CHAPTER 100 - Grace and Edward

In the morning Daniel arrived at his office, he deliberately came early because he was waiting for the results of work from Harry and David. Daniel continued to read every report given by his employees. Since the stock declined, Daniel was very careful in checking the reports given to him.

"No sir, today my schedule is off." Grace answered with a smile.

"Oh so, does Miss want to eat here?" Edward asked back while looking at the restaurant before him. And Garce nodded.

"True Master"

"If you don't mind, do you want to eat together ? I happen to want to go to this restaurant for lunch" Edward replied.

"Of course, sir, let's go inside" Take Grace and Edward to follow Grace from behind.

Edward ordered a salmon steak with mashed potatoes for him and also prawn with mashed potatoes for Grace. For his drink Edward ordered orange juice for them.

"Miss Grace is here alone?" Edward asked, sitting in front of Grace.

"Yes my own, but sir may you call me Grace without Miss? it's not in Mr. Grace's office" Pinta.

"Alright, then you should call me with Edward. Without calling Master" Reply Edward and Grace immediately nodded in agreement.

"Good to enjoy Grace" Edward and Grace smiled.

"Edward, why are you alone?" Ask Grace.

"Yes, I'm here because I just finished a meeting at a nearby hotel. Then I decided to eat at this restaurant" replied Edward while enjoying his meal.

"You're so hardworking Edward, there's rarely anyone like you" Grace said.

"I just want to change my fate, Grace. A lot of people used to insult me because I didn't come from a rich family. That's what makes me work hard" Edward and Grace said, smiling again.

"Maybe if I were you, I don't know what to do. Ever since I was a child, I have always been spoiled by my parents. Until I grow up they always say I'm their little daughter" Grace replied.

"That's lucky you Grace, my father left me since childhood. I just live alone with my mom. Sometimes my father comes home but after that he will go again" Edward said.

Grace was silent to Edward's past.

"Edward, I'm sure your mother is very proud of you right now. I've never met a man like you. You taught me to be grateful for what I have" Grace said.

Hearing Grace's words, Edward smiled.

"You're so lucky Grace, you even have a great sister" Edward said.

"Yes I know, but my brother and I are the same. We were born as children of the Renaldy family." Reply Grace.

"That's what makes me work so hard Grace, I want my son to be proud to have a father like me" Edward said.

"I'm sure that, your son would be proud to have a father like you" Grace said with a smile looking at Edward.

Their conversation again stopped when the waiter delivered the juice ordered again by Edward.

"Grace is for you" Edward gives Grace juice and Garce takes it.

"Thank you Edward" said Grace who immediately drank the juice given by Edward and Edward also drank his juice.

"Edward" Call Grace whose eyes are starting to blur.

"Grace what's wrong with you?" Edward asked who saw Grace massaging her temples.

"I think I should go to the bathroom. Either I feel dizzy" replied Grace who immediately stood up. But his body began to waver, he almost fell swiftly Edward immediately caught Grace's body.

"Let me drive you home" Edward said, holding Grace's body. Edward had already asked the waiter for his food bill and he had already paid for it.

Edward walked to the car park. Grace's car was carried by Edward's driver, Edward still got Grace's body into his car.

Edward's gaze began to blur, he felt someone hit the nape of his neck. When he looked at the straight man who hit him. He immediately fell to the ground. While Grace who had been exposed by Edward, she fell unconscious not long after Edward fell.

The man immediately gave the code to his friend and immediately let Grace into their car. Edward was still on the ground right in front of his car.
