respond to all of Coco's babbling and remained as calm as possible. “Don't tell me if you suspect me, Mr. Ricci,” turned back to Coco.

“Oh, of course not. How could I suspect someone like you, Mr. D’Angelo. You are so kind, friendly, and generous. You are also very open and do not hide any secrets from us. Matteo has an outstanding business partner,” Coco denies with her satirical flattery, considering she knows what Adriano did to Mia.

“I don't need flattery or anything. What is clear, I just want to help as much as I can,” reply Adrianto relaxed. He was not at all provoked by the words Coco. Adriano even showed a very friendly and friendly mimic. However, instead of melting, the atmosphere there even felt increasingly tense.

“Oh, of course, Mr de Luca. I've never demanded anything from you. Suffice to be my co-worker, and I will always be loyal to you. I hope you do too,” reply Adriano while developing a smile. For a while, the gazes of the two handsome men clashed with each other before Adrino ended it.

“Alright, it looks like you all should rest and calm down after this shocking event. Then, excuse me," Adriano said goodbye while greeting Matteo and the others. He then turned to the exit. However, shortly afterwards Adriano stopped his steps and turned back to Matteo. “Don't forget, Sir. Valerie's waiting for you at Casa de Luca. He can't wait to get started working in the workshop with you,” he concluded. This time, Adriano actually opened the door and passed from there.

“What do you think, Amico?” asked Coco in a worried tone. “Do you continue to work together?”

Coco was so stunned to hear that. “Are you sure, Amico? You're not kidding, are you?” just to make sure.

“So you see I'm joking?” sumpul Matteo was irritated.

“Wah, I didn't expect. As great as Mia's influence in your life,” Coco clucked in awe as she clapped her hands.

I was willing to sacrifice myself for her happiness and smile. I can't imagine if if I lost Mia, maybe I could go crazy,” Matteo said in a trembling voice.

“Eh, Mia. What are you doing here? How's Dani?” Coco tried to make small talk.

“Dani is asleep. He looks very exhausted. I'm going to cook something for all of us,” Mia walks quickly towards the kitchen and opens the fridge, then closes it back up. After that, he opened the closet. “Yes, geez,” sighs Mia slowly. “It looks like Dani hasn't had time to shop,” lamented.

“Liar Coco will shop for you, Cara mia. Just write down what you want to buy,” said Matteo as fast as lightning.

“Jeez, My dear. Ricci know what about kitchen needs?” refute Mia.

“Ya, I know what about spices?” Coco further emphasized Mia's words.

“Then I will take you shopping, or Francesca?” tawar Matteo was not desperate.

“Francy fell asleep next to Dani, darling. Don't worry so much. I know this city very well. You remember, don't you? I've lived here three years. No one would dare to bother Mia, especially if they knew that you were my husband,” persuaded Mia while gently stroking Matteo's cheeks and pecking her lips.

Instantly Matteo was withered facing that intoxicating touch. “I'm coming with you,” he said softly, and not as firmly as before.

“Be quiet and calm here with Ricci. Take care of my brother and sister. I'll go shopping for a minute. I will not be free to choose the ingredients if you continue to follow me,” Mia pushed the tall and sturdy body slowly, until she fell on the sofa. One knee of Mia flexed over Matteo's thigh, making the man moan slowly. He kissed Matteo's lips back several times, before releasing them with a sweet smile. “Wait here,”whisper Mia.

“Ehm, I hope you guys don't go too far because I'm still here and watching you languish,” said Coco standing before them. The glare of her parched eyes made Mia stupefied.

“I'm sorry, Ricci. Alright, I won't tease Theo anymore, even though she looks so adorable,” Mia winks one eye at the husband, then hurriedly grabs her little bag and opens the door of the apartment.

“Do not shop too far, How to mia!” matteo exclaimed as Mia's slender body almost disappeared behind the door.

“Hypermart is on the bottom floor of this building!” mia's voice was heard, but it was enough to treat Matteo's worries.

Meanwhile, Mia hurriedly entered the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. It didn't take long for him to arrive at the supermarket. He seemed to rush to reach for the trolley, then pushed it through the detection machine and walked straight towards the shelf of fresh vegetables and fish. When his hand was about to pick up a broccoli, another hand that looked so stocky first picked up the vegetable. Mia immediately turned her head and was aghast to find Adriano had taken the broccoli from her.
