Episode 7 - Jealousy

"I'm home, Bry." Vara got out of the car without waiting for an answer from Bry. Bry was just sitting in the car while watching Vara who got into his red sports car and began to drive his car at moderate speed.

Bry runs his car and follows Vara's car while keeping his distance. Actually Bry already knew where Vara's house, because Bry had followed Vara's car several times back home. He is often worried about Vara's safety, especially if Vara comes home at night.

Almost 20 minutes later Vara's car had entered his yard. Bry stopped his car across from Vara's house. Not long before Bry was about to drive his car, but a glimpse of Bry saw the existence of Brandon in the yard of Vara's house. Bry canceled his intention to drive his car. Bry watched Brandon who was embracing Vara's shoulder with one of his hands and walking into the house.

Bry feels jealous every time Vara is with Brandon. Many times Bry saw them on campus. And Bry is convinced Brandon has more feelings for Vara. The way Brandon treats Vara doesn't look like a friend. To be honest Bry is eager to keep Vara away from Brandon who he considers a tough rival.

Bry waited for Brandon to get out of Vara's house. But after 1 hour passed, Brandon did not come out of Vara's house. It made Bry very emotional, but Bry could not do anything about it. Finally Bry drove his car fast and left Vara's house feeling very upset.

The wall clock in the living room of Vara's house shows 6pm. Vara's house is still quiet because Kak Rey, Mama and Papa Vara are still not home. The housekeeper was also out because there was a need. Vara was laying her body on the couch reading a novel. While Brandon sat on the rug with his back to the sofa while watching action movies.

"Your birthday is 3 days away, will you have a celebration like last year?" Brandon asked without taking his eyes off the TV.

"Hm.. There won't be any celebration." Brandon took the sofa cushion and hugged it with both hands.

"Your birthday is on this weekend, do you want if we celebrate on the beach? Same with Nila, Vanny, Samuel and the rest of your friends if you want. I'll arrange everything."

Vara closes her novel and thinking about what Brandon said, Vara does not want to make any parties, but vacationing on the beach does not seem like a bad idea. Vara needs to calm herself and her heart.

"OKs.. We're going to the beach. But enough close friends." Brandon smiled at Vara and pinched Vara's left cheek.

"Ok cantiiik.. We're going to the beach."

"What the fuck are you. Sick knows."

Vara rubbed her cheek violently. Brandon laughed in response to Vara's behavior which he thought was very funny and adorable.

"Brandooooooonnn..." Vara hits Brandon on the back with her novel. Brandon laughed even harder despite grimacing a little because of Vara's punch.

Brandon was pleased with Vara's slowly changing attitude. Brandon is worried when Vara always shuts herself in the room. She wants Vara to come back as cheerful as before, because Vara's happiness is her happiness as well.

'Vara.. I was late once. Enough 1 time I let you go with someone else. But not this time.' Inner Brandon.
