Episode 74 Honesty Brandon

Inside the room is quite spacious, covered in dim light from the lamp sitting on the nightstand, a man sat on the sofa and unceasingly looked at the sleeping woman covered in a white blanket up to her stomach. His gaze was nilar, looking at the beautiful girl he loved and missed so far.

The longing in his chest felt like it would be stirred up if he did not hold back as hard as he could. His heart and body felt hard to control. It felt like the tiny body of the woman was hugged and held tightly. But the feeling of pain was tucked between the feelings of love and longing that rested in his heart.

Brandon's.. Right now his feelings are raging. The fact that Vara was currently in front of him did not make his circumstances and mood any better. He was indeed very afraid that Vara harbored hatred towards him, because of the depraved deeds he had done. But the pain tucked away was not because of her fear, but rather her disappointment when she saw the red mark clearly visible on the woman's neck. As if to show clearly, that Vara has really become the property of Bryllian.

'Vara.. Is your heart only for Bryllian? Did I not have the slightest chance? Don't realize you, I loved you so much a long time ago. I try to be the best for you, I am always there beside you when you are happy or sad, and I am the first person you can always count on. But why do you always choose someone else to have you? Is that how inappropriate I am for you Vara?'

Brandon's tears flowed without a sound, as a sense of tightness continued to linger in his heart. His mind drifted to his High School days with Vara, where they often spent time together at school or outside school. The relationship between Brandon and Vara that has been established since the beginning of Class 1 High School, is only a friendship for Vara, but not so for Brandon. All the time they spent together, was the best time for Brandon.

From the beginning, he had hoped and tried to get Vara's heart. But Vara seemed to close his heart to Brandon, and never gave him a chance though. Brandon often holds back his feelings and anger whenever Vara is with his girlfriend, and he must always pretend to be okay so that Vara stays by his side even though he is only a friend.

Brandon's sharp eyes caught the movements of the woman he was staring at endlessly. Vara blinked her eyes many times then squinted her eyes trying to clearly see the scene in front of her.

Suddenly Vara's eyes rounded perfectly with surprise, but a moment later the look of the surprised face turned into a look full of fear. Vara inched to the corner of the bed with her hands hugging her knees and covered her with a blanket up to her chest.

Brandon noticed Vara's expression that he had never seen before, and Brandon approached Vara with a slow and careful step because he realized Vara was forming his own defense.

"Vara's.. I'm really sorry. I'm not at all.."

"Don't come any closer..!!"

Brandon's position is getting closer to Vara, making Vara panic and increasingly rewind his body that has hit the head of the bed. There is a bad incident where Brandon tries to take away his honor, making Vara cry hysterically by grabbing her hair hard.

"Aaaaaaaa....."

"Vara please don't do that. I'm sorry Vara.."

Brandon doesn't care that Vara will hate him even more for daring to touch him, but he doesn't want Vara to hurt herself. Brandon climbed onto the bed and tried to remove Vara's hand from her hair which kept being grabbed with all her might.

Plaque.. Plaque.. Bugs.. Bugs.. Bugs..

Vara slapped Brandon's cheeks and then hit Brandon's chest repeatedly blindly. Brandon did not dodge despite the intense pain hitting his chest.

"You're evil Brandon.. Why would you do that to me? Brengseeek you're Brandon."

Brandon bowed his head deeply, avoiding Vara's hateful eyes with a hand that did not stop beating Brandon's chest, even though Vara's hand was hot and sore.

"I'm really sorry Vara."

"You're really mean Brandon. I hate kamuuu.."

Brandon's tears fell right in the hands of Vara who was beating Brandon's chest. Vara instantly stops the blow and intends to pull his hand from Brandon's chest, but Brandon holds Vara's hand to stay in his chest.

"Hit me Vara.. Hate me as much as you. But I'll be selfish this time. I don't want to lose you again."

Brandon straightened his head and looked into Vara's eyes with a puddle of tears on his eyelids.

"But you're driving me crazy Vara. You said I was evil, but didn't you realize you'd been hurting me all this time? You know how I feel about you, but why do you always pretend not to know? I hold back my feelings every time you're with another man, because I don't want to lose you. Why didn't you ever even give me one chance to have you? Am I really not worthy of you?"

Brandon's eyes grew increasingly heated, his tears flowing without being held back. Brandon turned his face away from Vara's eyes.

"But why did you kill Arya? And now you killed Bry too?"

Brandon who was stunned to hear Vara's question, immediately stared into Vara's bead eyes.

"I didn't kill Arya! And stop worrying about Bryllian, he won't die, my men just paralyzed him so Bryllian wouldn't hold you back when they brought you here."

There is a sense of relief knowing Bry is still alive, though Vara believes Bry is not okay with being shot in the shoulder.

"Brandon why do you have to tell people to kill Arya? And now why did you have to shoot Bry to bring me here? Stop hurting anyone else Brandon!"

"I never told anyone to kill Arya. About Bry, I wanted to kill him, but I wouldn't do it right now. Believe what you want to believe. I'll still look bad in your eyes, no matter what I say. Hate me all you want, I don't care. But I'll never let you walk out of my life again."

Bry got out of bed and intended to leave the room, but Vara's words stopped him.

"But I don't want to be with you."

Bry turned his body and looked at Vara with a pushy look.

"Why do you always hurt my heart? Is there never love, even a little in your heart for me?"

Brandon's tears trickled back, making Vara sculpt and freeze instantly. Then Brandon turned his back to Vara.

"Aaaarggghhh..."

Brandon smashed his fist against the wall, making his hand bleed quite a lot. Brandon immediately walked out of the room with his quick and furious steps, leaving Vara still fixated on what had just happened.
