CHAPTER 33 - Return to Los Angeles

In the morning Daniel had woken up first, he was very happy when he opened his eyes there was a beautiful girl sleeping beside him. It felt like he could see the girl he loved being beside him as the morning came.

Daniel stroked Callista's hair gently, and kissed Callista's head.

“My sleeping beauty” Murmured Daniel slowly.

Callista slowly opened his eyes, and when Daniel was already in front of him, he was shocked.

“aaaaaaa what are you doingnn” Excited Callista.

Daniel smothered Callista's mouth with his hand.

“You are so noisy, my eardrum can break hearing your screams” said Daniel who was upset to hear Callista's screams.

“Why are you in my bed? Last night didn't I tell you you slept on the couch?”

“You are so happy, your lover told to sleep on sofa”

“You what did I do last night? Answer honestly!” Callista stared intently at Daniel.

Hearing Callista's stupid question, Daniel immediately touched Callista's forehead.

“What are you thinking. You're still wearing your nightgown neatly.” Daniel was upset to hear his lover's stupid question.

“Do you want me to do it now?” goda Daniel's.

“Kauu-“ Growled Callista

“Have I taken a shower and got ready.” Callista while walking towards the bathroom.

Today Callista and Daniel decided to return to Los Angeles. They want to solve their family problems first. Daniel has to take care of his company. Because Callista did not move to Paris, he had to return to his family's company in Los Angeles.

Now Callista has packed up the things he'll bring back to Los Angeles. Callista did not carry much, because Callista would often go to Paris to visit his restaurant.

Callista and Daniel's belongings have been put on Daniel's private jet. Callista's family still doesn't know Callista's return. He was afraid not to tell her. The servants and bodyguards that Callista brought from Los Angeles also come home along with Callista and Daniel.

“Darling, I've already ripped your resignation letter. So from now on you are still a surgeon specialist at Queen Hospital” Daniel said as he looked at his girlfriend.

“How can it be like that? I'm not good with the other” Gerutu Callista.

“Why should it be bad? Your girlfriend is the biggest shareholder there. So no need to be unpleasant.”

“You are always using the power you have” exasperated Callista.

“Sometimes if it is necessary to use power, then I will do it” replied Daniel casually.

Callista sighed at the words of Daniel.

“Honey, after we've gone through everything. I want to announce to the media you are my lover.” Said Daniel

“Why so fast? The media will think if I snatch you from Debora.”

“No, I will tell the media if you are my lover not Deborah. Deborah and I are only in a match but since I love you so I will still choose the youngest daughter of the Hutomo” Family Daniel while stroking Callista's hair.

“Whatever, but actually I want our family problems solved first. I want to meet your father Daniel. Your father accompanied my mother for 7 years. Time 7 years is not a short time” said Callista with a slightly grim face.

“Darling, that means my father is not a match for your mother. If my father and your mother were to marry, we would never exist. This is all fate” Reply Daniel who tried to calm Callista.

“Yes you were right, but I still don't feel good about your father. This was my father”

“Callista, I completely understand why your father is like that. Because if I were to be your father, I would use the power I have to have the girl I love. Now behold, do you not say I always use the power I have? How is it different from your father?”

Callista who heard Daniel's words, he immediately leaned his head on Daniel's chest.

“Yes, I understand now. But let me meet your father in person. I'm still grateful that my mother was loved by your great father. And now her son is my lover” Callista said with a smile towards Daniel.

Since Alice and Alin's meeting, the relationship between them was much better. Alice decided to talk to her husband. He wanted to solve all the problems that existed in the past. She did not want to re-engage her daughter, for her the happiness of her daughter was the main one. It is selfish for her if she and her husband forbid her youngest daughter from getting the man her daughter loves.

Alice saw her husband in her study, Alice walked closer to her husband.

“Paa.” Alice said slowly

Michael looked up when a voice called out to him.

“Iya ma?”Answer Michael.

“Pa, I want to talk something”

“Say ma. What's up?” Michael asked, looking at his wife's face.

“I've told Callista everything about our past. Maybe Callista will find you pa”

Hearing his wife's words, Michael sighed deeply.

“Ma, indeed Callista already have to know. It's all papa's fault, papa's forcing you. Papa used to be so blinded by love. Papa did a sneaky way to get you” replied Michael whose face was grim.

“Pa, I have never regretted marrying such a great man like you. You have given me two very beautiful and great daughters. Gio and I are the past, everyone has a past. Believe me, I am very lucky to have a husband like you” Alice said as she clasped her husband's hand.

“Thank you ma, you have opened your heart to me. And thank you for accepting me as your husband” Michael said.

Hearing her husband's words made Alice smile.

“Pa, yesterday I met with Alin”

“You met Alin? Gio's wife?” Michael asked in wonder.

Alice also nodded.

“True pa, we solved our problem without involving our son. May I ask you something pa?”

“Say ma, whatever you ask for sure papa will support it”

“I want us to solve our problems with Gio without involving Callista. Pa, haven't you ever seen Callista have a lover? Don't break our daughter's heart pa.” Said Alice.

“But are you sure, Gio and Alin will receive Callista well?”

“Pa, I'm very sure Gio and Alin will be very accepting of our daughter. Did papa forget that papa has a very tough daughter?”

“You're right ma, well we'll sort this out without involving our daughter. But ma, papa still has to know Daniel's nature well. Papa doesn't want anything to happen with our little daughter”

“Pa, I'm very sure. Daniel is a good man for our daughter”

Eventually Michael agrees to settle the matter with Gio without involving their daughter's son. Although Michael has a stubborn nature, but he himself wants his youngest daughter to be happy.
