CHAPTER 23 - A Story of the Past
Callista drove his car to Queen Hospital. Callista Tujian to Queen Hospital is handing in his resignation letter. Say goodbye to her best friend Olivia.
Arriving at Queen Hospital, Callista walked to Olivia's room.
"Cal, are you here?"ask Olivia wonder
Callista walked closer to Olivia.
"Liv, tomorrow I'm moving to Paris, and here's my letter of resignation. I'm asking you to give me this letter when I leave" Callista said, handing me a letter of resignation.
"Why did you move? is it because of Daniel?
"Liv, you know my relationship with Daniel is over. He has a fiancee. I'm asking you not to talk about Daniel anymore" Callista said with a grim face
"Cal, if Paris is the place where you can open a new page, then I'm the happiest person. Callista you're like my brother. I'm sure, every wound you get, will be treatable. Isn't there always a rainbow after the rain?"exclaim Olivia while hugging Callista tightly.
"Liv, I hope your life is happy too. Getting the best pair. I always pray for you liv"
Olivia breathed. Even though his best friend told him nothing. He knew that the wound Callista got was too deep. Olivia chooses not to ask but she will always support her best friend.
After giving a letter of resignation and also saying goodbye to his best friend. Callista returns to his family's mansion. The items he was about to bring were already prepared by the waiter. Callista chose to use his family's private jet. He did not want others to see him with puffy eyes.
Arrival at Hutomo Mansion
Callista walked towards the living room where his parents were gathered.
"Darling, are you done?"ask Alice
"Ma pa, I don't know what happened to our family and Daniel's family. I can't force you to tell stories. Daniel already has a fiancee. Maybe I'll rarely see you guys but I hope you can always take care of yourself" Callista said, staring at her parents
"Callista, I'm sure you'll get the best of it"
Callista just silently heard her mother say, then she walked towards her room.
Michael hugged his wife tightly. He tried to calm his wife.
"Pa, I just accidentally met Gio" Alice said as she looked at her husband
"Is he talking about something?"ask Michael
"Yes, he didn't think that his son loved our daughter either" Alice replied
"Papa is also guilty ma, let time treat Callista's wounds"

"Alice, will you marry me?being the mother of my son's child?"gio asked while kneeling before Alice
Alice who was shocked to hear Gio say, her tears dripping down her cheeks.
"Yaaa Gio, I wantuu" cried Alice as she hugged and kissed Gio.
Gio returned Alice's embrace tightly.
"Thank you Alice"
"Gio, I have to meet my father.I have to tell him this good news" Alice said with a happy smile.
Gio nodded and drove Alice home to his family's mansion.
Upon the arrival of her family's Alice mansion, Alice runs to meet her father.
"Papaa" cried Alice
"Yes dear" replied Stev's father Alice
Alice, who was looking at her father with a grim face, slowly walked closer to her father.
"Pa, what's wrong?"tany Alice was worried about her father
"You're so happy son, any happy news?"ask stev
"Yes pa, Gio proposed to me. Today we just celebrated our 7th anniversary and she proposed to me paa"Alice with a very happy face.
Suddenly he saw his father still with a grim face.
"Pa, what's wrong? why is papa so unhappy?"
Stev breathed
Stev's words suddenly shocked Alice
"Maa.kksudd papa what?"alice asked in surprise
"Alice forgive papa, Michael Hutomo has a stake in our company almost 50%. He's a very smart young man. He loved you a long time ago. If you don't want to marry her, we're gonna lose the company that your great-grandfather put us down" Steve said
"Pa, but papa knows that I only love Gio"
"Alice, one day you'll be able to love Michael. Consider this papa's last request. You're an only child papa son, papa doesn't know what to do son"
"So I have to marry her?"lirih Alice with tears that wet her cheeks.
"Alice, you know. If the gio company wasn't as big as michael. Gio can't help us either. Alice, papa please. It's all for our family. Think of this as papa's last request"

"Callista has resigned"
"What's? resign? why?"grace asked in shock
"He's moving to a country"
Grace already knows about her sister's relationship with Callista. She always sees Callista along with her brother Daniel. Grace believes Callista is moving out because she sees Daniel getting engaged to another girl.
"Doctor Olivia, can we talk important?"said Grace
"What's Doctor Grace doing?"ask Olivia who is confused
Grace sighed
"Daniel is my sister, is it true that Callista left this city because of my sister?"grace asked Olivia and suddenly made Olivia shocked.
"Well.paaa? Daniel's your brother?"ask the unbelieving Olivia
Grace also nodded
"really"
"Doctor Olivia, I don't know what happened. I just accidentally met Doctor Callista a few times with my brother. I'm sure they have a relationship. I don't live with my parents. I live in my apartment. As far as I know about my brother, he's a tough guy to fall in love with. And I'm confused now that she has a fiancee" Grace said
"Doctor Grace, I don't know what problems my best friend is facing. But I'm sure your brother has inflicted such deep wounds on Callista"
"Why did you hurt a girl?"inner Grace
Grace is not good to Olivia. Olivia is Callista's best friend. He was the younger brother of the man who hurt his best friend. Grace walked out of Olivia's room. Grace believes something happened to her sister. She knew the nature of her brother would not be likely to hurt a girl.
