CHAPTER 22 - Meeting Again

Daniel drives his car to his family's mansion. He wanted to meet his father and directly ask his father.

Upon arrival at his family's mansion, as usual Daniel was greeted with his servant.This time Daniel did not care about his servant when greeting him. He walked quickly to his father's office.

The sound of knocking on the door

"Come in" Gio said

"Pa, I want to talk" Daniel, who keeps looking at her father.

"Can we talk later? papa has an appointment with papa's friend"

"What was Callista's mother's ex-boyfriend?"ask Daniel

Daniel's question surprised Gio. His face was so pale that Gio could not answer him.

Gio sighed

"Daniel, papa can't tell you anything you want to live a happy life. Papa and mama set you up because papa is sure Debora is the best" replied Gio who looked at Daniel

"Pa, do you know? because of papa and mama. I've hurt the girl I love." Daniel said

"Pa, if papa's goal is because mama callista is papa's ex-lover. Believe me pa, pa, once if I was married to Deborah then we had a child and when she grew up she fell in love with a callista child, then I did the same thing as you do today. My son will hate his grandfather." - Daniel held back his emotions.

Gio who was silent heard Daniel's words, then he decided to walk away from Daniel. Daniel held Gio's hand.

"Pa, please show me the wise attitude papa taught me" said Daniel who began to get upset

"Daniel, let time be answered son"

Gio continued his steps walking out of his study.

"Pa, did you know that Callista decided to move to Paris?"alice said to her husband

"Yes, papa knows. Jessica told me everything. Now we should be grateful that Gio set up his son. Now papa's gonna match Callista with another guy"

"Don't pa, Callista's still hurt. Leave him alone first. We'll move him to Paris. Let him live a new leaflet in his life pa" said Alice

Michael sighed, it is true that it is better to give time to Callista. She wants her youngest daughter to be happy.

"Alice?"said Gio

"Gio?"

The two stared at each other.

"Who are you here with?"ask Gio

"On my own, I bought some clothes for my two daughters" Alice replied

"You're Gio's own?" ask Alice

"Yes Alice, I'm alone" replied Gio

"Alice, can we talk for a second?"

Alice nodded and Gio let Alice sit down.

"How's Michael doing?"ask Gio

"My husband is so good, what about Alin?"

"My wife is very good too"

"Alice, I've met your daughter. Your daughter is so beautiful, I really didn't realize she was your daughter Alice. After I remembered, he had eyes like michael's and a face similar to yours. Your youngest daughter has a face that mixes you and your husband" Gio said as he looked at Alice

"Yes you were right, and I met your son. Very handsome and dashing man"saut Alice

"Alice, I really don't know what to do. Our children love each other. I couldn't get you but now my son is your son's lover. Should I let my son be like me?"gio said, continuing to look at Alice

"Gio, the fault is with me. I'm sorry for everything. My daughter Callista is moving out of Los Angeles. I know, if your wife sees my daughter, she'll hate my daughter"

Gio sighed.

"Alice, I'm guilty of you too"

"Already Gio, we met when we were not young anymore. Your wife would hate me even more if she saw us together. I hope Daniel can find a good girl for him and so can my daughter. Goodbye Gio" Alice said as she walked out of the restaurant

Gio looked at Alice as he walked out.

"Life ahead, I wish we could be with Alice" Inner Gio
