CHAPTER 122 - Callista's Return

Today is exactly the day Callista is allowed to go home. Callista is very happy. He could not wait to sleep in his room. I was really bored in this hospital. "God my husband, do you want to keep your caged wife from doing anything? I can get bored if there is no activity" exasperated Callista exclaimed.

"And one more thing, being pregnant is not a disease. Did you forget that your wife is a doctor" Callista continued.

"Honey, you have no choice but to obey your husband's wishes. Anyway you should not be exhausted" Daniel said.

Callista took a deep breath, free to argue with her husband.

"And tomorrow there'll be a new assistant for you, he doesn't take care of your work. Your work is taken care of by Leora. The new assistant I've prepared takes care of your needs. You shop with him and when you work at the hospital, he goes with you" Daniel said, surprising Callista.

"God, what's the new assistant for? Leora's been handling my work, hasn't she? I don't need an assistant anymore" Callista exclaimed.

"Dear, obey. Don't argue because what I've decided can't be changed" Daniel replied.

"Truly annoying" Callista grumbled inwardly.

Daniel, who knew his wife was upset with him, hugged her.

"Honey, I did this because it was to take care of you and our son" Daniel said while stroking his wife's stomach.

"Yes, but you're too much" Callista murmured.

"Not excessive, only I have to be vigilant. I don't want you to be exhausted, and I don't want you to get hurt again" Daniel said.

Hearing her husband's words, Calista immediately stroked her husband's jaw.

"Calm down, I make sure I won't get hurt again" Callista replied gently.

Grace has arrived at Edward's company. Since today was her holiday, she decided to go to her lover's company. He had wanted to deliver his brother-in-law, but because his brother went so he decided to come to Edward's office.

Grace goes straight into the company, the employees who see Grace say hello with respect. Because they already know that Grace is the boss's lover.

Grace headed straight for the private elevator that Edward used to use. Because indeed Edward gave access to Grace to use personal facilities in his office.

"Today you're off?" ask Edward.

Grace nodded "Yes, I'm off" Garce said.

"Do I bother you?" ask Grace.

"Dumb question! of course I'm so glad you came" Edward replied.

Edward pulled Grace to sit on the sofa.

"How's Callista doing, he's healthy?" ask Edward.

"Today, he was out of the hospital. I wanted to drive him but my brother said there was no need. Maybe they want to see immediately" said Grace.

"It's good that he's out of the hospital, greet me for him." Edward replied.

"Grace" call Edward.

"Hem huh?"

"If you don't mind tomorrow, I'd like to introduce you to my mother" Edward said.

Grace immediately smiled "I don't mind Edward" Grace said.

"Grace, I only have one mother. She really wanted to know you, because I told her about you" Edward said.

"Tell me?" Grace was a little surprised.

"Yes, of course I'm telling you about my beautiful and smart lover" Edward replied, which made Grace smile again.

"Mother is a great woman, baby, you can ride alone. Until you're so great right now, your mom is really great" Grace said.

Since childhood, Edward was only foster by his mother. His father left him, although sometimes his father came back but it was only temporary. His father chose to leave and leave him.

"Edward, what does your mother like?" ask Grace.

"My mother?"

"What about your job? is everything okay?" ask Grace back.

"Everything is going very well, I'm going to open a branch company in Italy and Mexicco" Edward replied, to Grace's surprise.

"Certainly that?" ask Grace who still doesn't believe.

"Yes right, maybe next month" replied Edward.

Grace hugged Edward tightly.

"I'm so proud to have such a great lover like you. Look you don't need to be born into a rich family, I'm so proud of you dear" Grace said.

Edward returned Grace's embrace and kissed Grace's head..

"I'm proud to have a boyfriend like you, thank you for not taking issue with my family background" Edward said.

"Don't say that, I have you no matter what your background is. All I know is that you are a responsible man and willing to work hard. That's more than enough for me" Grace replied.

Hearing Grace's words, Edward hugged Grace tightly again, he was really happy with what his lover said.
