Episode 53 Family Dinner

Bry spent all day with Vara, as if not willing to miss together when there was a chance to meet between his busy time. Although just watching at home, chatting and playing games together, but when done with loved ones it feels many times more fun.

The time was 18:30 when Vara was ready to go to dinner at Bry's parents' house. Bry had been waiting for Vara in the living room in her semi-formal clothes that she had been carrying since morning in her car.

Bry made no attempt to hide his fascination when he saw Vara coming down the stairs in her gown. Bry extended his hand as Vara reached the bottom of the stairs.

"You are so beautiful, My Love.."

The praise said in a very gentle tone by Bry managed to make Vara blush in embarrassment. Vara does not look charming because of Bry's gown, but Bry's gown looks much nicer because it is worn by Vara who is very beautiful.

"Thank you's.. You are so handsome.." Bry laughed at the praise that finally came out of Vara's mouth.

"Thank you, My Love.." Bry's sparkling eyes accompanied by a soft voice blew away Vara's feelings instantly.

"Let's go now.." Bry pulled Vara's hand gently towards her car. Then drove his car at a moderate speed, after previously telling his destination to Mr. Rahman who opened the gate.

After traveling for almost 1 hour, Bry's car stopped in front of a tall and luxurious gate. Security immediately opened the gate as soon as he saw Bry and bowed his head.

Bry drove his car back through a row of fountains and a beautiful flower garden decorated with lights that shone brightly on each side. Moments later, Bry's car stops right in a very luxurious and spacious mansion with trees around it. Vara's eyes seemed unblinking looking at the magnificent mansion building in front of his eyes.

Bry embraces Vara's shoulder entering a large door with beautiful carvings. Then traverse the spacious & magnificent living room. It takes time and some room to pass until finally Bry and Vara arrive at the family room. It was a middle-aged man and woman who looked at Bry and Vara with a smile. Vara returned their smiles by unraveling her most perfect smile.

Bry immediately stretched out his arms to hug his parents in turn, who were met with a loving embrace from both.

"Mom.. Dad.. I brought a son-in-law for you"

Vara seemed misbehaved by Bry's words, but Bry's parents smiled gently at the rays of love in their son's eyes when they saw the beautiful girl next to him.

"Come, baby.. My name is Jhena and this is Bry's Daddy named Dave." Vara greets Bry's parents very politely while developing a wider smile.

"I'm Zivara, Auntie.. Om.. Just call me Vara."

"Dear call us Mommy and Daddy like Bry called us."

Vara was a little surprised by Mommy Jhena's request, and then looked at Daddy Dave as if Vara was asking and asking for approval. Daddy Dave commented on his smile of dignity and charismaticness towards Vara.

"Yes Vara.. You can call us Daddy and Mommy."

"Good Daddy.. Mommy.." Vara's cheeks blushed red from embarrassment.

"All right, let's have dinner first."

Take Mommy Jhena while hugging Daddy Dave's waist affectionately, followed by Vara and Bry who walk behind while holding hands.

At the dinner table there are many Korean specialties such as Bibimbap, Jajangmyeon, Bulgogi, Kimbap, and kimchi. There are also some of Daddy Dave's favorite British specialties like Roast Meats, Fish and Chips, and Yorkshire Pudding as desserts.

"Please eat Vara, don't be shy.." Vara nodded her head slowly and smiled sweetly.

Bry gets Vara some Korean food that Vara likes, as Vara feels a little clumsy in front of Bry's parents.

"Thank you, darling." Vara said as slow as she could, but it was still audible for Bry's parents to try to hold back their smiles so that Vara would not feel ashamed.

"Samely dear." A loving look was evident in Bry's eyes.

The interaction between his son and his girlfriend did not go unnoticed by Mommy Jhena and Daddy Dave.  They seem to like their son's choice. Unlike the childish Kim Ha Ni, Vara looks very friendly, polite and also mature.

They eat while occasionally chatting and joking. But the sudden arrival of someone spoils the atmosphere that was once warm and pleasant, becomes uncomfortable and a little annoying.
