CHAPTER 48 - Callista's Concerns

In the morning Callista as usual was preparing to go to Queen Hospital with a buggati car the purchase of her lover. Callista plans to meet Mike. He wants to ask Mike to open his heart to Grace.

Although Callista was confident Mike would turn him down, Callista had at least tried to help his brother-in-law. Callista still did not dare to talk about this to Daniel. He was afraid that Daniel would misunderstand him.

Upon Callista's arrival at Queen Hospital, Callista parked his car beautifully. He walks into the hospital lobby and walks into Mike's office.

Upon arrival in front of Mike's study, Callista sighed deeply. I had to try to convince Mike. At least, despite his failure, he tried.

“Doctor Mike, can we talk?”

“Doctor Callista?” Mike was a little surprised that Callista came to his study.

Callista walked in closer to Mike.

“Mike, sorry I wanted to talk to you as a friend” said Callista who still keeps staring at Mike.

“Say Callista, what's up?” Ask Mike who is curious.

“Mike, do you know near Grace?”

“Doctor Grace? Doctor specialist Obstetrics?”

“Mike do you know he likes you?” Callista is back.

“Look Mike, are you willing to open your heart for him?”

Hearing Callista's words suddenly made Mike shocked.

“Why did you ask me to open my heart to Grace?” Mike asked a little surprised.

“Alright Mike, I spoke to you as a big brother. Can you open your heart to my sister?” Callista asked, who was still staring at Mike.

“Adik? Don't you just have a sister?” Mike is confused by Callista's words.

“Grace is the younger brother of Daniel. When I had my birthday last year, Daniel had proposed to me. I've accepted it and we'll be married soon. That means Grace is my sister-in-law” Callista replied that made Mike really feel pain in his heart. He felt pain in his chest.

“Grace Daniel's sister?” Ask Mike who still doesn't believe.

Callista nodded.

“True, he did hide his identity like I used to. Now Mike can you open your heart to my brother?” Callista Pinta.

Mike breathed deeply.

“Callista, there is an important thing I want to talk about.”

“What's Mike?”

Mike told me about last night. Where he has told Grace that he likes and even loves Callista. Mike doesn't want to make anyone really wish for him. Mike knows the pain because the people we love do not love us. That's why Mike was telling Grace the truth. Mike can't open his heart to any girl other than Callista.

Hearing Mike's words, it really took Callista by surprise.

“Mike, what are you doing?” Callista who started the emotion.

“Callista, I can't lie to my feelings. I love you Callista. I don't care about you having a lover. Even though you have a husband I still love you.” Mike.

“Mike are you crazy? I'm getting married. Mike open your heart to another girl. Don't waste your time waiting for me. Trust Grace a great girl for you” cried Callista who tried to convince Mike.

“You're really crazy Mike, I'm disappointed in your nature. And I'm so disappointed that you hurt my sister. You shouldn't have said that to her. Now I'm sure he'll misunderstand me Callista said.

Seeing that Mike was fixed on his stance, Callista finally ran out of Mike's study. Callista wants to meet Grace soon and explain to Grace.

“How is it, surely grace is disappointed with ku” Mumbled Callista in heart.

He kept his feet up to Grace's study. But by the time she reached Grace's study, it was still empty. Callista believes Grace didn't go to work because Mike's remarks really hurt her.

Callista believes Grace is really disappointed with the reality she got. The man he likes to love his own brother-in-law is not an easy thing for him.

Seeing that Grace was not in her study, Callista ran to her study. He wants to try to contact Grace.

“Callista you why rush?” Ask Olivia who followed Callista as Callista ran into her study.

“There are important things Liv” replied Callista.

Upon Callista's arrival in his study, he immediately picked up his phone on his desk. He tried to contact Grace many times but her phone number was off.

“How is it “ Mumbles Callista slowly.

Olivia was still staring at her panicked best friend.

“Callista, tell me. What's up?” Ask Olivia who tried to calm Callista down.

“Grace must be mad at me liv”

“Why should he be mad at you? What did you do to him?”

Callista tells the story between him and Mike. Mike's saying directly in front of Grace if she loves Callista. Even Mike does not care about Callista who has a lover. Callista has told him that he will get married soon but Mike still does not care. Now what Callista is worried about is Grace's hurt feelings. Calista was sure Grace was disappointed in him. Every girl would want her love to be reciprocated by the man we love. Callista knows how Grace feels.

Olivia sighed deeply when she heard Olivia's story.

“Why Mike can say such crazy things” Excited Olivia who was upset with Mike.

“I'm sure, Grace must have been very hurt. Moreover, he heard the man he loved loved his future sister-in-law himself”

“Yes I've been sure of that, actually my purpose of meeting Mike is to have Mike open his heart to Grace.” Said Callista whose face was starting to get grim.

“Callista, sometimes love can turn into obsession. Moreover, he can't get you. I think you should tell Daniel” all this Reply Olivia.

“How I told you, I was afraid Daniel would misunderstand and be jealous. Daniel is really sensitive if I'm near men”

“Iya I understand, but there is no other choice but for you to tell her. I think even though Daniel is jealous, he will still be wise. Daniel is not a child anymore Cal” Olivia said.

“Tonight I will have dinner with Daniel, it looks like I will tell him tonight”

“Callista, you are innocent here. It's not your fault if someone likes you. You also always refuse the invitation of men who try to approach you. For Grace's matter, explain it to her slowly. I'm sure he'll understand, even though I know he's disappointed but you're innocent anyway. So there's no reason for her to hate you” Olivia said as she stroked Callista's shoulder.

“Thanks Liv, you are always there at a time like this” Callista immediately hugged Olivia tightly and Olivia also returned Callista's embrace.

“It has become the duty of a friend” replied Olivia with a smile.

Calista decided to tell Daniel tonight. I hope Daniel doesn't misunderstand him. Being stuck in a position like this really makes Callista uncomfortable.
