Battle with zerg

The Zerg, which survived two types of plasma beam attacks unleashed by tanks and nuclear fusion missiles fired by troops, continued to move closer towards the defense formations of the troops. Although there were thousands of zergs who died from the previous attack, but in fact this number was only a small number of zergs that attacked the southwest region of this defense fortress, overall the number of zergs attacking to the southwestern part of the defensive fort was close to one hundred thousand while the defense forces led by General Andika only numbered twenty thousand which was clearly less than the number zerg.

"Everyone is preparing to start a real confrontation with the zerg!" When the zergs had reached a distance of 1 kilometer from their current position, General Andika immediately said to all troops in the southwest fortress using a communication channel that was connected to everyone.

The troops who heard the orders from General Andika started to change their formation. Some soldiers went towards the barricades and started aiming at the zergs using the energy weapons in their hands, they did not directly shoot because the range of the energy weapons in their hands could not reach 1 kilometer, the energy bullet can only last up to 700 meters and after that the energy in the bullet will gradually disappear with the distance traveled.

The troops aiming at the zergs were still waiting for the zergs to enter the attack range of 700 meters from the weapons in their hands, while waiting for that at all times tanks and missile launchers will continue to bombard the zerg to reduce the number of zergs when the next direct clash occurs.

Zerg is also very clever, seeing many of their friends killed by the weapons of the natives in front of them finally the zergs chose to keep their distance from each other and no longer clustered as before, because of this the number of deaths from each attack can be minimized to a certain extent which makes the defense forces feel a little threatened despite the intelligence of these zergs. After waiting for a few more minutes the zergists had finally reached the firing range of the energy weapon and the sound of plasma and electromagnetic burning air immediately sounded darting towards the zergs, not only were the troops behind the barricades firing their weapons, but all the soldiers who were still in defensive formation behind them were also firing intensely using the energy weapons in their hands.

Plasma and electromagnetic rain soon hit the zergs and landed some large and small wounds on their bodies, however, only a small percentage of zergs die immediately after being exposed to a hail of electromagnetic bullets as well as plasma, most zergs only sustain minor and severe injuries but quickly recover after a while. The attacks of these forces are also more flexible than those of tanks and missile launchers and since the energy weapons only aim for 1 zerg each time then the chances of killing the zerg are also higher than using tanks and launchers missiles. 

The zerg continued to advance until it finally entered the minefield area which was at a distance of 200 meters from where the defense forces led by General Andika were located. Explosion after explosion kills several zergs at once, but the zergs are smart enough to allow some zergs to come forward and clear existing mines at their own expense to detonate them.

It didn't take long for the two sides to finally make direct eye contact for the first time, barricades made of iron spears made the zerg more rashly choose to jump but because their body structure does not support to make the jump the zerg finally pierced by the barricade's sharp spear, but because their body structure does not support to make the jump, the other Zerg who saw this became more reluctant to jump and had to find a way several times to continue forward. 

With all of the zerg's keen senses the zergs who had started to enter the barricade-filled area also found an army hiding around them, the zerg then turned towards the troops and launched an attack using their claws and tails. Fortunately these soldiers were ready to face the attack from the zerg, they immediately activated the electromagnetic shield of the mechanical armor to stop the zerg attack then swung the plasma lightsaber to slash the zerg.

Zerg continued to arrive and continued to attack the troops in the blockade area, the electromagnetic shield continued to be attacked so that it consumed most of the energy from the mechanical armor. To stop the energy of the mechanical armor from being depleted faster one by one the soldiers started to turn off the electromagnetic shield and faced the zerg by relying on the metal alloys of the mechanical armor for their defense.

Fortunately the mechanical armour was strong enough to withstand any attack by the zergs after changing the raw material of the metal to Mirilium alloy so as not to inflict any damage to the mechanical armour even if the person wearing the mechanical armour it was thrown several meters away after being attacked using a tail by the zergs. Although this zerg attack did not directly injure them but the troops continued to experience pain after being thrown because of the attack, some of their internal organs were shaken due to the inertial effect thus reducing the full strength of these troops.

Of course as a soldier this person would not easily give up with a little pain in their body, with the help of an artificial intelligence assistant who helps control the mechanical armor to stand these soldiers start to keep a safe distance and attack if the opportunity arises. The zergs also reached the defensive formation created by these troops and began to attack blindly at the soldiers and also planned to damage the tanks that were currently continuously firing at the zergs using secondary weapons.

In the southeast part of the defensive fortifications had a battle situation similar to that in the southwest part, which was, director Mahendra set up barricades and mines and then sent tanks and missile launchers to reduce the number of zergs before finally starting a real clash with these zergs. Although each of the southeastern and southwestern parts only had ten thousand soldiers but after the reduction made by all the previous actions the number of zergs that previously amounted to almost a hundred thousand in the southeastern part and the southwest made half of this number of zergs dead.
