The Dea Family Refuge

The zerg crowd quickly surrounded the Dea family home and entered through the doors and windows of the house. The first Zerg to enter the house is an ant that breaks into the back door of the house which is immediately followed by other zerg. One of the zerg went to the room where the wooden door leading down was located and saw the wooden door on the floor had just been closed by the rushing army wanting to catch up with the soldier but before the zerg rushed forward an explosion instantly destroyed his body even destroying the Dea family home.

The effect of the explosion spread throughout the house made all the zerg inside the house instantly killed, even the concrete walls shook violently until finally causing the house to collapse flat on the ground. There was no such effect of the fire after the explosion because at this time the oxygen was thinning which made it even a bit difficult for humans to breathe.

Dimas and the four soldiers who were with him felt the ground tremble as the house finally collapsed burying them all in this basement, the Dea family who were in their private shelter also felt the ground tremble and thought it was an earthquake.

"It wasn't an earthquake, was it? During this time we lived on the island of Borneo never experienced an earthquake" When the ground stopped shaking Dea out of the room with his sister asked his father and mother who also came out of their room because of the tremors.

"It seemed not an earthquake, from the loud noise there was likely a house that collapsed so that the ground shook" Dea's father answered Dea's question.

"What is the ant monster?" Dea involuntarily shrunk her neck and muttered in a small voice.

A few days ago when the Dea family wanted to go to an official sanctuary to trade some of their harvested vegetables with supplies like fuel or something else they had to undo their intentions after seeing several ant monsters the size of adults roamed around their homes. Fortunately, his father soon shut Dea's mouth to keep her from shouting and taking her back to their family's private shelter.

As Dea recalled the appearance of the monsters she had seen before from the entrance of their shelter there sounded like clawing at an iron door. No one dared to move after hearing a claw-like sound from the entrance of the shelter, the sound continued to sound until Dea and her family broke out in cold sweat for fear that it was an ant monster that found their shelter.

Dea covered her mouth and her sister's mouth while walking slowly to the corner of the room, Dea listened to the sound and found that there were two kinds of sounds, long and short. Dea took her phone and opened the note app to record long sounds with a line and short sounds with a dot, coincidentally Dea understood the morse code and immediately translated it to find the meaning of the morse code is "Dimas" which was the name of his classmate.

After confirming several times that the translation was indeed true Dea became excited and looked towards her parents.

"Father, mother, the claw-like sound was morse code, I translated it and the morse code was Dimas' name. The possibility that made that noise was not the ant monster we encountered a few days ago but it was my friend Dimas who promised to exchange generators and space heaters before" Dea showed the Morse code recorded on her phone and the translation to her parents.

"Are you sure it's really Morse code and not the claw of the ant monster?" Dea's mother asked Dea.

"The ant monster of that time had three pairs of legs on which he could walk with only one pair of legs and the other two pairs were used as hands, if the one in front is the ant monster, the resulting sound will be more, but in fact the sound of the rampage at the entrance looks like it is done by an object that is likely a scratch from the weapon the self-defense that my friend brought me." Dea continued to explain and reassure his parents until Dea's father finally decided to open the entrance to their shelter.

With an axe used for self-defense Dea's father opened a little door and peeked at the outside. He saw that what made a scratch-like sound outside was Dimas scraping a knife into the entrance of the shelter and behind Dimas were four soldiers with firearms in their hands. Dea's father immediately opened the entrance wider and told them all to enter before slowly closing the entrance of the shelter.

Dimas and the four soldiers who finally entered the shelter were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief, even Dimas who had escaped from the tense state felt his legs become softened so he had to sit in his place. Zerg had very sharp hearing so Dimas told the four soldiers not to make a sound, even Dimas only dared to scratch the entrance which made a scratch-like sound and made a morse code using that sound.

"Om Haris, thank you for opening the entrance to the family sanctuary" Dimas said to Dea's father.

"No problem, let's go to the living room first" Dea's father helped Dimas stand up and led Dimas and the soldiers into the living room.

In the living room Dimas assisted by Dea's father back sitting on one of the sofas, Dea also saw that the one who came indeed Dimas immediately took a glass of water for Dimas and sat down beside Dimas.

"Dimas, how did you get to our sanctuary like someone who just escaped from a murderous pursuit like this? Did you meet any ant monsters when you got here?" Dea saw that Dimas looked a little pale asking Dimas.

"Ant monster? That's zerg, there's thousands of zerg around your shelter and there's probably a zerg's nest not far from here" Dimas said to Dea that immediately made Dea and his family surprised to hear that the ant monster that Dimas referred to as zerg reached thousands and roamed around the shelter.

Then Dimas without noticing the Dea family being surprised by the thousands, Dimas directly tapped on the special watch in his hand twice causing the holographic display of the initial display of the phone to appear hanging in the air. Dimas tapped on the app with his finger and removed the clock head and placed it on the table, making the table the place where the 3D map of Earth would appear.

The Dea family became more surprised by the holographic display produced by the Dimas watch and even asked if they were fantasizing or something. Not only the Dea family, the soldiers were also shocked by Dimas' holographic display but they quickly returned to their original expressions. They saw Dimas operating a holographic projection of the previously globe-like Earth into an atlas.

Dimas arranged for the look of the atlas that currently filled the table to focus on their current position and see where the meteor fragments were likely to be nests of zergs wandering outside.
