Episode 116 Brandon & Sharon
Brandon decides not to accept Sharon's invitation to dinner with Vara's family and friends, some of whom are also her best friends, citing headaches. Brandon still feels awkward dealing with all of them, who certainly knows his feelings for Vara. It would be best if Brandon didn't meet them first tonight, to avoid any inconvenience.
Brandon stared at the ceiling of the resort room he was in. Actually he really does not like being at the resort owned by Bry, but Brandon chose to be a little shameless in order to be with the woman he loves.
But who exactly was the reason Brandon behaved like that?
FLASHBACKS
Brandon stared at the departure of a woman named Sharon who was flanked by two friends who were so curious about the incident experienced by the woman, that it could collide with the cold CEO of the owner of the hotel where he worked.
Brandon was about to walk back to the bar, but his gaze was fixed on a cell phone lying where the woman had fallen. Brandon concluded that the phone most likely belonged to a woman named Sharon.
With the phone taken, Brandon intends to return it to Sharon by leaving it in the Receptionist. But suddenly his gaze was glued to the screen of the unlocked phone and showed the face of Vara lying on the bed with 2 twins lying on his left.
Brandon opens Sharon's chat app, he doesn't care about privacy or manners, which Brandon is obviously very curious about Sharon's phone contents. Brandon's eyes widened when he saw the chat in one of Sharon's group chats, where the contents were filled with discussion of the process of Vara giving birth and photos of Vara and her two twins.
Brandon's eyes glazed over, the sadness suddenly blurted out so densely.2 twins who were so similar to Bry and Vara seemed to confirm the evidence of love from both of them.
Brandon changed his goal and turned towards his study. Jared is Brandon's cousin and assistant trust.
"I asked for a personal file from a staff member named Sharon. It looks like he's from Indonesia. I'll wait right now."
Jared went straight to the Human Resource Department to request Sharon's personal files. Not for 10 minutes, Jared had returned to Brandon's room and submitted the file that Brandon had requested.
Brandon's eyes were perfectly rounded, as he read the full name written in the file. SHARON MAKAIO ANARGHYA'S. The same last name as Vara, Brandon suspects Sharon may have a family relationship with Vara.
"Find out this woman's relationship with Vara. I'm waiting for you today."
Without wasting any time, Jared exerts all his abilities and connections to find out what Brandon is asking for. Brandon waited impatiently.
Just 1 hour, until finally Brandon smiled satisfied to read all the information obtained by Jared. It turns out that Sharon is Vara's cousin, the son of Papa Devan's sister who lives in the town of J. But Sharon no longer has parents because both of Sharon's parents died in a car accident 2 years ago.
"Sharon spent his childhood until Junior High in J City with his parents, but Sharon High School lived with his Grandmother in C City. After graduating from High School, Sharon was accepted to E University, Seoul Korea. Upon the death of her parents, Sharon returned to Indonesia and decided to stay back in Indonesia, feeling the loss of her parents. Especially after the death of his parents, his parents' company was suddenly taken over by his father's business partner. So that Sharon does not have the cost to continue studying at E University which is famous for its expensive and elite campus. Lucky Vara's father financed Sharon's college to completion."
Brandon nodded his head at Jared's long explanation.
"Where does he live?"
"In the LA apartment near this hotel."
"OKs.. Now call him into my room."
A few minutes later Sharon was in Brandon's room with Jared.
"Jared, leave us."
Jared immediately left Brandon's room. Sharon's body trembled while looking down, avoiding Brandon's eye gaze towards her. Sharon's mind was not calm, thinking Brandon was still upset by the incident earlier when Sharon accidentally bumped into him.
"I want to return your phone that fell when we collided earlier."
Brandon thrust out Sharon's phone while putting on his best smile, hoping Sharon would be charmed by her.
As Brandon expected, Sharon took his phone without batting an eye, enchanted by the smile of a handsome creature before him. His gaze was so shady, so different from the figure he had collided with, it was extremely haughty and cold.
"Sharon.."
Brandon's call resuscitated Sharon from her gaze at Brandon.
"Eh Sorry..Thank you Daepyonim (CEO)."
Sharon kept her phone in her blazer pocket.
"Sharon, in return for your gratitude to me, tonight can you accompany me to dinner?"
"Huh? Sorry Daepyonim, I.."
Please don't refuse. I was so happy to meet someone from Indonesia, because I also lived in Indonesia."
"really? When's Daepyonim? How long?"
"Well, you seem so curious.. How about I tell you about it at dinner tonight?"
"Hm.. How ya?"
"Hmm, well Daepyonim.."
Brandon smiled in satisfaction at Sharon's reply, which easily entered into his plan.
Since then, Brandon has been very aggressive in making an approach to Sharon. Every day Brandon picks up Sharon to his apartment, takes her to lunch together, and drives her home after dinner together.
At first Sharon felt a little uncomfortable, as Brandon so blatantly approached her. Moreover, the words of his coworkers who always think negatively of him, they think Sharon deliberately approached Brandon because he was tempted by his money. Of course this made Sharon sad and slowly shy away from Brandon.

Friday afternoon before commuting to work, Brandon called Sharon to come to his room. Sharon looked uncomfortable and more often bowed her head to avoid Brandon's gaze.
"Sharon.. Lift your head!"
Sharon raised her head hesitantly. Brandon approached Sharon, eroding the distance between the two of them so that Sharon could now feel the warm breath of Brandon hitting her face.
"Never avoid me.."
Sharon looked up her head staring straight into Brandon's sharp bead of eyes.
"I feel bad about what people say, they say I approach you because I'm tempted by your wealth. We better not get too close to Daepyonim."
Brandon was surprised by Sharon's words, inexplicably Sharon's words made her chest a little sore. The presence of the girl for these 3 weeks in her days, has made her accustomed. The girl who was so innocent and so cheerful, even though Brandon knew, Sharon covered her heart wound. But Brandon never brings up Sharon's grief, Brandon just wants Sharon to forget about all her sadness with Brandon.
Brandon gasped with his thoughts, why didn't he want to see Sharon grieve?
"Sharon.. Stop thinking about people's words. Think of yourself. Don't you like being with me?"
"A.. L like it. But.."
Honestly, Sharon likes her relationship with Brandon. Though hesitant about Brandon's intentions, Sharon admits the days are becoming more colorful because of Brandon's presence.
"But what?"
"We have nothing to do. So I'm.."
"Let's get married.."
Brandon was surprised by what he said. His words did not come out because of orders from his brain. Sharon silently watched Brandon say. But a few seconds later, Sharon stared deeply at Brandon's bead.
"Are you serious?"
Brandon hesitated to answer what, but somehow his head nodded steadily without being commanded by his mind.
"I want to marry you."
Brandon's mouth was open to Sharon's reply. But a second later a sweet smile was plastered on her face and a warm feeling suddenly surfaced in her heart.
Brandon hugged Sharon's petite body and buried his head in Sharon's neck niche.
"Thank you Sharon.."
His smile grew wider, but Brandon did not know for sure why. Whether because she was happy, Sharon was willing to marry him, or because everything went according to her plan.
