Episode 90 Anger from Someone from the Past

The light of the morning sun warmed up Vara's skin who deliberately spent her time with breakfast and reading novels in the back garden of the house. A cup of warm tea and a cup of chocolate-filled bread became his breakfast menu this morning.

Mama Irena approached Vara silently and looked at the novel that Vara was reading from behind.

"Mom think you're chatting via chat with Bry, apparently reading a novel." Mama sat opposite Vara.

"No Ma.. Bry had already sent a chat that he was on his way to the office."

"Oh so.. How's your wedding prep going, honey?"

"Current Ma.. WO is very professional. I don't have to bother thinking about all the details of the preparation, they take care of it very well."

"Thank God.. Oh, honey, yesterday's application, why didn't you invite Brandon and Samuel?"

"Samuel is outside the city of Ma.. And Brandon's back in Korea."

"What's? why don't you tell me, honey? He is your best friend. And as far as Mama knows she really does not want to return to Korea, because she already feels at home in Indonesia. Why are you suddenly back in Korea?"

Vara was speechless hearing her mother who was slightly nagging. Vara never told her and Brandon about her. And now he felt quite confused giving a reasonable reason to his mother.

"Already Ma.. It was his decision, maybe he could be happier there."

"Hmm, Yeah.. There are her parents."

Vara nodded slowly then sipped her tea slowly.

"Where are you going today?"

"I'm going to Ma's wedding souvenir gallery.. I'd like to add some souvenirs."

"You can ask the WO team, why go there yourself?"

"To be more satisfied choose Ma."

"Hmm, okay. But Mama can't keep up. Mama has to go to the office today."

"Yes Ma.. I can do it myself."

"alright.. But be careful, dear..!"

"Yes Ma.."

Mama smiled looking at her beloved daughter who always seemed happy before her wedding. For a moment there was a sense of worry in Mama Irena's heart, but soon brushed aside.

1 hour later Vara had parked his car in the parking lot of the souvenir gallery. Just now Vara got out of the car and was about to close the door of his car, suddenly someone masked and wearing a hoodie moved to him. Without having a chance to guess what the man was going to do, Vara felt his right abdomen ache. When directed his gaze towards the stomach, it appears that blood soaks and stains his shirt which is bright blue.

The person who pierced his stomach seemed to run fast, but still had time to be seen by Vara, some people dressed in black had already managed to bend the person.

Before her consciousness was gone, Vara could still see someone running and holding Vara's body down.

"Varaa.. Iwaang.. Awake, please!"

"Mazier.don.."

Instantly Vara loses consciousness in Brandon's arms. Without wasting any time, Brandon immediately escapes Vara to the nearest Hospital, accompanied by Jared and his 2 men.

Brandon only focuses on Vara's safety, he does not take care of the perpetrator of the stabbing Vara because he knows Bry's men who guard Vara from a distance, have managed to subdue the culprit. Although they are late to save Vara due to the movements of the piercer that they did not predict. But Brandon still asked 3 of his men to find out who really did the Vara stabbing.

Bry was leading a management meeting, when suddenly Daniel who finished receiving the phone approached and whispered something.

"Bry, come with me out of the room, there's something important I need to report."

"We're meeting Daniel."

Bry, hearing Daniel's words, immediately walked out of the room ahead of Daniel.

"What's up Daniel?"

"Vara's at the Hospital, someone stabbed him."

"Whataa? Who would dare to do it?"

Bry's loud screams made it into the meeting room, sending Kevin catching up.

"Kim Ha Ni."

"Shii... Bastard!!!"

Bry runs with Daniel behind him, while Kevin goes back into the meeting room to announce the cancellation of the meeting management, then runs after Bry and Daniel.

Bry drove at high speed to the hospital. Daniel who was next to him did not dare to remind Bry to slow down the speed of his car, because it would only make Bry more emotional. Kevin who followed Bry with his car also seemed to have difficulty following the speed of Bry's car that was too fast.

Arriving in front of the Hospital lobby, Bry rushed down without parking his car properly. So Daniel finally parked Bry's car in the parking lot. While Bry had darted up to the 5th floor of the Hospital after knowing Vara's treatment room from the Receptionist.

While running towards Vara's room, Bry is surprised to see the least liked face coming out of the room bearing Vara's room number. Brandon, the person he least expected appeared again before him. In front of the room also stood some Brandon's men, as well as some of Bry's men who immediately bowed their bodies towards their Boss who had just arrived.

Brandon, aware of Bry's arrival, looked at Bry with the lightning of his sharp eyes. When Bry reached Brandon, Brandon without warning aimed his punch at Bry's face which was completely unprepared to receive Brandon's punch.

"Saekkiya.. Look I'll kill you, until something worse happens to Vara."

Bry's men were about to avenge Brandon's blow, but Bry raised his hand, forbidding his men to retaliate.

Bry did not say a word even though emotions were already so controlling his heart and mind at the moment. The corners of his lips were torn and bleeding from Brandon's slow punch. But Bry doesn't care, the most important thing for him right now is to look at Vara's state.

Bry steps his foot into Vara's treatment room. Daniel and Kevin come together and are as surprised as Bry is when he sees Brandon. Eventually Daniel and Kevin just wait outside, letting Bry accompany his future wife without anyone's interference.

Vara appears to be asleep when Bry enters. Bry took a chair to the side of Vara's bed, then sat down while holding Vara's left hand with both hands.

"Dear, wake.. Forgive me for failing to protect you. Forgive me for being this completely useless."

He kissed the back of Vara's hand lovingly. Her tears trickled right on the back of Vara's soft hand.

Suddenly eyes opened and set his gaze to the already tangled-looking face of his lover.

"I'm okay, honey. Don't be sad."

"It's all because of me. You're hurt bad because of me. I'm sorry, dear."

"When you were in Granada, you were shot because of me. I heard it earlier, is it true that the one who stabbed me was Kim Ha Ni?"

Bry nodded his head.

"Why are we liked by psychopaths who don't have common sense."

Brandon, who had just entered the room, felt insinuated and offended.

"Who do you mean psychopath? Don't compare me to your crazy boyfriend."
