CHAPTER 30 - The Struggle of Daniel II
After leaving Daniel, Callista plans to go to one of the malls. But because Callista wanted to control the branch restaurant he had just opened in Paris, he decided to visit his restaurant.
Royal Restaurant Thai specialties, which Callista open in Paris. Callista's restaurant is always crowded with visitors. Callista is grateful to be able to develop his business in various countries with his own business. Actually as the miss of a rich family, she did not need to bother. Callista walked into his restaurant. Restaurant with a pretty fancy design. Callista's eyes were fixed on the man sitting by himself while enjoying his meal. Callista walked closer towards the man.
"Edward?" Call Callista.
"Callistas? you here?" Edward asked confusedly when he saw Callista.
"Yes Edward, this is my restaurant" Callista said
"Royal Restaurant is yours?" Ask Edward again.
Callista nodded and smiled at Edward.
"How's the food here? do you like it?" Callista asked with a friendly smile.
"Very well, this is one of my favorite restaurants in here" Edward said
"really?"
"True Callista, here the food is very good"
"Thank you, enjoy your meal" Callista said.
"Callista, can you accompany me to a meal?" Edward Pinta.
Callista nodded and accompanied Edward to finish his meal. Edward was a handsome, charismatic man. He had a gentle nature in contrast to Daniel. But Callista liked Daniel better.
After EdwarD finished his meal, Edward finally drove Callista back to his apartment.
"Cal, are you at the restaurant tomorrow?" Ask Edward.
"I don't know yet, I plan to go to the hospital that belongs to my sister's fiancee. I want to apply to be a doctor there" Callista said.
"You doctor?" Edward asked with a shocked face.
Callista also nodded.
"She's really the perfect girl. Besides being beautiful and born to a rich family but she is also smart" Edward murmured inwardly.
"You're a very great callista" said Edward praising Callista.
"No, it's not like that" replied Callista.
"Calissstaaaaaa" Shouted a man who walked over towards him.
"Why is he not tired of meeting me" muttered Callista inwardly.
"Mr Daniel?" Edward said, looking at Daniel.
"Yes, Mr. Edward. Why are you with my lover?" Daniel asked with a sharp look.
"I accidentally met Callista at the Royal Restaurant, after which I drove him home" replied Edward.
"Isn't Mr Daniel on the news getting engaged to Debora Alister? why is he here now?" Edward murmured in his heart.
"All right, you can go now. I want to talk to my lover" Daniel ordered.
Edward nodded and said goodbye. He walked away from Callista and Daniel.
"Open your apartment door!" Daniel's orders
"Come home, I don't want to argue with you" replied Callista.
"Callista can you not be stubborn? or do I want to break down your door?" Daniel said with emotion.
Callista could only sigh and begin to open the door of her apartment. Daniel walks into Callista's apartment, and sits on the couch.
"Callista, stop acting like this. We need to get back to Los Angeles. We need to talk to our parents."
"Daniel, there's nothing more we need to talk about. I've given up on this complicated relationship. You can get engaged to the girl of your parents' choice. And let me choose another man for my life"
"It's easy for you to talk like that, I've been trying to hold it all this time Callista. Stop being stubborn or I'll drag you back with me" threatened Daniel.
"I'm tired, Daniel. I have also resigned from Queen Hospital. I want to start my life here" Callista said
"Your life is only with me. There's nothing more. If I live in Los Angeles, then you should stay there too" Daniel said, drawing Callista's hand.
Daniel pulled Callista's hand and cupped it into Callista's cheeks.
"Tell me if you don't need me anymore" Daniel said, staring at Callista's face.
Callista was silent and did not dare look Daniel in the eye. Callista says the relationship with Daniel is complicated. He was afraid of a lot of hurt hearts. His family and Daniel's family. Callista tries to leave but Daniel always pulls his hand.
