Episode 2 The Disappearing Light

It seems that this journey has gone too far from Vara's estimation, because Vara began not to know the areas they passed through. But Vara believes in Arya, wherever Arya takes Vara there can be no bad intentions in Arya's mind.

After traveling for more than half an hour, Arya and Vara reached the border of a very crowded city. It seems that this is a wild race, Vara's confusion is not touched by Arya, he just went for a while and came back with 1 cheese burger and 1 cup of strawberry juice. There will be no romantic dinner to celebrate the 6th month of Arya and Vara's relationship.

While Vara's thoughts drifted everywhere, Arya only watched her lover with a smile. It seems Arya knows what Vara is thinking.

“Var, it will be more romantic than just dinner.”

Arya looked at Vara while smiling gently. Vara smiled even though she still did not understand Arya's words.

It seems that Arya realizes that Vara is still busy with her own thoughts. Until finally Arya realized Vara with a soft kiss on Vara's forehead. Vara was so surprised by what Arya did, but Arya just smiled as she left leaving Vara who still had a confused expression.

People are starting to form smaller crowds, this race looks like it's about to start. Arya entered the track with several other people. Vara still does not understand what Arya means, and wonders if Arya is following this wild race or not.

Vara was confused by what she should do, Arya smiled back at Vara and her mouth said something silently. But Vara clearly caught what Arya said.

“I love you”, Vara is sure that's what Arya said. Vara did not reply to Arya's words, her mind began to get busy with questions about what Arya was going to do. Vara began to worry to see Arya who was getting ready with her motorcycle.

Vara's body drowned instantly, as Arya began to drive her bike as fast as possible, she was so worried about Arya's safety. Vara's eyes twitched, unable to see Arya playing with her guts. Vara was unceasingly praying, hoping that nothing bad would happen to Arya.

Disappointed in Vara's heart because Arya did something Vara never expected. Vara did not want to see this race, so he just lowered his head with mixed feelings.

Suddenly a very loud sound was heard and people were running towards the source of the sound. Vara ran by dragging her trembling body. Vara forced a faster run, as the distance of the source of the loud noise was quite far from the crowd.

At once Vara's body was weak, when he saw Arya lying with so much blood in some parts of his body. Vara also began to be unconscious.

The whitewashed walls that Vara first saw when he opened his eyes. Slowly looking at Mama Irena and Papa Devan looking at Vara with a sad look. A moment later Vara just remembered the state of her lover, Arya.

“Mah, Which Arya?”

Vara asked in a loud tone, but Mama Irena just kept quiet while sobbing softly. Papa Devan also just looked at Vara with a sad look. A moment later Reyvan approached Vara slowly and gently held Vara's shoulder.

“Sabar Var, you must be strong. Aryans.. Ud gone.”

“Kak what does it mean?”

But Reyvan did not answer anything, he just hugged Vara tightly. Vara still does not believe and does not accept what happened. His body was hollow, while still he felt the embrace of Reyvan and Mama Irena who held his body.

Vara tried to hold back her tears with all her might as Arya's corpse was slowly being inserted into the burrow. But her tears did not stop. Vara hugged Mama Arya tightly, her body limp helplessly. But Vara is trying hard, especially she has to calm Lana, Arya's sister who several times hysterical and fainted.

Reyvan stood behind Vara just in case, as Vara was already looking limp and her gaze started to empty. Reyvan was afraid that Vara could faint at any time. Mama Irena and Papa Devan accompany Vara and are seen shedding tears. They loved Arya so much that they were so close to her, that they felt so lost. They realize that something will change in their child after this. Because the source of happiness and cheerfulness is no longer there.

Vara's friends also came. Brandon occasionally rubbed Vara's arms and back to strengthen her best friend. Likewise Vanny, Danila also Samuel who is not ceaselessly giving spirit and support to Vara.
