CHAPTER 47 - The Bitter Reality

It was late at night, after lunch together. Daniel takes Callista home to his apartment. As usual Daniel will ask his driver to bring Callista's car home to the apartment owned by his girlfriend.

Daniel drove his car at a moderate speed, in Daniel's car started his conversation.

“Sweetheart, tomorrow night I take you to my family's mansion” Daniel said as he drove his car.

“Hem? To your family mansion?” Callista's question confirmed Daniel's words.

“Iya”

“What is an event?”

“No dear, my mama asked me to take you.”

“Alright”Callista with a warm smile.

“Honey, I want to ask" asked Callista.

“What's sweetheart?”

“Why do you have Andre to be a director at the entertainment company you bought?”

“I am unlikely to leave the main office, in terms of profit, the main office many times has a big profit. And I don't like to meet a lot of artists and models. I think Andre is a great fit . He was like a brother to me. He is as important as Adam and Taylor. We've been friends of four since long”

Hearing Daniel's words, Callista immediately hugged Daniel's body tightly.

“Yes, I used to think you were so arrogant. I also think you're no different from Ka Jessica who uses parents' possessions”Ucap Callista while showing her white teeth.

“But, it was a darling. Don't be angry just yet. You and Ka Jessica turned out to be developing your family company. That was really great. I learned a lot from you and my sister” Callista said back.

“Sweetheart, I'm so sure you'll be a good mother to my kids”

Mobile Daniel has arrived at the apartment owned by Callista, Daniel began to enter the lobby apartment Callista. As usual Callista kissed Daniel's lips.

“You be careful ya” Callista kiss Daniel's lips back.

“Yes sweetheart”

Grace has prepared for dinner with Mike. She has dressed up with a very beautiful mini mala. Grace was wearing a red sleeveless long dress and paired with a very beautiful diamond necklace

Grace had already sent Mike a message if they would meet at Botega Restaurant. Now Grace drives her sports car and heads to Botega Restaurant.

Arriving at Grace's Botega Restaurant, Grace walked into the restaurant. He saw Mike waiting for him.

“Sorry I'm late” said Grace when she saw Mike had met first.

“No problem, I have ordered food for you” replied Mike.

“Thanks Doctor Mike” Grace sitting opposite Mike.

“Grace, we're out of the hospital. You can call me Mike”

“Good Mike”

“Mike, I want to thank you for dinner with ku”

“I'm sorry, for always rejecting your invitation”

“Mike can I ask you something?”

“Please, why Grace?”

“You refused dinner with me because you already have a lover?” Ask Grace back.

“I don't have a lover. But I'm chasing the love of a girl” answered Mike.

“Seoarang girl? Who?” Grace asked a little excitedly.

“Did Mike like me?” Grace muttered in her heart.

“Maybe you will be surprised. But I just want to be honest, I don't want to hurt your heart, Grace. I know you like me, but I like Callista. I'm sorry Grace” Mike replied.

“Aa..paa? Callis.taa?” Grace is shocked to hear the girl Mike likes.

“I know, Callista does have a lover. But I'm sure one day Callista will be mine. I like it and not just like it. I love Callista”

Grace was silent when she heard Mike.

“What does Callista know this?” Grace tried to hold back her tears.

“He should have known. I bought him a present when he had his birthday. I have also asked her out on a date several times. Even though he rejected me, I'm sure one day he accepted me. Grace I'm sorry I hurt you, but I can't love another girl besides Callista”

Grace could not hold back her tears. Grace runs away from the restaurant and Mike is still sitting as Grace runs. She kept crying all the way. He likes a man who doesn't like him. And the man loved his own brother-in-law. Grace's anger really peaked. He drives the car at full speed. He no longer cared about his safety. The pain and disappointment in his heart really broke him tonight.

Grace has been trying to keep chasing Mike even though all she gets is a rejection. It doesn't matter if Mike says he likes another girl. But now what makes him very sick is that Mike loves his own future brother-in-law. Grace is disappointed that Callista did not tell her if Mike approached her. Grace felt in a lie, all this time she always told me about Mike in front of Callista. He really feels stupid. Grace is furious in front of Callista for not warning Grace.

“Why should the Callista you love Mike” Lirih Grace with her sobbing.
