CHAPTER 54 - Peace

After Daniel finished his work, he immediately took his car keys on the table. And walked out of his study. Tonight Daniel's gonna take Callista to meet his sister Grace. He wanted them to immediately finish the conversation between his wife-to-be and his sister.

Daniel drove his car at a fast speed to Queen Hospital.

Upon Daniel's arrival at the Queen's Hospital Lobby, Daniel has sent a message to Callista if Daniel is already in the hospital lobby. About 10 minutes of Daniel waiting, he saw Callista wearing a bright yellow mini dress that is very beautiful in the skin of Callista.

“Darling, sorry to wait” Callista's nasty remarks kept Daniel waiting.

“Nothing sweetheart, let's go now” Daniel said.

Callista got into Daniel's car and now they're walking out of Queen Hospital.

“How was the operation running smoothly?” Daniel asked while driving his car.

“Iya dear went well, earlier I almost failed to save my patients. But thank goodness God still allows my patients to live. I would be devastated if I failed in saving my patients” Callista said.

“Don't be like that, I'm sure you're a great doctor. If not how my hospital can choose you. Queen Hospital very well select doctors who work there” said Daniel.

“Iya dear, actually I was surprised when I was accepted to be a surgeon doctor there. What is my age is still very young to become a surgeon surgeon doctor”

“That means you are indeed smart” Praise Daniel.

Callista smiled, hearing Daniel praise him.

“You are also smart and great, first when you came to Queen Hospital. And provide some input for Queen Hospital to remain the number 1 hospital. I'm really amazed to see you talk” Callista recalls a time when she still had no relationship with Daniel.

“So since long ago you have noticed me hem?” Said Daniel in a tone that mocked his lover.

Daniel's car has arrived at Daniel's family mansion. When Daniel wanted to get out of the car, his hand was held by Callista.

“Honey I'm not good with your father and mother, I was not polite in front of them” Callista said given the incident he could hardly control his anger.

“Sweetheart, my parents understand why you were angry yesterday. Believe me it's okay” replied Daniel while stroking his lover's face.

Daniel clasps Callista's hand into his mansion, the servants seeing Daniel and Callista. They have greeted Daniel and Callista with great respect. Daniel and Callista returned the servants with smiles. Daniel knew his parents were in his living room.

Daniel stepped into his living room and still clasped Callista's hand.

Alin and Gio who saw Daniel coming to bring Callista, they immediately welcomed Callista warmly.

“Honey, you are here” said Alin who immediately hugged Callista.

“Iya aunty uh mama I mean. Sorry yesterday I was disrespectful” replied Callista who felt bad.

“Honey, this is not your fault Alin said while stroking Callista's face.

“Callista, it's not your fault. Papa has advised grace” Connect Gio.

“Papa Gio, I'm sorry” Lirih Callista and Gio immediately hugged Callista.

“It's okay, it's not your fault nak” replied Gio.

“Grace is in his room dear, you can ride if you want to meet Grace” replied Alin.

“Well Mama Alin and Papa Gio, I have to solve my problem with Grace. I went to Grace's room first ya” Callista said.

“Iya nak” Connect Gio.

Callista walked out of the living room and her steps came to a halt when Daniel held her hand.

“Honey, I'm with you to meet my sister huh?” Daniel said, holding Callista's hand.

“No dear, let me alone solve my problems with Grace” Callista replied.

“But-“ Uncompleted Daniel spoke, Callista already touched Daniel's face gently.

“Honey, believe. Grace and I will solve our problems well. Grace is your sister, that means she's also my sister.” Callista.

“Daniel, let Callista solve his own problem with Grace”.

Daniel also nodded.

Callista continued her steps towards Grace's room. She's in Grace's room.

The sound of knocking on the door.

“Callisa?” Grace was shocked when she saw Callista walk into her room.

“Grace, I want to talk to you” said Callista who had walked closer to Grace's bed.

“Grace, I don't want you to misunderstand me. I love you as much as I love my sister Jessica. There's no way I'm mean to you.” Callista said softly and he was sitting next to Grace.

“Grace, I love your sister. I accepted it to be my husband, outside of Daniel I wanted nothing else. Grace believes I never meant to hurt you. It's just that I can't bear to tell you.” Callista is back.

“Grace, I asked Mike to open his heart for you. But once I see, Mike's not the right guy for you. You are perfect for her Grace” Callista said.

“Callista, I was wrong to accuse you. I'm sorry I was so disrespectful to you discussing your mother's past. I was really bad. Even after what I told you, you still came to me. I'm really very shy” Reply Grace.

“Grace, I forgave you before you apologized. You are my sister, after all. I'll make sure you get a great guy for you.” Callista said immediately made Grace hug Callista tightly.

“My sister is not wrong to choose a life partner. You are so good Callista. Now I understand why so many people like you”, Grace said.

“Grace, believe me, you will be met with a man who loves you just as much as your brother loves me” Reply Callista.

Callista is disappointed with Grace because Grace brought her mother's name to their cause. But Grace is the sister of her lover. Callista doesn't want to have problems with the sister of the lover he loves.
