CHAPTER 108 - Meet Esme

Today is Callista's holiday. He decided to go to the salon. He wants to relax his body. Callista asked Daniel for permission to go to the salon. As usual her husband will allow if Callista takes Nick. Callista initially refused, because he only wanted to go to the salon. But because of the sharp gaze of her husband, she finally complied.

"Essme?" Callista was surprised to see Esme.

"You're in Los Angeles?" ask Callista.

"Yes, I'm opening a new branch beauty clinic in Los Angeles. I'll probably be here a long time" Esme replied.

"Who are you with, Cal?" ask Esme.

"I'm with my driver" Callista replied, glancing at Nick.

"Since how do you like being accompanied by a driver? as far as I know you didn't like bodyguards and drivers the most" Esme said.

"My husband is too much, I'm not allowed out if I'm not with my driver" Callista replied.

"Lucky you're Cal" Esme said, making Callista smile.

"I'm really lucky to have a husband like Daniel" Callista said.

"Cal, may I ask you a little?"

"What's wrong?"

"Do you know where Tomas is right now?" esme asked which made Callista a little surprised.

"Tomas?" Callista scrunched his forehead when he heard Tomas' name.

"Yes, do you know where Tomas is right now?" ask Esme back.

"Esme, I don't know about Tomas.I haven't even met since my father banned me from meeting Tomas. I think you already know that" replied Callista.

Esme breathed deeply.

"I've been looking for her since a long time. But since your father threatened Tomas from then on, I've never seen Tomas again. I think you're still in contact with him" Esme said.

"No Esme, I never knew anything about Tomas." replied Callista.

"Why are you looking for Tomas?" ask Callista.

"It's okay, Cal, I just want to know the news" Esme replied.

Tomas is the guy Esme and Callista liked when they were in high school. Tomas likes Calliista, just because Tomas's family is not from a prominent family. Callista's father threatens to destroy Tomas' family if Tomas dares to approach Callista.

Callista is angry at his father who forbids Callista from having a relationship with Tomas. Callista has loved Tomas for a long time. Tomas is Callista's senior brother who was idolized at the time of Callista High School first.

From the moment Callista's father threatened Tomas, Tomas suddenly switched schools and no longer contacted Callista. Callista used to feel disappointed because Tomas did not try to melt his father, but Callista did not want to force Tomas. At that time, Callista was still very young. For him quite like Tomas is more than enough without having to be a pair of lovers.

Callista had long forgotten Tomas, but not Esme. Esme always felt jealous because Callista always got the man Callista wanted. It was Tomas, now Daniel.

"Esme, sorry I have to go first huh" said Callista.

Esmpe immediately nodded.

"Yes Cal, be careful" Esme and Callista replied directly walking to the cashier to pay the bill. After that, he went straight to his car.

Not long before Edward waited, the beautiful girl he was waiting for now appeared in front of him.

Grace looks so beautiful and charming tonight. With a navy-colored long dress without arms makes Grace very graceful.

"I'm sorry I'm late" said Grace, who sat in front of Edward.

"It's okay, I've ordered food for you" replied Edward.

"Thank you"

"Tonight you are so beautiful" praised Edward who has been staring at Grace ever since.

"Thank you, you're so handsome" Grace replied and Edward replied with a smile.

"Grace, I want to get to know you better. May I ask you something?" ask Edward.

"Please Edward, what's wrong?"

"What's the reason Mike made you a target? sorry I was just curious"

Hearing Edward's question, Grace immediately sighed deeply.

"I think you know Mike likes Callista, don't you?" grace and Edward asked.

"Yes, I found out from Daniel who told me" Edward replied.

"Actually, I used to love Mike" Grace replied to Edward's surprise.

"You ever liked it?"

Grace also nodded.

"Yes, I used to like her, but she likes Callista. I was once angry with Callista but I realized we can't force someone to like us" Grace said.

"Then Mike deliberately asked my brother to choose between saving me or giving me his wife" Garce continued.

"Do you still like Mike?" ask Edward again.

"Since the time Mike said he didn't like me but he liked my brother-in-law. I don't like Mike anymore, and now in my heart and mind he's a very disgusting guy" Grace said.

Edward touched Grace's hand.

"Grace, I once liked a girl. And I couldn't have it either, I'd forgotten it and when I realized you were really replacing that girl" Edward said, staring at Grace.

"Edward, I was touched by your kindness and sincerity. I also want to start and open my heart to you" Grace replied with a smile.

"Thank you, Grace, for opening your heart. Honestly in my mind right now I want to always protect you" Edward said.

Hearing Edward's words, Grace was really touched. True to what his brother-in-law said, Edward was the right man for him. Grace has decided to open her heart to Edward. He was sure Edward would not hurt his heart.
