It has been 1 month since the Garuda project started, all Garuda executives do their respective duties very well although not as efficient as Dimas who is the youngest executive and the youngest person who participated in this Garuda project.
Currently maglev vehicles have been designed into various types of vehicles from maglev motors to maglev trucks and maglev vehicles are starting to replace logistic vehicles and also existing military vehicles. Dimas has just got out of a military car that is also a maglev vehicle, below the ground where Dimas stands today is a special military shelter where Andika generals train special forces to deal with zerg later.
Dimas was brought in with the help of some soldiers towards the inside of this shelter. Military shelters as a whole were different from the usual shelters, no refugees were in these shelters and the entire place was filled with soldiers from the army, sea, and air forces. This military shelter consists of three floors which the further into the ground the floor position the higher the permit required to enter it, the more, floor -3 is the bottom floor in a military shelter and this is where the soldiers chosen to be special forces to handle the trained zerg.
After entering the shelter Dimas is taken to an elevator, pressing a button to go to the floor - 3 Dimas then performs a series of verifications such as fingerprint, voice and iris scans to ascertain his identity. Dimas completed the identity verification quickly and then the elevator moved down towards the -3 floor, when the elevator door opened there was a general Andika along with professor Pras who greeted Dimas in front of the elevator door with a smile.
"Professor Dimas, glad you're finally here, your invention of maglev has helped a lot in various ways, be it in the Garuda project or in improving the logistics process of living supplies for refugees in every refuge" The first to greet was professor Pras, he said enthusiastically and shook Dimas' hands as if they were of the same age.
"Professor Pras is wrong, the maglev vehicle is not only the result of my discovery but the discovery of everyone in the study, I was only in charge of submitting appropriate material and a little help in the research" Dimas answered with a smile and shook Professor Pras' hand.
General Andika also greeted Dimas and shook hands as Professor Pras had done before. The three Garuda executives then walked while introducing Dimas whatever was on the floor - 3.
"As mentioned in the previous meeting, right now the special forces I mentioned earlier are being trained in this place. Previously we found some zerg nests that have produced zerg but are still in small numbers and the zerg is just a newly hatched zerg baby, we captured some of the zergs that would be used as opponents of the special forces in simulated battles that were routinely conducted every week and the results were quite satisfactory" General Andika explained, they reached a place as large as a football field and there were many soldiers trained very strictly by their instructors.
The three of them continued walking and finally arrived at the simulation training ground which was also as big as a football field where here was a special forces candidate to conduct a simulated battle against the zerg. This method of training was extremely extreme because the one they were fighting was a real zerg who had been captured and raised by the military, the military said, fortunately no prospective special forces were killed in the simulated training because every zerg would be implanted with a bomb in his brain so that the moment the zerg would kill the would-be special forces defeated against him the outside supervisor would detonate bomb to kill zerg first.
At the current simulation training ground Dimas and the others saw the group of would-be special forces moving silently towards the zerg which looked like a squirrel as big as a cow that was sleeping under a large tree.
"They've never fought a zerg?" Dimas frowned when he saw this group and asked general Andika.
General Andika shook his head and said "Actually this group is the most experienced than the other special forces candidates, so far in every weekly simulation exercise they have always managed to defeat the zerg with just a slight wound"
"There are three, each simulated battle there is one zerg and if they manage to win this simulated battle then there will be a total of four zergs that they defeat" General Andika replied with a hint of embarrassment with this figure.
"There are too few zergs, the current simulated battle is just a means to strengthen their mentality so they won't be too scared when facing the zerg head-on in a real battle later" General Andika explained.
Dimas could only nod, after all there was nothing to do if the zerg count was lacking and they did not want to let too many zergs around them as it was an extremely deadly danger. The simulated battles were very short-lived, although in this simulated battle they were only allowed to use cold weapons like knives and the like yet everyone had gotten used to fighting the zerg before so it wouldn't be too difficult.
"It looks like our special forces training method should be improved in the future, it might take several months but I think the need for this special forces is still not needed until at least zerg attacks humans" Dimas thought for a moment and said to General Andika.
"You can create a better training method?" General Andika asked as she looked at Dimas uncertainly.
Dimas shook his head "No, but I might be able to make some equipment that can increase training efficiency"
Dimas thought of a vr technology similar to the one in Ready Player One he had seen, which was the first type of rv the main character used at the beginning of the film. This type of vr would be better for training the soldiers rather than using a full dive vr which made the wearer only need to lie down to enter the virtual world, all a soldier needs in addition to training their skills is of course to train their body so it is better to let them enter with the body that must move.
"Then I'll wait for the good news soon" General Andika said casually, through Dimas' efficiency in technology research makes Andika's general trust Dimas a little.
The three continued to wander around all over the place on this -3rd floor, the last stop was the laboratory belonging to the enormous sized professor Pras with a wide variety of advanced equipment inside. Currently out of the three Garuda executives only two of them remain, general Andika has other interests that require him to leave first so that currently only leaves Dimas along with professor Pras.
Dimas looked around the laboratory, many scientists were focused on researching something that seemed to be an open exoskeleton skeleton. A soldier wore the exoskeleton skeleton and could easily lift a barbell weighing hundreds of kilograms with just one hand, but it did not last long because a few seconds later the barbell fell very hard to hit the floor followed by soldiers who were still holding barbell sticks and wearing exoskeleton skeletons that fell with the sound of falling very hard one.
