Escape From Zerg's Path

A speeding steel car in the snow plowed into several ant-like figures as big as an adult blocking the front of the car. Inside the steel car Dimas and the four soldiers who were ordered to guard Dimas were currently in a state of panic from seeing strange creatures and in large numbers wanted to surround their steel car.

"Right turn!" Despite the panic Dimas still directed the driving soldiers to go towards the Dea sanctuary which was right under the Dea family home. The driving soldier followed the instructions from Dimas and turned the car to the right without braking at all, luckily the heavy steel car so that the car did not roll over while making the turn at high speed.

They all noticed that the further they went the number of zergs increased, Dimas then looked back where the zergs kept chasing their cars. Not only in the back, from the side and also from the front the number of zerg more and more and the distance between the car with the zerg is getting closer.

"Professor Dimas, the number of these monsters is getting even close to besieging us, what if we turn around and return to the official shelter first regarding this monster" one of the soldiers said to Dimas.

Dimas of course thought about this but he shook his head to show rejection

"This monster is called zerg, since the first zerg hit the body of the steel car we drive at that time, the zerg has marked this steel car and will easily find the position of this steel car in the range of hundreds or even thousands of kilometers. Better go to one of my friend's shelters, hopefully their sanctuary isn't penetrated by this zerg or we can just be a snack of this zerg" Dimas briefly explained what these soldiers fortunately understood.

With this many zergs, if they bring the car back to the official sanctuary it is certain that the official shelter will soon be destroyed even all refugees inside the official shelter could be said to have been killed along with the destruction of the shelter offical.

While the soldiers were worried about the destruction of the official sanctuary if the zergs attacked, Dimas was more worried about the condition of the Dea family that they were aiming for. As long as their shelter was still fine then Dimas and the soldiers had a higher chance of survival than hiding inside this steel car.

"How far away is your friend's shelter?" Ask the soldier driving the steel car.

Dimas looked at the buildings on the side of the road and estimated how far they were from the Dea family sanctuary. Dimas looked at some familiar buildings and said "it's close, in front of the corner there's a left turn and then the third house to the left of the street is the place".

Following the direction of Dimas, a crossroad appeared in front and the car turned to the left. The right part of the car hit the concrete fence because of imperfect drift done by the driver but no one is bothered about it at the moment, just in front of the third house to the left of the steel car road stopped and everyone in the steel car came out to look for the entrance to the Dea family shelter.

"We split up, two people will search in the backyard and two more people follow me looking inside the house" Dimas standing at the door said to the four soldiers behind him.

Quickly two soldiers followed Dimas to find the entrance to the Dea family shelter while two other soldiers went to the backyard to check if the entrance of the shelter was in the courtyard backside.

The sound of gunfire rang out from the outside more precisely from the backyard, it was certain that it was both soldiers meeting the zerg and having to shoot to kill the zerg.

Upon hearing that the entrance of the sanctuary had been found Dimas did not head directly to the place but towards one of the windows leading to the backyard. Dimas saw from the window that the two soldiers were shooting at the zerg who was climbing over the fence surrounding the Dea family home and needed several shots to kill the zerg.

"Hey you two, the entrance is in here, let's hurry in!" Dimas shouted to the two soldiers.

Hearing what Dimas said the two soldiers quickly entered through the back door and they along with Dimas ran towards the soldier who had previously found the entrance of the Dea family shelter. The entrance of a shelter is like the entrance of a secret room hidden under a work desk, with a wooden door with a staircase leading to the underground that has been confirmed to be the way to the entrance to the shelter.

The back door was broken by the zerg with ease, Dimas the soldiers quickly descended down with the stairs leading to the underground. In the middle of the road Dimas took out a nuclear fusion reactor from his bag and went back upstairs, Dimas then saw the four soldiers one by one.

"Who of you is the most skilled at shooting?" Dimas asked

The four soldiers looked at each other and then one of them raised his hand and said "I have better shooting skills among the four of us".

"If I throw this thing out, how sure are you to shoot this thing while it's hovering in the air?" Dimas asked again while showing the nuclear fusion reactor in his hand.

The soldier seemed to think for a moment and said "As long as the distance is not too far away then I can hit it"

That way Dimas immediately brought the soldier up and opened the wooden door hidden under the table and gave the nuclear fusion reactor in his hands to the soldier.

"Throw this thing in that direction and then shoot before the height of this thing goes down, after successfully shooting this thing immediately close the entrance and go down as fast as possible" Dimas said to the soldier.

The soldier nodded and replaced his weapon with a pistol, through a short calculation he threw the reactor given Dimas to the place Dimas meant by the rainbow sky in the middle of the Dea family home. The gun safety was opened then the gun aimed at the nuclear fusion reactor which was thrown into the air, the bullet fired from the gun hit right on the main part of the nuclear fusion reactor causing the nuclear fusion reactor to explode instantly.

The soldier instantly closed the wooden door that became the road leading down and quickly went down according to what Dimas said. The nuclear fusion reactor caused a huge explosion that instantly destroyed the house to the ground, leaving the wooden door that became the way to the entrance of the Dea family shelter buried by the ruins of the house.
