Perfect Call

Mia was silent listening to the story of Matteo, as they were on their way to Rome by land. Until then, everything was still unclear. No one knows what happened and where Daniella went. “Are you sure that Dani has been kidnapped, Theo?” Mia sounded doubtful to Matteo's estimation. Especially when the husband did not answer immediately. The man seemed to be thinking deeply.

“Despite Dani leaving on her own, then why didn't she bring her personal belongings? Didn't Francy say she found Dani's bag on the table?” sidelines Coco while continuing to drive. Marco did not say a word. His heart and mind were overwhelmed with anxiety over Daniella's safety.

Marco and Daniella have not made a serious relationship. There is no official bond as a lover between them. However, Marco felt so concerned about the blond girl, especially since they had already spent several nights together. That thing, a little bit has made his heart slightly linked to Mia's stepbrother.

After a journey of about six to seven hours, they finally arrived in the Italian capital. Coco directs the car she was driving to the apartment where the two sisters live. “Did Dani not say anything before, or might it look something suspicious?” matteo asked Francesca, who was then spoiled in Coco's arms, who occasionally kissed her head and forehead.

Francesca shook her head slowly. “I don't think there's a single suspicious thing. Daniella looks ordinary,” the bright hazel-eyed girl.

“Do you not suspect anyone, Theo?” Marco, who had been silent, now began to speak. He looked straight at Matteo as if he wanted the man to consider his opinion.

“Who do you mean? Alex?” guess Matteo. He seemed to narrow both his eyes.

Marco responded to Matteo's guess by raising an eyebrow as a sign of agreement. “Didn't you find the man's whereabouts? Could have been ‘kan, if all this time he watched Daniella secretly and took the right time to do the action. While Daniella does not realize that she is being stalked,” explained Marco. Again, he gave his opinion.

“Yes, I agree with Marco's opinion. I think that's a very reasonable thing,” Coco timpal without releasing Francesca's body from her arms.

“If indeed Alex is the mastermind behind the disappearance of Daniella, then I swear I will skin her alive this time. In that case, we must move immediately to find the whereabouts of the man,” Matteo said with a frightening grin from his face. Mia is wrong because of it. On the one hand, he did not want Matteo to be involved again in the fight let alone having to go back to killing someone's life. However, on the other hand, he is also very worried about the safety of Daniella. Therefore, Mia prefers not to respond to Matteo's words. The brown-eyed beautiful woman was silent.

Moments later, Matteo's phone shook. He immediately grabbed the object lying on the table and examined it. The name D’Angelo is listed on the screen. He immediately answered the call.

Marco chose to move on from his seat. The man with the misty face asked for a car key from Coco. “I want to find the wind for a while,” he said lethargic. “Who knows I can find a clue, rather than just pensively here,” he continued as he passed out of the room after getting what he asked for.

Meanwhile, Matteo was answering a call from Adriano in another room. “What's up, Mr D’Angelo?” asked the gray-eyed man flatly.

“Did you not go to the workshop today, Mr de Luca?” adriano's question was heard from across the street.

“No. I was in Rome. There is a much more important affair,” replied Matteo. “Ah, what a coincidence that you contacted me. Can you give me a little information about Alex? Where does that guy usually be?”

Adriano was fixated on hearing Matteo's question. His face and eyes looked very serious. He wondered if Matteo had asked Alex for his whereabouts. “What's up with Alex, Mr de Luca? Does he act and re-introduce your calm, Mr?” adriano asked pretending, but it was clear that he had finished off Alex and ordered his men to dispose of the man's body somewhere.

In need of information, Matteo finally told Daniella everything that happened. Adriano listened to him carefully.

“Alex is not part of Tigre Nero anymore since his stupid actions first. I fired him from the membership, so I didn't know where he was this time. However, if you want, I will find information about him,” explained Adriano who then ended up with an offer for Matteo. As usual, the man always showed his friendly and generous attitude towards his business partner.

“Then, it doesn't need to. I don't want to trouble you, Mr. D’Angelo. I asked because I thought you knew something about him,” reject Matteo subtly. He no longer wanted to feel the gratitude for all the help Adriano gave him.

“Yes, it's up to you. However, if you need my help, then do not hesitate to say it,” Adriano assured.

A moment later, they ended the conversation.

“I've been in Monaco. Didn't I say last night that I would return to Monte Carlo,” Sergei said confidently.

“I hope you're not the mastermind behind Daniella's disappearance. If true, then I suggest that you get ready to meet your death soon!” sternly, Adriano's tone sounded emphatic.

“What do you mean? I don't know anything about Daniella,” refuted Sergei with a slightly restless face.

“Tell you one thing. Matteo de Luca is not even reluctant to kill his own uncle in order to save Mia. It's not impossible that he'll break down all the bones in your body when he finds out that you kidnapped his wife's half-sister. I will not interfere or help you at all if that happens,” Adriano again said coldly and of course annoyed. If Sergei is the perpetrator of Daniella's kidnapping, then he does not want it to make the good relationship that he has been struggling to establish with Matteo become destroyed.

“I ... I did nothing to the girl, I mean ... not yet ...” Sergei finally explained though with a broken amulet.

“I've told you so many times that you learn to control your lust!” adriano snapped suddenly so hard and so firmly. The breath of the beautiful man began to hunt. He who always looks calm, does not usually become very emotional like that.

“If this stupidity that you have done is ruining my good relationship with Matteo de Luca, then I will make sure that the piece of your body will end up in the belly of Camaro, my pet tiger!” threaten Adriano with confidence.

Sergei did not answer. He froze after hearing the threat from Adriano. A moment glanced at the figure of Daniella who was still sitting on her bed. The girl was in a position of hands and feet tied with her mouth covered in duct tape. This Sergei did because Daniella continued to curse and fight against him.

Meanwhile, Adriano looks back to contact someone. I don't know who, but the look on his face was so serious back then. Not long after, he rushed out of his apartment to fly to Rome. Meanwhile, Matteo and Coco again negotiate about the next step they will take.
