Take Over the Refuge

"Sir governor, you can leave the evacuation problem to us, we have now developed some technology that can help a lot in the evacuation this time" Dimas said to the governor after hearing what he said earlier.

The governor frowned when he heard Dimas speak, he did not know the identity of Dimas and just thought Dimas was a relative of the Andika general so he could follow the Andika general. The governor would scold Dimas for interfering in adult affairs but upon seeing the expression of the Andika general who remained unchanged even though Dimas had interrupted their conversation made him only able to take a deep breath to calm himself.

"What Dimas executives said was true, we have a room heater that is able to warm the temperature in this shelter back to normal temperature, he said, in addition we have a maglev vehicle that can move from the island of Java to the island of Kalimantan in just 1 hour. Also, for food matters we will take the authority to regulate them, we have enough food to feed the entire refugee to fullness" General Andika said proudly.

The governor was surprised by the words of the Andika general, for food may still be considered as ordinary goods but for other things such as maglev vehicles that can move from the island of Java to Kalimantan in just 1 hour even faster than ordinary aircraft and even slightly faster than commercial jetliners. But what made him even more surprised was Dimas' call to be called an executive, although no one knows about the Garuda executive as well as the Garuda project that is being run but from the tone of the previous general Andika the governor can ensure that this so-called executive is definitely an important person.

"Executive? This child is not a relative of General Andika?" The governor said with a heart.

General Andika nodded "Since the meteor collision earlier we found that there was one thing that harmed humans appeared along with the meteor, the government then formed a project to deal with this. This project is called the Garuda project and there are five executives who have their respective duties in this project, This Dimas is one of the Garuda executives who is also a scientist who found many high-tech things for this Garuda project"

The Governor looked back at Dimas with a shocked look, Dimas was more or less as big as his grandson and probably had not graduated from High School. Thinking of his grandson who at that time only knew to play with his friends and then hearing that this child his grandson's age had made a lot of high-tech things made him only able to sigh long and harbor feelings of envy.

"How high is Garuda's executive position?" Ask governor.

"The position is the same as the president" replied General Andika.

"Let's go back to what should be discussed, we will take over the management of this shelter and make it as a transit place from the people of Java island to be taken to the island of Kalimantan. For the refugee problem we will also take care and provide the best possible care so you don't have to worry about us leaving the seriously ill refugees or so on" Feeling that the topic of conversation began to deviate, General Andika had to remind the governor about the purpose of their arrival here.

The governor was silent for a while, in fact he was reluctant to hand over the leadership of this shelter to this fellow, actually, however as this was a direct order from the central government so he could only accept this decision with a lofty air.

With the governor of the city of Surabaya finally handed over the leadership of this sanctuary eventually General Andika could make the necessary arrangements for this refuge. The first step taken by the Andika general was to distribute synthetic food to everyone in the shelter, even though synthetic food is just like a jelly with a small size, it still makes the refugees who always eat in shortage become excited, fortunately the soldiers and staff present at the shelter calmed the situation so that the division of synthetic food went smoothly.

"Is today's food just this jelly? Why do I feel that food rations are getting less and less? I suspect the officials are keeping food to themselves!"

"We can't do anything, after all the country is still willing to take us and let us survive a little longer is also a happy thing"

Some people said quietly but some soldiers still heard the words thanks to their sharp hearing, a soldier glanced at his smiling friend when he heard the words of the refugees and shook his head. He couldn't blame them for assuming the synthetic food they shared had too few servings, either, in fact they also assume a piece of synthetic food will not be enough to hold hunger for a few minutes at a time when they have not tried it.

"If there are those who are not full you can ask for more food later, the condition is that you must spend the food given to you first" The soldier said in a loud voice so that everyone could hear his words.

Hearing the words of the soldier made the refugees excited, he said, they quickly bit the jelly-like food that these soldiers were sharing but after spending a small piece of the jelly their stomachs felt very full and unable to hold any other food, even children only spend less than half of that jelly before saying that they are full to their parents.

Everyone except the soldiers brought in by the Andika general were shocked by the effect produced by this piece of jelly named synthetic food. A small piece of synthetic food is capable of satiating an adult even if previously the person was the one who ate a lot he or she stayed full with just this small piece. Finally no one asked for extra food because they were all full.

After giving the general food Andika then asked the staff at the shelter to record all the people in this shelter, both WNI and WNA, which had not previously been recorded by officials. They need to record this person first so that later when taken to a shelter in Kalimantan it will not make the shelter too full so that the refugees must be in the corridor.

The data collection also aims to see how severe the health condition of each refugee, namely, in addition to bringing a lot of synthetic food to share with the refugees they also brought various types of new drugs that have been researched by the group of Surya professors and passed clinical trials so that they are safe to use.
